As if I'm not on enough threads already....but...
have decide to get pro-active and get fit.

On clomid for three months so I have decided to commit to 100 days of good stuff body-wise.
By 5th August (if I have got my maths right) I WILL be a twiglet!!
Slim (a long way to go), brown (healthily done of course) and with all the bumps in the right places!! Including a nice little baby bump too please!!

I thought if I posted on MN I would HAVE to do it!
Here goes....only 99 1/2 days left.....

Unfortunately, don't think I'm a good example..but I WILL do better!

Bummer that AF has come Rachee.
I feel like I may be joining you any day now Sad

"Will do better...." in a few days!!
Have gone TOTALLY off the rails and need to get back on them!

LOADS of cake and even a chocolate bar today - it's hard to want to exercise in the 2WW...good excuse if you ask me Wink
I will feel bad when you all lose 7 pounds each this week and I've put on a stone!!!!

Monday........it's a whole new week.....

OP posts:
coggy · 23/05/2006 23:25

I am a peanut.......big, round and .... rather salty???!!!

Thought I'd just share that!!

Must do better............................Blush

How much did you put on coggy? As an official lurker on this thread, I demand to know.

Rachee · 24/05/2006 19:14

coggy, you gone quiet........... are things ok ????

xXx

coggy · 24/05/2006 19:38

Yes I am okay...although not in this weight department!!

Haven't even bothered weighing myself coz I have freaked out this week eating all sorts of chocolate and stuff I normally don't like!!

Going away next week (ds's birthdate anniversary) so I will start again with avengence the week after!

Sorry to disappoint you Hopecat but I could give a rough estimate at about.....hmmmm...shall we say....20 stone ON !!!!!!!!

Okay...that is a SLIGHT exageration!
Probably a pound or two.....

OP posts:
Hopecat · 24/05/2006 19:39

That's ok then.

I use chocolate and cake as a coping mechanism too - it's a fine tradition. x

coggy · 24/05/2006 21:08

Hi Hopecat - sorry I couldn't stay around to talk before but I had to laugh - dh was calling me downstairs because he'd gone ot get me a choc-ice and kept yelling to come down coz it was melting!!!

Didn't tell him that I was typing a message on a 'losing weight and getting fit' thread!!!

Rachee - I had a bad day when AF arrived so posted quickly and left but I am okay again now thank you! DH is around at the mo so I try not to come on so much then as he thinks I am totally addicted!!
He is watching BB at the mo so I have escaped briefly!
Look forward to catching up properly with everyone soon (when he starts working evenings again!!!!) Grin

When I went to WW, I found that however 'good' I was I always put on 2 pounds on the week AF was due. The next week I'd have lost double my usual.

So water retention was definitely playing a part.

I now don't weigh myself at all in AF week, as it just adds to the stress.

coggy · 25/05/2006 11:51

Aha! That makes sense but I was so fed up I ate loads....
...obviously not the best thing to do then.....!

coggy · 05/06/2006 18:44

Hi I'm back...several pounds heavier but still determind.
Weighed myself this morning so that we can have the same weigh-in day Hopecat if you're still up for that.

Shan't say what I was but need to loose 1/2 stone, ought to loose a stone and would LOVE to lose 1 1/2 stones!!

Here we go again....... Wink

Hopecat · 05/06/2006 21:00

Hello coggy - glad you're back. Did you have a lovely time?

I weighed myself today too. It was what I expected but I am not happy. Serves me right for being a biscuit-conveyor-belt for the last few weeks.

I too need to lose half a stone, but my dream goal is 11 pounds. I thought 5 weeks was a realistic time-frame. What do you reckon?

We shall be gorgeous in time for the August Bank Hol Smile

Rachee · 06/06/2006 09:55

ok, i have now racked on a stone of what i lost, need to do something about this, but still in the frame of mind to punish myself !!!

i weighed last night..... 1 and 1/2 stone loss required........

welome back coggy

xXx

Hopecat · 06/06/2006 11:51

Hi Rachee.

