Hello everyone and welcome to heloelo and engine else I might have missed!

Well AF was due today and I've had period type cramps all day today, sore breasts, emotional etc. she hasn't shown up but I'm still getting a bfn. Also getting quite a lot of clear cm (sorry tmi). Very confused. I did opks this month and ff thinks I ovulated on cd 16 but I did have some ewcm after this so maybe I ovulated later? Well i will see if posting this brings on AF!

I want to read this thread properly as there have been loads of posts today! Hope you are all ok and sorry for not replying to each of you properly.

Woke up to excruciating boobs but a bfn. I've decided I'm just testing every day til af arrives now. On the concept of 'I've started so I'll finish' kinda thing. I know it will get til fri / sat and I will feel a bit doom and gloom but hey that's what us POAS addicts do!

Sorry posted before I meant too. I can confirm deffo no green or sparkly pubes. Not at the stage when I will be posting a photo for you all to check either!!

one any sign of af yet? It could mean you ov'd late yes... Or even popped one than one egg out!

liquid your post reminded me of something I read elsewhere on MN. Ibuprofen can affect ovulation so not a good idea to take when ttc. It can delay it apparently. Ok to take during af for pain but best to stop after that. That news had everyone emptying out their medicine cabinets (if anyone still has those) all over the country!! I take it during af (paracetamol dont really touch my pain) and stop after day one / two which are most painful. Thought might be something worth sharing!

fedup wow! POAS every day - impressive!!

I am currently having a month off from booze. Not really for ttc reasons (although conveniently my 'month' goes from AF to AF) but just because I realised I was having a glass most nights. Plus they're wasted calories. And since pregnant with dd I only drink decaf tea anyway, I honestly can't tell the difference!

In other news I didn't get the job. Apparently I was appointable but they gave it to an internal. First thought was oh well at least I can carry in ttc!!

I haven't stopped anything either...I like to think I've cut back on booze but I don't think I have. We had a really busy weekend and I drank a lot....and had a few ciggies! Oh well.

Hi liquid- thanks! Feeling better now so hoping I won't have to go to docs for antibiotics. I drank a river of water and cranberry juice over the weekend so hoping that did the trick.
Well done on cutting from 4 coffees to 1! I'm impressed. I'm down to 2. And will try to cut down to my one at morning. I did give up totally when I was pregnant but there's a lot more incentive when you see the line isn't there!
fedup do you often get painful boobs? That does sound a bit odd to have that if there is nothing happening? Don't want to add to your nuttiness though! I didn't have sore boobs in either previous pregnancy so I can't have phantom sore boobs!!

Good morning everyone and thanks for all the get well wishes yesterday! Had a good day actually in spite of feeling woozy. PIL took ds to an open-air museum/city farm while DH and I went to buy a new bed for ds. Nothing like a bit of flatpack furniture to focus the mind then a late Sunday roast and a reasonably early night! So now ds has his big boy bed and the toddler bed is all empty... Hmmmm
Still no real symptoms to report except for sore boobs and slight cramping, but I guess it's mostly in my head. I'm holding out testing until Saturday, I've run out of tests and not buying any before then so notning to tempt me.

muzzy hopefully you have dtd during the fertile bit before ov so even it you do ov today or tomorrow there are some swimmers up there ready to meet the egg?!

Ps 2be it always bugs me when the appoint internally as they know that's what they want to do from the start and are just going through the motions. Hope you aren't too disheartened as nowt personal by this.

Right, today is the day that we start. Very excited and thank you all for kindly telling me to get over myself!! . Not entirely sure about days etc, but just figured that if we start dtd round about now that would be a good guess (Af finished 3 days ago).
Not even dtd yet and already having to make myself walk away from preg test aisle in supermarket!

Oh muzzy - give dd a couple of days and she will be waving you off again! (Sometimes that's worse as you think they don't want you!!) I remember crying on train and bus whole day tonoffice when first left ds. Awful!

Hmm still no AF but definite bfn on tests. Obviously something a bit weird going on.

I've been taking pregnacare and that has a very high dose of vitamin B6 which is supposed to lengthen cycles - do you think this ought have affected it? Other possibility is that I didn't ovulate and so am just going to have to wait for the withdrawal bleed and try again after. It's pretty weird, I'm never late and my luteal phase is always 13 days...so maybe I did ovulate later than I thought (but it would be weird if I did ass I had very definitely positive opks...)

Hi piglet. That is really odd. I know you shouldn't give up until AF turns up, but I have learnt from this forum that if AF is late and you are getting BFNs then it's not normally the news your after. I so hope I'm wrong in this case. I suppose you may never know what's gone on. Fingers crossed very tightly

Allboxedup I totally understand your thoughts on the wedding abroad. DP and I are supposed to go on holiday abroad for xmas but I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to. I really wanted to do a diving course and hopefully, it won't be on my mind soon. But I have mixed feelings, as in, I'm also quite annoyed that I might be able to. fedupof I soooooo understand what you're going through! I'm 9DPO today. Tried not to POAS this morning. Full morning bladder, not quite awake but still getting mental. Googled HCG levels in early pregnancy. Found out some women do have BFP at this early stage. So I did POAS. Obviously, BFN. But I'm going to put a stop to that early this month, it's too tiring. I'm getting a blood test on Wednesday, 2 days before my period. It's about £15 here without prescription, done in 2 minutes, results in 4 hours.

2beornot Sorry about the job. These things happen sometimes when recruiters have someone in mind internally but still have to / want to see if there's someone else better "outside". It means though that you passed the CV barrier AND you interviewed well - all positive for next time!

onelittlepiglet if it's the conception pregnacare you are taking the B6 in that is really minimal (10mg?) for people actively wanting ot lengthen their luteal phase an extra supplement of 100mg is recommended. Perhaps your pregnant but tests just taking their time showing up? Or ovulated later than usual?
