I hope nobody else has started a May conception thread; April isn't going to be it for me, so onwards and forwards ladies!

i came back on 28th, and if no af i will be late, so i can then test on 29th

No I don't temp...I did when we first started taking ttc seriously but it was so affected by drinking the night before etc. that I got fed up with it.

I guess the message there would be.....don't drink....but hey??!!

well thought I'd just pop on and say hi and let you know that ... af arrived over the weekend! proper af this time, no discharges etc, just af as it should be! It's only 5 weeks late ... lol.

Anyway just wanted to give an update :).

I'm actually not upset as knew I wasn't pg after all the tests etc,am still waiting for my thyroid result and then hopefully they can do some further research and findo ut what's wrong. Have pretty much given up on ttc after this experience as is really impossible to be ttc when you don't even know when/if af is going to arrive.

Anyway just wanted to update :)

Sorry to hear that Trace. I am STILL here ... and I don't know whether AF ought to have started on Thurs / Fri (days 28/29) as it did when on the pill or whether I have reverted to my very erratic cycle. DH and I did succumb to buying ClearBlue yesterday but when I read the leaflet it said to allow for the longest stretch of your irregular cycle. I managed to find some old diaries and established that in the 16 months prior to going on the pill I had anything from 23 days to 35 days, averaging at 24 days so I just don't know. Taking this into consideration we thought maybe we'd test on Thurs which will be day 35 if AF hasn't arrived yet. Am sure that my boobs are a lot more sensitive (and DH is convinced they look bigger - ever hopeful!!!) ... but maybe I am just making myself believe it. I hate the suspense and am trying to tell myself that it couldn't possibly have happened first try, but yet want it to be true too!
