Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly opk's or temp charting. They are Contraband

Happy shagging shaggers

Hey everyone, how's your weekends going?
Thanks for looking stuff up for me lil, am guessing maybe its something to do with SMP being more connected to employers, and also that its a percentage of salary for the 6 weeks rather than a set amount. But I'll cross that bridge if when I come to it.
Am struggling to picture my cape because the image of a bear in a knitted crotchless onesie (for newerbies, am not a weird fetishy person this was referred to back thread) keeps on invading my brain. Am currently liking the idea of a cath kidston print cape, but I think a girl needs options - different capes for different moods?
Xxx

lil1ady · 20/04/2013 23:55

different capes for different moods sounds like a good idea but if i m limited to one it would have to be white as that is dh's favourite colour. I'm thinking white lace...very youthful and fertile seeming so maybe it could bring me luck!

well I feel like a fat pig and I'm blaming dh. he is a feeder and his weapon of choice is chocolate. he always brings me these things as surprises so I feel bad if I don't seem happy and eat them, but one more pack of creme eggs I'm going to burst! diet and gym start next week!

still no ertd....but my patience is wearing down and I have spent the day in a cycle of symptom spotting and wondering when I should test! plan A is was to poas next Saturday and luckily there are no hpts in the house! I will be 19dpo by then so that gibes ertd plenty of time to show her ugly face!

where is everyone else at atm, I have lost track...isn't there some synchronised poas due soon?

AQuarkTooFar · 21/04/2013 07:02

My cape shall be black on the outside with a red polka dot lining and I am loving the idea of a hood. would it be too kinky too have it made out of leather

Mm lillady creme eggs! I am due ertd between now and wed so might leave poas until Fri!

Rockchick1984 · 21/04/2013 08:22

Liking the sound of the kinky hood Quark! Think I'd need 2 - a pink one with sparkles and fluffy trim, and a black silk one - pink because its pretty, black for when DH needs help getting in the mood Grin Definitely agree re musical hood - all you Muse fans can have Matthew Bellamy singing you shag songs bringing back awful memories of teenage boyfriend thinking it was seductive to play Boys 2 Men

And Lil I'm very jealous - nowhere near me is still selling cream eggs, I love them sooooo much!

Wow - some of you guys get up early on a Sunday. On a normal Sunday I can't get up before about 9 - it's the law - so I'm impressed with you guys!

Okay - sorry I can't comment on everything going on here - you people talk at crazy speed. Grin

Well, I am just watching the London Marathon and feeling so sad for the people of Boston but so proud too of everyone doing the race and observing the silence before they started.

I am just a teeny a bit proud of myself too - I ran 5km yesterday at the gym in 28 mins, which is about a 9 minute mile which is a minute faster than what I was doing back in October, so I'm really chuffed!

Hope you're okay Rock. Sorry about it all. I hope it's all over with soon for you.

Yay for the house Essie! (sorry if I've got the wrong person but I can't scroll back up now - gah!)

I want a leopard skin coloured (not actual leopard) cape lined with some black fur and maybe a bit sparkly too. I'd love a hood as well with some little ears and some matching socks (I get cold feet). Ooooo and and and can I have a mask like catwoman too?!!!!! Grin

Bearface · 21/04/2013 10:23

Here I am again - hadn't finished my message but felt like I might time out.

Oh yes - I'm 34. I don't feel it at all although I'm not sure what it's supposed to feel like at 34. There are certain things I can't do as much anymore that's for sure like drinking Wine - my tolerance has completely gone down and I get a headache even from three small glasses of wine, but I actually see this as a good thing - it's cheaper and I don't really like getting drunk either. Plus, I have too much to do now and I value my days off so don't want to spend them hungover - very old and boring I know!
Also, my metabolism has slowed down so I can't eat and get away with it anymore. I also can't function without my sleep. I had a couple of nights last week when I slept for about 7 hours and I need 8-9, so ended up sleeping for 11 hours at the first opportunity on Thursday night! So loads for you guys to loook forward to if you're anything like me! Grin But I'm actually healthier and more sorted mentally than I was ten years ago, so I'm very grateful for that.

