coggy · 27/04/2006 15:30

As if I'm not on enough threads already....but...
have decide to get pro-active and get fit.

On clomid for three months so I have decided to commit to 100 days of good stuff body-wise.
By 5th August (if I have got my maths right) I WILL be a twiglet!!
Slim (a long way to go), brown (healthily done of course) and with all the bumps in the right places!! Including a nice little baby bump too please!!

I thought if I posted on MN I would HAVE to do it!
Here goes....only 99 1/2 days left.....

Hey Coggy. Keep a picture of twiglet (or even a REAL twiglet) taped to your fridge to remind you that you want to look brown and knobbly.

And to taste of Marmite. (Yeuch...Splah...Bleuh...)

coggy · 27/04/2006 17:23

Yup...there's an idea!

I will be using your Johnson's holiday stuff I think to get that kind of twiglet glow...

What snack would you be at the moment?

I am definitely a cheesy whatsit....nothing to do with being orange or smelling badly I promise!

It's the puffiest snack I could think of to describe how I feel!!!

OP posts:
Hopecat · 27/04/2006 19:09

A Quaver. Light, bendy & a little bit cheesy.

Not as light as I was before Chistmas, mind you. Sad

jusapea · 27/04/2006 19:20

A rice cake- pale and boring!!!!!

Really must get out moreGrin!!

jusapea · 27/04/2006 19:21

Good luck Coggy, may your knobbly bits shine throughGrin

Twiglett · 27/04/2006 19:22

oy Grin

coggy · 27/04/2006 21:10

Hey....a real-life twiglett - hurrah! Grin

They'll be another in 99 days time.....ME!!
I shall bound on MN at the beginning of August and say..."I AM a twiglet at last!"

OP posts:
coggy · 27/04/2006 21:14

Please don't think me rude jusapea..this is no reference to you and your snackness and I am sure that you are not really rice-cake-like ...but....
is it just me or do rice cakes smell horrid?!

Am I the only person who thinks so?

Mind you...I do want to be a dodgy knobbly thing that you either love or hate....hmmmmm!

OP posts:
jusapea · 29/04/2006 15:24

No offence taken, coggy!!Grin I must say that I think you are right though, rice cakes do have a pretty foul smell! Of course, that doesnt mean I spend my life with my nose in the rice cake tube! They taste pretty foul too!

Maybe I should have chosen something a bit more exciting.................!Wink

coggy · 29/04/2006 20:52

justapea - LOL
Thought it was just me..all my friends think they're wonderful especially as they're pratically fat-free (HEY: another reason for likening yourself to them perhaps??!!! Grin)
I always thought I was missing out but that smel.......ewwwwww!

Almost drove to work yesterday - only day 2!!!
Gave myself a motivational chat (!), told myself that I WILL be a twiglet, wore a brown top and walked!!
Hurrah!!!
Doing well......93 days to go.......

OP posts:
jusapea · 29/04/2006 21:34

Good for you!! It was obviously the brown top that re-inforced those positive twiglet feelings!! Of course, Im fat free(IN MY DREAMS!!!!)
Have decided Im probably more suited to a fruit and nut choccy bar!Grin

Only problem is, they are definitely NOT fat free, SOBSad!!

Rachee · 02/05/2006 22:11

Good luck, i was told by clinic to loose half a stone, that was before i put on another stone and a half !!! ooops. But good news i ahve dropped one stone two pounds in 4 weeks now !!! Very please.... so keep it up !!

I will be there for motivation ( if the will-power fades ) xXx i will not fail either....

coggy · 02/05/2006 22:38

Will-power faded into the blue yonder today!!
No exercise - too tired but I have resisted the red wine that I was very tempted by only an hour or so ago.
I have had no snacks and stuff.
I have recently put on half a stone and that was when I had just got down to half a stone before my pre-pregnancy weight...so I have about a stone to lose.
Weighing myself every ten days.
Your weight lose sounds impressive - well done!
Must get up tomorrow and walk the dog............

OP posts:
coggy · 06/05/2006 09:19

Hurrah - day 10 and I've lost 3lbs!
Would have liked to have lost a stone but reality has to be in here somewhere!!
I am on my way to twiglet-ness at last Grin

Hopecat · 06/05/2006 16:07

Hey coggy - I'm following you around in a creepy stalky manner...

I've been going to Weightwatchers on and off for years now. I weigh about 9 stone and I'm 5'3". I really like being 8st11, but that involves a little too much sacrifice for me.

Weightwatchers is fantastic IMO. I used to weigh 10 and a half, and have kept the extra off for 2 years now.

What kind of doggy have you got? Mine's a lovely little mongrel. She's nearly 2, and beautiful.

coggy · 06/05/2006 16:39

Impressive weight loss for you Hopecat.
I used to go to SWorld - enjoyed it and lost 1 3/4 stone then had ds and not quite back where I should be!!!
Our local SW closed down three weeks after I rejoined - bummer!!
May try WW if I can't do this by myself.
I am doing okay because I can visulise a twiglet!

Does that make sense or make me sound like a crazed fool??!!
I have a very naughty greyhound!
She enjoyed a good run along the beach yesterday (sorry I know that'll make you jealous!! Wink)

I don't mind the crazed stalker thing - I feel like I'm it sometimes!!

OP posts:
coggy · 06/05/2006 16:45

Just thought...I worried that I followed Trace round like a stalker when I first started posting. I haven't seen anything from her for ages. Do you know if she's okay?

OP posts:
Hopecat · 06/05/2006 17:04

I haven't seen her for ages either. Just been looking at the 'Is MN a police state' thread. It is kicking off over there!

I likes a good lurk...

coggy · 06/05/2006 17:09

Ooh - must go and have a peak. Grin

OP posts:
coggy · 06/05/2006 17:12

Am I thick?! I can't find it.
I will go look again!!

OP posts:
coggy · 07/05/2006 08:45

WARNING!!! becoming like a twiglet can make you even more obsessed with thinking you may be pg!!!
I have had almost every symptom in the past 7 days...sore chest, weeing alot, really tired, starving hungry......but before anyone gets excited....
....it's the blinkin' gym what's doing it!!
Sore boobs cos of that horrible chest machine,
weeing loads cos of all the water I'm drinking,
tired just cos I'm actually doing some exercise!
And hungry.....well working up an appitite I suppose.

Decided it's best not to look for signs any more!!
So I'm not! Grin

OP posts:
jusapea · 07/05/2006 10:21

Well done coggy! Your motivation puts me to shame Blush. Can I join you on your twiglet mission please? Have decided that my roundness(!!) is probably the cause of my lack of AF, so am planning on joining SW this week to make a BIG effort to shift it!

No more chocolate for me!!Grin

Hopecat · 07/05/2006 12:53

Well, I made 13 (count 'em) double choc-chip cookies on Friday.

DH had 3 of them.

They are all gone.

The dog did not have any.

No-one else lives in our house.

Oops.

coggy · 07/05/2006 13:20

Hey - as long as they were good Hopecat Grin so what?! I think you deserve a few wines and bicckies this week!!

How do you spell biccies/bickies??!!!

jusapea - please do join me! I am only being fairly well motivated beacuse I have written it down here and now feel oblidged to keep it up!
It helps if you tell people and then you HAVE to do it!!
Saying that...dh and I had a MASSIVE pizza hut meal last night!!! Celebrating the 3 pound loss!! Wink
