Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly opk's or temp charting. They are Contraband

Happy shagging shaggers

Even DH likes the Boob (well, and boobs generally, but that's another story), and has given me "permission" to boff him should the opportunity arise. I think graham norton is normally repeated the following Thursday? But I might be wrong.
bear have you peed again lately? I mean on a stick, am not checking your toilet habits.
lil1ady hope you had a good night out! I am off mon/ tues this week too, it's nice not to have the usual Sunday night blues. Do you have anything nice planned for your birthday?
essie glad the packing is going well! I have the village recorded but haven't started watching it yet so no spoilers!
Am still at my parents and my mum is doing much better than expected, which is a real relief. Although tomorrow she is going to direct me in a big spring clean as she's getting frustrated with the house not being up to its normal clean standard. Can't wait Hmm.
rockchick still sending love xxxx
Hope everyone's had a lovely weekend xxx

Ladies I'm having a bit of a wibble.
So and sorry ifs it's that blah but need to ask... My app says I'm due to ovulate tomorrow, but work have very kindly put me on a 16 hr shift tomorrow, meaning I won't get one till about 11:45pm. At that point I don't even want to speak to the husband as I've been answering questions, dogs-bodying and slaving away since the early morn. So we've been JSing at every opportunity because of the explosions of hormones currently going on, but we didn't JS this morning before he went to work. So, if I manage to get him in the mood tonight (after broadchurch natch) do you think that will be at all helpful to the cause?
I also plan on JSing weds morning if I can get up that early just in case.

Also with ovulation, do any of you get the twinges and bloating. Had them the day before yesterday with not much Sunday. Can feel it happening slightly today so hoping that it copies last month and I get that crippling pp like cramp which indicates I am OV'ing indeed.

Head mash much?

Wibble wibble wibble.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 15/04/2013 10:30

MORNING!
Me and Mr Humpty managed to DTD twice on Sat and twice on Sunday! This is the most in a weekend since we were first going out compared to usual. Also, I think I ov'd on Sunday (CD10) - loads of EWCM Blush and I was, ahem... definitely in the mood...

bear - any news?? By my calculations you are now CD33? Any ERTD signs? Also, I totally agree with you on the IVF. It's always people who've got two kids who think it's unnecessary. It's not.

Minion - swimmers can live for up to 5 days in the uterus, so although it helps to DTD on the day of ov, it's not the end of the world to go for it before, and after and once more for luck.

essie - I don't think I ov'd last month either, although ERTD was so late I thought it might be a bfp! No EWCM, no cramps, and no hormone zits. This month, however... massive throbbing spot on my upper lip [sexy emoticon], had cramps and stabby pains on Sat & Sun, loads of EWCM. Stupid bloody body, just behave. How are you settling into the new house? Have you christened all the rooms? Wink

lil - hello! What are you planning for your birthday tomorrow?

MrsAVB glad your ma is feeling better, although the spring clean directing does not sound fun. My DH and I often talk about who we are 'allowed' to boff. I am allowed Paul Hollywood, and Chris Evans (Captain America, not the ginge). He is allowed 'anyone who would make a good lesbian', which does NOT include Myleene Klass or Rachel Khoo. I have standards in my imaginary rivals, you know!

cookie have you ERTD'd yet? Don't go to the dark side!

Quark well done on the lbs loss - I wish I had some willpower/fewer sweets in my desk drawer. How are the symptoms?

Red you don't have to DTD on ov day (although obviously it might be helpful Grin), so fx for you.

coffee I am with you on the coffee. I cannot imagine not having a latte on the way to work every day. How was your night out?

Phew! I think that's everyone. I actually wrote notes to myself over the last three pages of catching up, so I hope I didn't miss anyone. Have a lovely Monday!

essie81 · 15/04/2013 11:02

Wow Humpty twice a day, two days running! I bow down to your horniness! Grin

We haven't moved yet, next Saturday is the big day, still in the midst of packing and dismantling stuff and we are both trashed but it will be worth it when we get there and can get to work christening the rooms unpacking and settling in.

MrsAVB, glad to hear your Mum is doing so well, good luck with the big clean.