Hope everyone's well and is having a lovely Sunday. I'm getting a new phone today. Think I'm going to go for an i-phone! [excited emoticon]

cookielove · 21/04/2013 14:13

Hello everyone Smile

I deep cleaned the flat today with our new hoover and everything

And i seem to have really hurt myself not really sure what i have done but i am heading out to a&e to try and get fixed Sad

MrsAVB · 21/04/2013 17:45

Afternoon all. cookie are you ok? Hope you get on ok at a&e too and it'd not anything too serious.
I seriously want to smack DH. Of course, its nothing at all connected to PMT. After last weekend when I came home to a pigsty have just spent the whole day cleaning while he went out. And he didn't even say thank you. Then I was trying on interview outfits and asking his opinion and he found something bad to say about every one eg. "That top makes you look old". Plus he made me go to his friend who lives hours away's son's 1st birthday party yesterday and we were the only people there without children. Sorry, I know this isn't the crap husbands thread but I needed to rant! So I think I'm going to have a cape with metal spikes on the outside to poke him err... while he pokes me...
How's everyone else's weekend? X

cookielove · 21/04/2013 18:15

Hello all

I asked my lovely friend to come over and take me to a&e but when i got up to go all the pain i was feeling (sharp stabbing pain in my belly button running down into my groin, i couldn't walk) had gone Confused so we monitored it for a few hours and then decided that if it came back she would take me to a&e but we would leave it for now Blush she is such a good friend.

So clearly thats the sign i need to do anymore house work Grin

I am also going for a scan a week on tuesday as the doc thinks i may have an ovarian cyst Shock

My lovely dear friend had a baby on Thursday, she came on her due date (clever baby) i'm going to see her on my lunch break on Monday, will get some uber baby huggles,

and guess what another friend is pregnant...... Smile Sad

Erm i am 31, cannot believe i am that old however cause all my work people forgot my birthday this year maybe i am still 30 ???? Grin

I want my cape to have a hood!!

lil1ady · 21/04/2013 22:25

Well bear you have left me uber excited about getting older! Lol. I can already tell I'm getting older. probably not helped by the stress of my job, crappy diet and lack of exercise ttc excluded of course Wink dh said he started to feel older at 28 too. he is 31 this year.

Hope the pains stayed away cookie when I was 18 I had paralising pains in my abdomen, about where I imagine my ovary to be. I was rushed to a&e but they never figured out whether it was rumbling appendix, ovarian cyst or something else. the amount of times I piap for them to test for pg was bonkers. my point is I have no clue what it was but it has never happened again so chanced are ul be fine and dandy Grin

MrsAVB rant away... you deserve to be annoyed by all that. deep breath, Wine and chocolate!

well I saw my nephew this afternoon. he is 6m old and oh so very cute. but I can't help the pangs of jealousy every time I see him. luckily I don't have any friends who are pg atm. my friend I work with is back from maternity leave tomorrow so feeling very sorry for her tonight.

until tomorrow folks x

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 21/04/2013 22:36

cookie glad you're okay(ish) - but make sure you get plenty of rest, eh?
Okay, I need a hooya - I'm pretty sure I ov'd really early this cycle (last weekend, CDs 9/10 (is that possible? I finished ERTD on CD 5/6 - but all the signs were there, rampantly horny, EWCM, etc etc) and we DTD plenty. So, last night we were DTD rather vigorously and there was a little pinky red spotting when I peed afterwards. Today I have had lower tummy pains/cramps/aches and been acutely aware of smell.
I know I am symptom spotting, aren't I?

Minion · 22/04/2013 07:19

humpty if you need a hooya, I sure as hell do too, so anyone out there generous to give 2 pathetic women a double hooya?
Please?
Fx crossed for you x

coffeewineandchocolate · 22/04/2013 09:10

Well I'm out this month- ertd arrived a day early. Not surprised as i had horrific pmt (dh was fearful of his life and gave me a lie in yesterday and cleaned the house in the hope i wouldn't murder him in his sleep) and my boobs increased by 2 bra sizes. Prob for the best-if i was preg my due date would have been new years day!

