I hope nobody else has started a May conception thread; April isn't going to be it for me, so onwards and forwards ladies!

it's possible that if you had an eratic cycle before you went on the pill this might become eratic again when you stop taking it. the pill regulates your cycle because of the hormones, and when you stop taking it you have a withdrawal bleed, and obviously if you go on to take the next packet the cycle starts over again .. iyswim?

Tbh, I would wait till the longest day, i.e. if your cycle was 35 days before, then wait till cd35 or longer if you can. If you're not pg, it's likely that your af will arrive and you will be spared the disappointment of a bfn and the added frustration of waiting for your af to arrive. if you are pg, then your af won't arrive, and you'll still be pg on cd35 or longer, and the chances of getting a bfp will be increased because the hormone amounts will be stronger by then. good luck xx

WOW! Our 3rd wedding anniversary is on 31 January so we might get something a lot more exciting (and demanding) than leather which I think is for the 3rd anniversary!

mummy2jake from the June thread has just had a BFP and should be due a few days after you, so that's two of you.

I had a weird hpt experience this morning. (See June thread for details). Not too hopeful, but there is a slim chance I could be joining you...

congrats to all who are getting positives and hang on in there to the rest of us

am going to docs later as have sickness pretty constant, funny headaches, still achy breasts & had on / off cramps. mirena out on 25 apr, think ovulation should have been approx 6-13 may. worked at the project a lot in tht time.

I guess am just getting hopes up tho hey, no way of working out what cycle is up to this month. i think my af would have been 22 april if mirena hadn't been in, and was 28-33 day cycle before mirena.

do you think doctor will do a blood test for me?