Minion sounds like you are doing well with the jsing despite having so much on. MrsAVB so the swimmers can live for up to 5 days and does the egg last for 24-48 hours? It all confuses me too.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow lil!

Hope everyone has a good week x

coffeewineandchocolate · 15/04/2013 12:18

Hi Humpty. Good to hear the jsing went well for you. Night it was rubbish and had left me feeling pretty down. Friend got really drunk and ended up spoiling the night by going on self destruct. I wish i had saved my money and gone to a hotel myself for a spa day.

Feel like I'm on the count down now to ertd. Fertile days are over and i don't think we will be successful this month. I def need to cheer myself up somehow tho :-(

essie81 · 15/04/2013 12:40

Sorry to hear that coffee, what a shame your friend ruined the night by getting smashed! Hate it when a (rare) night out is a total let down.

Know how you feel about being on countdown, I feel exactly the same this cycle too. Probably won't even waste a pee stick cos I know whats coming! Still its not over til the ERTD lady sings! xx

essie81 · 15/04/2013 12:50

Stupid question alert!...

Do our ovaries alternate, so one month the left one ovvs, then the next month the right one and so on???..... how does your body know which ovary's 'turn' it is?

Minion · 15/04/2013 13:26

Definitely OV'ing. The dreaded backache has returned.
Can sort of feel boobs tingling and bloated!
Woe is bloody me. The things we do eh?
essie I'm not sure, but interested to know too.

Bearface · 15/04/2013 16:13

Hello All,

Well, ERTD got me. Sad DH and I got a little bit excited and bought a digital test, but alas, it wasn't meant to be this time. ERTD arrived properly this am. Big boo. Nevermind. I ovulate practically as soon as ERTD is over so not much waiting around for me.

Essie, I've read that the egg only lasts 12-24 hours, but then other posters on other threads have said their doctor has said up to 36 hours, so I don't know which one is right. It could be another of those manygrey areas with fertility where it varies from person to person.

As for ovaries, I think it is pretty much random, but apparently there is a lymph gland you can feel in the groin area above your ovary which swells when you are about to ovulate. Apparently some people can feel it, but I can't because of all the fat. I can feel when I am ovulating. I have a mild discomfort that is not at all like period pain.

Coffee - sorry you had a bad night. It's really annoying when that happens. There are some people who are really badly affected by drink, so I avoid going drinking with those people, but I guess that isn't always possible.

Hi to everyone else!

lil1ady · 15/04/2013 16:35

Hi everyone.

bear I watched the Boob last night...I'm so in love! was it just me or was Amanda Holden touching his leg every other minute?! Not that I'm ridiculously stark raving bonkersly jealous or anything! Blush

And sorry ertd got u. at least the waiting is over and onto a new cycle. and you can have Wine without feeling guilty Grin

Hope the packing is starting to get there Essie. I want to move house until I remember how stressful it is! can't move anyway as dh recently started his own business so would be too risky atm.

I think ov does alternate but not as systematically as taking it on turns, so u could go left twice in a row. not sure if I'm right on that tho.

cookie I am swooning with you. dh has just bought me the new album so um listening to it now and continuing to swoon Smile

mrsavb night out was good thanks. nice to get out of the house for a change. loving not being at work today, although they have already phoned about something! but haven't really dine much except going for lunch with dh. going for a meal with friends tomorrow night to celebrate and going for a cream tea and bit of shopping with my mum in the day so hopefully a nice chilled day.

glad to hear Ur mum is improving. always a good sign when the cleaning is brought up! I had to move home for 5 weeks to look after my mum and my little brothers a few years back when mum had an operation on her inner ear and couldn't move cos of the balance issues. so I feel your frustrations, its nice to be able to be their for them but nice to get back to your own routine!