It's really hard to lose weight when you're ttc isn't it?

The first few CDs are taken up with AF, when it's harder to eat less, then you've got a week to really get into it before you start to wonder if you've ovulated and whether you might be PG, and if you'll risk a chemical PG if you eat too little.

Anyway, enough whinging. Sensible diet it is. Cycled to work this morning to get things rolling.

coggy · 06/06/2006 16:29

I soooooo agree with that analysis of our monthly dieting probs.
I was offered a lift to the gym today but declined because I am around ov time and don't wan to knock anything out!!!

I keep telling myself it's just an excuse but I would be annoyed if anything did happened because of dieting/ exercising at the wrong time.

I reckon 5 weeks is a lot more realsitic than my 100 days was!!
Shall we say what our aim is for August bank holiday?
Is a stone unlikely?
I would REALLY love to be back to my pre-pg weight (11 pounds lighter). Iwas going to achieve that 6 weeks after having my ds....but.....here I am a year later!!!
I think half a stone in 5 weeks is probably realsitic for me, any more and it will be a fab bonus!

What about you two?

Natty1806 · 06/06/2006 20:55

Hi

Have decided to join in on this thread as i cannot stop eating at the moment, it is terrible.

Have got about 11lbs to lose but think i will aim for 7 as i don't want to end up eating nothing just to be a twig.

I know what you all mean with the dieting/ttc. It is so hard to get your head round, but really we should be eating 5 portions of fruit and veg a day plus 3 regular meals, the thing i find is i run out of points/calories if i have 3 meals and a few fruit snacks - any ideas?

Anyway will be weighing friday morning - should i post it on her or keep it a secret?

Natty1806 · 06/06/2006 20:56

here not her - oops

Hopecat · 06/06/2006 22:36

Natty - post if you want! Think no-one has because we don't know what size everyone else is. You could be the brave one to start it all off! I will if you will...

We all want exactly the same weight-loss - how bizarre. Rachee - why don't you join us on the 11 Pound Challenge.

Natty - just incorporate your veg into your meals and drink fruit-juice - thereby saving your precious snack-points for real food like biscuits. Smile

Hopecat · 06/06/2006 22:37

Oh and coggy - think August Bank Hol is a great deadline - big incentive too.

Natty1806 · 07/06/2006 07:31

11 Pound challenge is good - it is really werid how we all want to lose the same amount.

Not going to post by weight, not that brave!

Thanks for the tip.

Be good girls!

coggy · 07/06/2006 08:59

Hey I don't mind posting my weight.
Nobody knows how tall you are - you could be seven foot and so hardly overweight at all!!! Grin

Okay, I know....then we wouldn't be doing this thread.

So...August Bank Holiday and 11 pounds it is then.

Are we all weighed this week ready to go. Then we can post our loses (is that spelt right?!) next week on our weigh-in days.

Hopecat, I've also bought some bronzing moisturiser like your Johnson's one (mine's Dove) so I will also be browner too.....

Ooooh....I'm going to be a twiglet, a twiglet, a twiglet (I need a singing loudly emoticon!!)

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 07/06/2006 09:22

Okay hear it goes i weigh 8.7lbs and will be weighing on Friday wish me luck. (there is a bag of choc coated peanuts in my draw!!!!!)

And trust me i am far from being tall!

You lot next... no i have been brave.Smile

coggy · 07/06/2006 09:25

Hmmmmmmmm!! Have suddenly changed my mind after seeing your little 8 1/2 stone!!!
I wouldn't weigh that if I cut a leg and an arm of!!!
Mind you, I AM tall (not as tall as I should be for my weight though...........!)

Okay....deep breath.....maybe it wasn't such a good idea.......here we go......11 stone 7.

Doesn't that make you feel tons better Natty??!!!

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 07/06/2006 10:14

coggy · 07/06/2006 12:17
