I understand that for a chap to 'reach a conclusion' when having sex is a purely mechanical exercise, rather than mental like I find it too be. So they can just shut up and get on with it.

Hey! How is everyone today? All ready for xmas? I?m at future-MILs ? and VERY bored

Quod - PGD = pre-genetic diagnosis ? I?ve got a balanced translocation on my chromosomes which is the probable cause of my mcs ? we?re investigating whether or not this would be worth doing ? but it seems like the no of mcs I?ve had are not consistent with the odds for that translocation, so we?re going to make sure there?s nothing else wrong before (potentially) forking out a ton of cash on IVF

Know what you mean re dtd around ov time ? fortunately my OH, having had it all explained to him, is now v obliging around that time and takes his part of the ?job? very seriously!! Hmm, interested in this pre-seed/conceive lube plus stuff?may have to do some googling ? can you buy it in boots or somewhere? (no time to get online ? off overseas for 4 months right after xmas)

Have taken the liberty of adding to the list. Have retained the fact that I have PCOS- someone reading the thread who has PCOS may take heart from the fact that one can have a BFP with PCOS (even if this ends badly). Plus I don't want to forget quite so soon and get too hopeful.

Putting this out there in case it helps anyone-
FWIW, I tried the CBFM and the cheapie ovulation strips off amazon, and the cheapie ones worked a treat.
I also think conceive plus really helped.
And metformin to help me ovulate.
Dtd the day before my LH surge showed on ov strips, couldn't do it for the two days the ov strips were nice and dark, but Dtd on the two days immediately after. Started feeling very tired from the third day after the first LH surge (from the strip) which is when I presume stuff started happening.
The cm was the first giveaway that I should check with the ov strip (irregular ovulation so had just stopped bothering to check and was just DTD every alternate day or so).

Rach, as we're due pretty much the same time, when's your next scan? I have a doctor's appointment on 28th, but I don't think they'll scan me then, and as far as I can see from the notes, the 20 week scan is on 19th of Feb only, I'll be 22 weeks by then. (was supposed to be a week earlier, but we're travelling). So long to wait..