Hi minion...don't want to miss you out but think your question has been answered and I concur!

omg Humpty twice two days running... what r u energiser bunnies! until we were TTC we were on a roll if we were having twice a week! hats off to you. the world is backward if u don't get Ur bfp this cycle!

coffee chin up and stay positive. its not over yet! here have someWine

phew. think that covers everyone...must check in more often to keep up!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 15/04/2013 17:29

essie good luck with the actual move then - will be thinking of you christening the rooms

coffee that sucks - I have so many (ex-)friends like that. Such a drama, and so bloody selfish. Save it for the therapists, friends! Can you do a home spa day? Places like cheap smells and half price perfumes do cheapo spa products? I love La Roche Posay hydrating mask, meself dry skin like a walrus.

Minion you need Brew and hot water bottle and your SHAG CAPE if it's ov pains!

bear DOWN WITH ERTD - I feel your disappointment lovely. I had it about a week and a half ago. Was SO SURE, then bloody witch came. I hate her.

lil and essie I don't know about alternating, but I am sure left ovary (which I have tentatively named Terence) popped one out this time round. I had much higher up light period-type cramps on that side this month, followed by gallons of EWCM [babywipe emoticon] Blush, but dunno about alternation. Maybe it's like hot and cold taps - if so, and this one is a good egg Grin, I hope left is for girls/hot water...

As for the twice a day for two days - this is most unusual for us. Twice a week is good going - what with Mr Humpty being at work till 11 some nights, and me teaching some evenings, it's hard to put the cape on often enough. This is the first month Mr H has mentioned shagging around ov dates though - he's not asked when I ov before, nor have we discussed tactical shagging until now, but I think the rage crying over my last ERTD when I thought it was late for a good reason has alerted him to the levels of broodiness... Poor love, he said his balls were hurting by Sunday night Blush. Still, gift horses and all...

Have a nice evening all.

coffeewineandchocolate · 15/04/2013 19:23

Hi Humpty. The home spa idea is a good one- i may dig out my lotions and potions. She is a great friend who has been there for me on the past. She has had a rough 18 months- had a baby, discovered dp is an emotionally abusive twat etc. they split up but she isn't over him and still allows him to manipulate her for his own benefit. They aren't together but are 'friends' (when it suits him).

She knows what i think and knows herself she needs to get some distance from him but if shebehind to distance herself he becomes nasty and its very draining. I think on sat all get insecurities and unhappiness just came pouring out :-(

MrsAVB · 15/04/2013 20:36

I think I must have Boob radar, he was just on the one show too... Aah lovely Boob.
Today I have: cleaned, dusted and hoovered 3 bedrooms, cleaned bathroom, cleaned, dusted and hoovered dining room, living room, hall, stairs, washed kitchen floor, made 4 batches soup, 4 batches bolognaise, 4 batches chicken and broccoli, washed and wiped up, sorted recycling. Am shattered and am hoping the BFP fairy takes all this into account at the end of the month!
Essie and minion I have no idea re. ovulating. I've never noticed any differences/ pains during the times I've meant to be ovulated, but I am a very lazy ttc-er and don't really pay much attention, especially to pant snot type stuff. Maybe I should start being more vigilant, although I know I have ovulated, and presumably still am, because I've miscarried. My app says tomorrow is ov day which is annoying but also unlikely that my stupid app has the date right, as I've been away for 4 days and won't be back til late tomorrow CAPE TIME.
Lol at "tactical shagging" humpty, and congrats on the epic shagging, you should be proud! We have an "allowed to boff" list too, although I'm not sure about Paul Hollywood and Chris Evans, so, in the event that either of them darken this board, I'll "let" you have them Grin, too kind? Moi?
essie glad the packing is going well!
coffee sorry you had a bad night out, it's so annoying when one person ruins it. Hope you have found something to cheer you up and DH is looking after you.
bear sorry ERTD got you, bitch!
lil it wasn't you, Amanda Holden was being a letchTAKE YOUR DIRTY HANDS OFF MY BOOB. She kept on interrupting jack dee too, when she was the least interesting person there. I think it's always weird and hard when you have to look after your mum...but I have a lot more hope now than before I came this time that it will be short term rather than forever!
Hope everyone's had a good day... Xxx

cookielove · 15/04/2013 20:47

Hello all Smile

Rock thinking of you.

bear I was really thinking it was the month for you Sad ertd got you.

humpty dtd that much would tire me out Blush also no ERTD but looked at my dates today and I am only cd 20, in thinking I'd wait to Cd 40 before l Would test assuming ERTD doesn't show Up before. Just have a feeling this month is a no go.