MrsAVB · 22/04/2013 09:12

to you both, humpty and minion! Although I may need one back, boobs are definitely feeling bigger, tummy twingy, back achy, turning into grumpy old woman, mouth ulcers. Although these could all be PMT or that I am a grumpy old woman.
Isn't someone peeing today?
Have a good Monday everyone
X

MrsAVB · 22/04/2013 09:13

Sorry coffee Sad xxx

Minion · 22/04/2013 09:39

Aww coffee sorry about that.
No synchro pee scheduled for me just yet. My gold medal pee is due next week, I like to bring on an air of anticipation.
Though I'm not sure it's going to be entirely necessary, the weird dull cramp is still there, backache has lessened and the twins aren't tingling as much. This time last month they ballooned up so large I resembled lolo Ferrari.
Gah. Reckon I'm probably out too in all honesty.
But you know what they say, it ain't over till the fat evil hag woman 'sings'.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 22/04/2013 10:11

coffee awww, poor you love. Glad DH saved himself from execution (mainly cos it would be harder to JS without him... Grin) and hopefully made you feel better?
Mrs AVB thanks - and here's one for you, with fx (so gently, as I think a hooya with crossed fingers would hurt more). When are you due to POAS?
Minion when are you due to POAS? I'm not due ERTD until 3/4th May, but luckily on hols from Weds til then, so 2WW will be easier.
So, last night Mr Humpty was reading his two new books ('What to Expect before You're Expecting' and 'Pregnancy for Dads') and he comes sprinting into the bedroom shouting 'Darling, we've been doing it wrong. You only ovulate for 12-24 hours. There are sticks you can pee on! We must buy some!' I was like ----> Hmm and Grin. I then explained the POAS/PIAR/PIAWPP acronyms to him, and he says he's going to buy me a special ramekin, just for my wee. Who says romance ain't dead? Wink

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 22/04/2013 10:15

Also, keep meaning to answer whoever asked ages - I'm 32.

Minion · 22/04/2013 10:42

ERTD ETA is the 30th. So just a while yet. Been driving myself crazy with the symptoms though. Does anyone else get permanent cramps from the day they OV? They just will not do one. They aren't painful like pp cramps, just dull enough for me to be aware of them.
I'll be furious if this is a long term feature of PMS for me. Grrrr.
I seem to be the walking textbook of PMS symptoms. Sign me up for backaches, cramps, tingly boobs, OV pain and spots... It's almost like 'well minion hasn't had a real period for 15 years so let bung 'em all her way'.
And grrr again for good measure.

MrsAVB · 22/04/2013 11:04

Am going to POAS next Tuesday I think. Am currently CD22 and my last cycle was 25 days, but the 1 before that 34, so who knows when I ov'd. I think it's unlikely I'm pg this month though as we decided to stop dtd on cd16 when I found out I have an interview...
Mr humpty's book reading sounds Hmm, but it's lovely he wants to be informed! As long as he doesn't develop an interest in pant snot. That would be toooooo far!
X

MrsAVB · 22/04/2013 11:15

X posted with you minion... Sorry to hear about your grr BFP (not AF Grin symptoms, I find hot water bottles chocolate, and loud ranting about the hardship of being a woman helps.
To add to my list (and probably demanding a big hooya): yesterday I was forced by my body to buy a vienetta and eat a quarter of it. And last night I had a very vivid dream about being blackmailed by a sexy man into being a money launderer for a nasty criminal gang.
X

essie81 · 22/04/2013 13:27

oooh MrsAVB, I had a weird guns/mafia/crime type dream last night too, no sexy men in it though. Hmm

So, we're moved! Woo! I am almost blind with exhaustion. Previous to this move I'd only ever lived in house shares so had never had to move a whole house worth of stuff. How the hell do people do it when they have dcs?! Totally worth it though, new house is ultra amazing and I love it. Grin

Sadly though, christening the rooms will have ti wait as evil ugly hag ERTD was at the new house waiting for me. Wasn't expecting her til today but better early than waiting around for her to arrive surrounded by bfns I guess. Also, had terrible period pain and headache this time which I haven't had since coming off the pill, but seems everything is properly getting back to normal now! Joy!

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. When internet gets hooked up at home I'll be able to read and post on the same page but on crap phone at the mo.

Love to all xx

MrsAVB · 22/04/2013 16:18

Congrats on the move, and commiserations on ERTD essie! Sounds like mafia men dreams are not a pg symptom if you have ERTD, maybe the sexy man element is the key one?
X

cookielove · 22/04/2013 20:04

Hello hello hello Smile

humpty dh has just taken an extra interest in this to. He keeps telling me things I already know, but I don't want to discourage him so I try sound very interested and smile lots Wink

He's also been commenting in my baby shows Shock

essie congrats on the move Grin worse part about moving is the packing. We moved into a 1st floor flat 2 years ago on one of the hottest days of the year. God I hated those stairs! !!

I am in cd30 with no signs of ertd, need a hooya as I am starting to feel hopeful Smile
