I hope nobody else has started a May conception thread; April isn't going to be it for me, so onwards and forwards ladies!

Actually - probably the same for me.
I start clomid next month and so have kind of 'given up' this month!!

Skerriesmum: which CD are you on? I'm on CD4. Trying to eat loads of FA & get lots of fresh air, exercise and sleep.

Hi! I'm on day 4 as well! Will be bding like crazy just after Easter. But we'll also be moving house at the end of the month, so not sure if this will be it for us!
I was a little sad to think that it's going to be next year... and I'll definitely be 36...

Yeah, but no Christmas/birthday situations. My Uncle's birthday was on Christmas Day, and my Grandma moved it to May just to solve the problem.

Of course, a l'il Christmas bundle would have been wonderful, but our maybe-January ones will be great too!

Hi everyone, I can finally join a conception thread! I have been watching in the wings for some time, but am going to start trying for a second baby in May.

Am already doing all the preparation, taking Pregnacare tablets and went to see a nutritionist yesterday for advice on my diet. Just a few weeks now and I can throw away my contraception!

but all this planning is new to me cd and pther abbrevieations threw me at first but i am looking forward being on here sharing experiences and hoping that we are all pregnant soon.
my cd-28 will be 5th may
although my last cycle lasted 30 days.

Weird to think that there could soon be january babies in the making Hopecat - what a nice thought (not the making.....the babies....well our own making will be nice I hope....) oh dear - it's all going a bit wrong!

HI all you early birds! just want to welcome new ladies and to tell you to feel free to post on the april thread even though you are looking to the future, there is also a chat thread which is busy in the week, for that chatter which is TTC concerned and not... subjects have included, moving house, new kitchens, dogs, husbands etc etc.
It seems it is also a good place to be if you do get lucky but don't feel ready for the antenatal bords, a sort of halfway house!

Hi Relax & Mummy2jake. Lots of us on this thread already. Surely that means that AT LEAST one of us will HAVE to get PG this time.

mummy2jake - I found all the acronyms a total mystery when I joined (only a couple of weeks ago), but the acronym list at the top explains them all.

I'm on CD5 now. Have decided to practise yoga later, and do it every day, so that if I get PG I'll have slightly more toned guts.

Think I've seen you when lurking around the chat threads.

The more of us there are, the better the odds of a BFP i reckon.

Anyway, promised myself I wouldn't come on MN except morning and evening, and here I am at lunchtime.

Have horrendous amount to do - I work from home - and it's not getting done. That's why I don't join the chat threads.

I'll pop in again this evening.

Hi hopecat im on cd6 so should expect my af around the 8th may however last month was my first month of the pill and my cycle was 35 days so not sure what my body will do this month hopefully ill be pg. Sorry to be so blunt but what are your statistics then Grin

I'm on CD6 too! Although I usually have a 27 day cycle, so I'll be a bit earlier. (If I'm not PG).

Madrose that name is wicked, what tips did the consultant give you then ? When I was ttc with my ds we just said if it happens it happens but now I am desperate for another.

No tips as such - have sex! my DD was conceived using IUI, She's 13 months now and we've been trying for the last 6 months - not long I know - but age is against me, and last time i was referred it took a year to find the right day in my cycle to match with hosiptal visits, and this after two years of if it happens it happens, four years of really trying, two years of tests to find that there was nowt wrong!!

Consultant said if i were a few years younger, whe would tell me to go away and 'have fun' but luckily she understands the time issue and how long it all takes. Who knows nature can still kick in.

Name is a short version of DD Grin

Hi madrose: welcome to the Hope thread.

Swore I wouldnt post - or check - for the rest of the day, but this site is like a drug.

Think It's because I spent a year and a quarter not being able to talk about it to anybody. Finding other people who are as interested as I am is such a tonic!

Anyway, I got loads done in the last 2 hours.

We definitely are in the same mess laughalot. Could be worse though. Lots of BDing on holiday with my hunky DH. Grin

This is VERY addictive...I keep telling dh that I'm going to the loo so I can have a look at what's going on! He's going suggest the doctors soon I'm sure!! Blush
