As if I'm not on enough threads already....but...
have decide to get pro-active and get fit.

On clomid for three months so I have decided to commit to 100 days of good stuff body-wise.
By 5th August (if I have got my maths right) I WILL be a twiglet!!
Slim (a long way to go), brown (healthily done of course) and with all the bumps in the right places!! Including a nice little baby bump too please!!

I thought if I posted on MN I would HAVE to do it!
Here goes....only 99 1/2 days left.....

The peanuts are calling me, but i can feel the bulge of my belly so am going to resist.

Got acupuncture tonight can it help you lose weight??

Alright, inspired by your honesty... I'm 9st8 and 5'3". I want to be 8st11 (wedding day weight).

Don't know about natty, but I haven't had kids coggy, so no excuse for extra poundage. I've just got an incredibly sweet tooth. Usually I avoid aspartame and sweeteners, but when I'm trying to lose weight I lean on them quite heavily.

I'm going to put my Johnsons on tonight, and we shall approach twiglet-ness together.

Where do you weigh yourselves? I go to a Boots and use their scales, as they get calibrated quite regularly. Can't keep scales in the house for the same reason I shouldn't keep pregnancy tests around.

Don't know about Accupuncture and weight-loss. Been thinking about it for fertility though...

No kids yet so no excuses either.

I have to admit i just ate a few peanuts - i must try harder.

Am using the acupunture for fertility reasons but was hoping to kill birds with one stone so to speak. x

I weigh at home but I am very controlled and only do it once a week at the same time.

I would love to be 10st 10 (pre-pg weight) ready to start again with baby attempt number two!

Every time my tummy rumbles I just think 'that's a bit more excess fat being consumed'.

Chocolate cravings very strong today. Trying to keep myself busy to keep my mind off it.

Natty - peanuts. That's funny. Wyh don't you get some yoghurt coated ones? Then at least if you do have some you can tell yourself they're very good for you. Smile

Morning

Think i will be giving the peanuts away today, went to my first acupunture session last night and she confirmed things that i am sure we already know. Like try to eat wholemeal bread instead of white, eat organic meat if i can afford it. Do not eat citrus fruit (not sure if that one just applies to me)

One good thing was that when we talked about exercise and i said basically alls i do is walk my dog she said that was good and i should try and avoid working out all the time really hard!

Can't remember much else as there was a lot to take in.

On another thread i think berries are being talked about as they help fertility, but i hate all berries and have never eaten them.

However, when i looked into that angst catus (sp?) that comes from berries and can make your periods regular it appears that maybe this is missing from my diet and is maybe why my periods are irregular. But on the advise from other MNers i did not buy any, so i might try and see if i can eat berries this weekend.

Think i went off tract there, anyway going to try extra hard today and going for a little swim this evening.

Afternoon.

I don't really like fruit, but I do love berries. Thing is, they're so bloody expensive. We've got strawberries and raspberries growing in the garden, so I'll have some nice freshly-picked organic ones soon. Yum.

I just rely on home-made smoothies to get fruit down me. Oh, and it's hot, so I make ice-lollies out of fruit juice as well. Yum.

Thanks Natty - but I'm not that good. Made meringues for freezing yesterday with left-over egg-white and ended up eating two of them Blush

Anyway, smoothie recipes:

There's the classic strawberry & banana: 6 strawberries, 1 banana, 1 tbsp bio-yoghurt & one orange. Stick the strawberries in the blender with the yoghurt and banana. Juice the orange, pour that in and blend the lot. Yum.

6 strawberries, 1/4 watermelon, 1/2 lime. Put the strawberries and melon in the blender. Juice them lime, add to the blender and blend. Serve over lots of crushed ice.

Spent most of the beautiful sunshine today tidying up for dh who returns tomorrow. How can I make so much untidyness in only a FEW DAYS??!! Shock

Both on Monday but mine will be bad.
I should be a salad queen with all this beautiful hot weather but yesterday I ate junk all day (including a yummy bag of twiglets which made me feel guilty!!!) and today I can't be bothered to eat at all.

Hardly likely to succeed with this attitude am I?! Blush

At work at mo, and someones just got to get everyone ice creams, i am having a bag of buttons - naughty me.

Good luck for Monday, if you are worst at weekends like me, then you could try moving your weigh day to Friday then you have 4 day of recovery dieting. Not really the weigh to do it, but kinda the 80/20 rule.

Hello! Well done Natty - good start!

I quite like having my weigh day on Monday, cos it makes me behave over the weekend. I make sure I save a couple of points every week day to spend over the weekend, which helps.

I weigh myself just before lunch on Monday, then eat WHATEVER I LIKE for the rest of the day: burgers, chocolate, cake - anything. I know it sounds like it should undo all the good work, but I've lost loads of weight. So whenever I've got a really strong craving to comfort eat I think to myself, 'it's ok, I'll have it on Monday'.

Drawback: it's hard to get to sleep on Monday nights as I often feel sick. Nice.

Natty - I started off at 10st3 and got down to 8st11. Obviously I've put some of it back on again, but actually 9 stone is a much more realistic weight for me to maintain. 8st11 was for my wedding.

Eating all that on Mondays, I still lost 1 to 2 pounds a week.

I want fish and chips now coggy. Smile

well, started at 12 and 1/2 stone April, dropped to 10 stone 11 in five weeks, now back up to 12 stone..... bloody clomid and jabs....

They got me so depressed i just had to eat to punish myself.....

need to get it under control again.... want to be 10 stone maybe 10 and half..... gutted i nearly did it then failed..... i am 5 foot 6 high. so well overweight now, size 16-18 !! got down to 12 - 14 , which was lovely.

Good luck all..... i am back on it as soon as i have AF !!

It's just so annoying that it's a battle to lose but soooooooooooo easy to put it on!!

Had an indian and a few drinks last night.