Although saying that I've been feeling rather odd the last couple of days.

Essie I have absolutely no clue about What happens during any of the making babies malarky Blush

Coffee everyone needs a Spa day!

Lillady have you seen the old Graham Norton when buble talks about meeting his wife it's a) So funny b) hilarous Grin

Minion it's not over till it's over!!

cookielove · 15/04/2013 20:49

MrsAVB Wowsers can you come to mine!! Grin

MrsAVB · 16/04/2013 08:22

Happy birthday lil, hope you have a fab day! Xxx
So this morning I have woken up with about 10 spots, was very hot overnight, and have a twingy pain on the right side of my tummy. All could be related to excessive hoovering and dirt on my face yesterday but I may need a hooya...
cookie, my own house is a tip, and will probably look even more so after this week's cleaning at mum's. Unless DH has done anything apart from sit on the sofa watching sport and eating pork pies while I've been away. Sigh... Home today though and can't wait to see him...
Xxxx

lil1ady · 16/04/2013 09:39

Thanks mrsavb have had breakfast and a cuppa in bed and off out to see my mum shortly for a cream tea, lovely. however work have already phoned about something that could really have waited until I'm back on Thursday! at least it was a friend today and not one of the bosses like yesterday!

cookielove · 16/04/2013 10:03

Been to the doctors this morning, for a whole huge list of things, the main worry one is that he thinks i may have a ovarian cyst although he did say it wouldn't effect me conceiving so i won't spend to much time thinking about it and just wait to see what the ultrasound results say!!

Happy Birthday lil i hear people born in April are fabulous Wink

MrsAVB · 16/04/2013 10:14

Ohh... People born in April are definitely fabulous Wink

MrsAVB · 16/04/2013 10:16

Sorry, got overwhelmed by fabulousness and didn't say: cookie sorry to hear about your possible cyst, that must be worrying. Will you have to wait long for the scan? Xxx

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 16/04/2013 11:40

lil Happy Birthday! Enjoy your cream tea, and ignore pooey old work, it's your day off!

MrsAVB here's a v gentle hooya for you, but also fx.

rock still thinking of you you - hope you're okay.

cookie when will you have the ultrasound? Is it painful. Poor lovely you, that's horrid. Are you having a restful day? Sounds like you need it.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 16/04/2013 11:56

Should I start a new Fred? This one has got quite long... What's everyone reckon?

Rockchick1984 · 16/04/2013 12:46

Hi all, I'm still here loitering around quietly.

Bear sorry ERTD got you. Good luck chasing the referral - pretty confident you will get upduffed the second your letter arrives with the appointment!

Cookie I had an ovarian cyst when pregnant with DS - I was told nothing to worry about and it just disappeared of its own accord.

Humpty (I think..on phone so trying to remember who posted what!) Paul Hollywood is on my list too, as is Thor - don't particularly like him in real life, he needs the long hair and sexy outfit to really do it for me Grin

MrsAVB HOOYA but also fingers crossed - my only pregnancy sign was excess gas - lovely and ladylike :)

Apologies everyone I've missed, hope you are all doing ok.

Well, we tried to get back to JSing last night but it was very painful - not sure if that was because of the ERPC or due to me being nervous I did not start singing Like A Virgin in my head just now, honest so looks like we need to give it a few more days. I'm still getting +ive pregnancy tests so can't see me getting upduffed again any time soon.

OP posts:
MrsAVB · 16/04/2013 13:38

Hi rock, lovely to have you back, have been thinking of you. When I've mced it's taken me 3 or 4 weeks to get back to boffing, even when it's been early and not painful there's been something that has made me just want to curl up and protect my lady bits!
humpty and rock thanks for the hooyas!
Xxx

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 16/04/2013 13:45

Hey rock good to see you. Sorry you're in pain, that's horrible, you poor love. You clearly need a packet of chocolate biscuit and a DVD of Thor to cheer you up.
