Thanks Trace - have skim read the first bit about husbands trembling...doesn't sound too good...sounds like there are LOTS of side effects doesn't it?!

I have printed the rest off so I shall read it and see if it mentions wine anywhere!

Also noticed that this is the companion pillow site isn't it?!
Have you been looking at that?!! Wink

coggy · 27/04/2006 21:50

Trace.....I am here nearly in tears..(a side effect already she asks?!)
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pleased to read that it sorts out LPD..I can't believe it. Grin Grin Grin
I KNEW that was what had happened before but to see it written down makes me even more positive about going on it.
Thank you for this info.......it is fab!

Weird how the suggested days are so different isn't it?
Are you taking 50mg to start with?
It also says about a hcg which is my injectuon and that most people don't do this, so that explains why you are just bloods done.

It also says.....my new clomid Bible(!) that you can use OPKs with clomid although I thought you couldn't?

So much to learn.........Wink

trace2 · 27/04/2006 21:51

lol yes i gave my secert awayWink

my friend took it and had no side effects at all, good luck, we might catch on together.
going to bed now, chat soon

trace2 · 27/04/2006 21:55

yes, i think this is a good read too, and it also looks like i have a short luterl phase too, as i ovulated on day 14, which means that it short (10 or less days after ovu), which stops the eggs getting mature

coggy · 27/04/2006 21:56

Okay...speak soon.

coggy · 27/04/2006 21:57

.....you with the wipe-clean cover Grin !!

trace2 · 27/04/2006 21:58

oh forgot to say am getting some pre-seed as we may need this as it drys up cm

coggy · 27/04/2006 22:01

I thought that too....honestly I did..I'm not just copying!!

Didn't know if it was worth it before but after reading those notes I decided it would be for three months.

Do you have a web page for it?
There a thread somewhere here that I posted my very limited knowledge on ages ago...I will search it out!

coggy · 27/04/2006 22:23

Trace - I expect you have gone...but just to let you know I have order some preseed from access diagnostic. It seemed to be the cheapest (I'm not on eBAY) and the site that has been recommended on MN a few times. HTH.

Does having three messages in a row mean that I am REALLY addicted? I must get out more!

Wannabe good luck for today at Drs hoping you get some answers.

wannaBe1974 · 28/04/2006 10:14

morning all :).

Well have just got back from gp, and ...

I told her about all simptoms, about the spotting I had which didn't amount to anything, about my spots and nausia and general emotional miserableness, but also told her that I'd done two tests and that they were both bfn. and she replied that I need to wait another two weeks and then do another test and that if that is bfn she will "eat my hat". So I asked outright if she thinks then that I am pg, to which she replied that I know my body, and that all the simptoms point to it yes. She then told me that she had actually not got a bfp with her second pg until she was 11 weeks, even though she knew she was pregnant. She said that hpt's aren't as reliable as the packets suggest, they claim to be 98% accurate on the day of missed af, whereas she said it's more like two weeks after, also that she's lost count of the number of people coming in saying they've got simptoms and hpt says no.

so, I'm not putting my heart on this but I still live in hope :)

trace2 · 28/04/2006 10:19

oh wannabe i hope it all turns out for you, i have avoided posting, to you because i beleive you are pg, so good luck

trace2 · 28/04/2006 10:20

i didnt want to get your hopes up, but i have still posted anyway

wannaBe1974 · 28/04/2006 10:34

thanks trace :) ((hugs))

coggy · 28/04/2006 11:14

Oh, oh, oh......I'm liking the sound of this more and more :)

I really do hope so. x

Debbsy · 28/04/2006 11:56

I didnt want to say anything either, Wannabe but i really think you are too, its just a feeling, you have been in my thoughts all week and will continue to be until you get your answer. :)

wannaBe1974 · 28/04/2006 12:02

aw thank you debsie (((hugs)))

I'm still being very cautious not to get excited. DH is pretty much saying "well gp wouldn't get your hopes up unnecessarily if she didn't think so", but I'm erring on the side of caution, I'm not going to think of myself as pg until i have a bfp test in my hand. On the plus side though, the longer I have to wait for my result, means that it's a shorter period of time that I have to hold off telling people. but I keep saying to myself "I'm not pregnant I'm not pregnant I'm not pregnant", because if I tell myself I am pregnant then if the test is bfn in two weeks then the disappointment will be that much greater - am I rambling now?

Debbsy · 28/04/2006 12:37

i know what you mean even when i did my test and got a bfp i still sat there looking at the digital test expecting it to go to not pregnant then i still did 4 more.Drs dont normally commit themselves unless there is some reason too do they so agree with your dh,ooh this means you will be on the dec thread with me.What tests have you been using?if i take a while to reply its because im working from home and am in thr middle of a drug tender.

peachygirl · 28/04/2006 13:05

wannabe I was out late at the opera - at the Royal Opera house (ooh get her!!) last night and didn't get a chance to post but I was thinking of you and I'm glad it sort of went well. Fingers crossed here for you.

NatalieJane · 28/04/2006 13:06

Sorry to hi-jack, but wanted to point you in the direction of the chat thread Peachy. :)

laughalot · 28/04/2006 14:05

Hi ladies cd24 update sore boobies have gone I think iv been amking symptoms up in my head im gutted.

wannaBe1974 · 28/04/2006 14:32

Hiya again all :)

Lota if your sore boobs have disappeared and af still hasn't showed then this could be a positive thing in itself. A lot of people don't have the sore boobs with their 2nd pregnancy that they had with their first, and even if they do, often the soreness doesn't start to happen till a couple of weeks into the pregnancy. It could be that your body was preparing itself for Af and that an embrio has now implanted and halted that process. I've always had sore boobs before af was due to arrive, and almost every month I've convinced myself that I must be pregnant, and every month af has arrived, this month I didn't get any sore boobs, nothing happened, so I convinced myself that I must not be pregnant and that af must be going to be incredibly late. Now it seems there's a chance I could be pregnant although I'm being very cautious about thinking that, but just remember that our bodies seldom behave in exactly the way we think they will. good luck x
