Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
   
2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
   
3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly opk's or temp charting. They are Contraband

Well, apart from the above I've got some twisty cramps in my back and pelvic area but I normally get Ertd first and then cramps a day or two later. By day 4 I'm begging for mercy usually. Think I'm just going to have to wait this one out!

As suspected insanity has clearly come a knockin'. I did a third one and there's no line now. Must have been evaporation. Still no Ertd though secretly crosses anything that can be crossed

Okay so I think Ttc has finally driven me crazy. I just did a Poas and thought I saw a line, but then I don't think it is. It's where a line should be if that makes sense. It's so faint that only my crazed beady eyes can see it. Before anyone gets excited, including me, I think it's an evaporation line. Ertd due yesterday and the MF is AWOL. I keep pant checking but nothing. I have had some cramps and usual Ertd fartiness. (Sorry). Boobs felt bigger the other day but now not so sure. I even took tampons to work today convinced it would happen but got and have been getting pant snot instead. Not sure what to make of it all really. Oh yes and I tried two tests and they both seemed to do the same thing. My gut says no. My furry little heart is hoping for a yes. Ooo err. It may have to be one massive Pp ( pity party) everyone!

Ooh interesting. That means if you DTD on day of OV pains then its too late. Shoot! That's my very slim chances completely buggered for this month.

I only used them the once for a few days last cycle as I was getting neurotic that I wasn't ovving, and first couple of days, no line, then started to get a bit of pant snot, so peed again, massive dark line, then next day had ov pains and peed again, still darkish line, but not as dark as day before. So I'd say yes, cos on the pack it says dark line means you will ov in next 24-48 hours, which in my case was right.

Does that fact I broke the rules mean I can't have cake?!

Continuing the LP discussion, I haven't used contraband thus far but presumably they are pretty accurate?

I have one internet cheapie pee stick left, but I'm not bringing that to your party as I'm so sure I don't need it this cycle. I've decided I'm saving it and using it to get a BFP at some point in the future. I have to be TOTALLY sure I'm upduffed before I am allowed to pee on it.

ERTD due on Sat and we are going to a wedding. At least I can get totally smashed drunk.

Rock - that's how my first pregnancy started!!! Exciting!!

Luteal phase is useful to know because if its too short then you can ask the doc to test your bloods and see if something like low progesterone is causing it. I know when I OV because I get a day of cramping, and the doc still tells me that every person has a two week OV pain. How she can explain the cramping I get on day 18 every month I don't know!!

Cookie exactly like Bear said, LP is the time from ovulation to ERTD. Basically it can take up to 10 days for fertilised egg to implant so if it hasn't already implanted when ERTD arrives it'll all get flushed away - if your LP is short there's more chance of this happening. Doesn't mean you can't get upduffed though as implantation can only take a few days but obviously it means it can take longer to get pregnant.

Well, I seem to be having more pant snot than I've ever seen, so hoping my body has decided it'd actually be quite nice to have another baby :) Mmmm, I'll come to the pity party if there's Chinese and - DH prefers Indian although I usually get my own way

Cookie- I'm not really sure either as the sites I've looked on say you either need a blood test or to do temping to be exactly sure when it is. But if you use contraband your cycle length to guess work it out accurately then it's the length of time between I've and start of your period. So I guess you can estimate but then lots of folks are saying there's is less than 14 days. Without temping, bloods or contraband or really strong symptoms (pant snot and ov pain) I don't know how you'd work it out. Any ideas anyone?
