I don't know what's happening with my body. I had a peak on my monitor on cd15. Now it's cd35 and still no AF. Tested with a frer on fri and got a negative. What is going on?

Pip and Twinkle, I'm sorry you're going through shit to have a baby. I don't think there's anything more torturous than this TTC journey, I really don't, and what pains me the most is how much I have changed as a person thanks to the relentless months of BFN's and the rest of the world seemingly having babies around me. I hate that I have become jealous of other women. I hate that I want to stab people who tell me to 'relax, then it will happen', I hate that TTC has wrecked my sex life and reduced my DP to a dribbling wreck, I hate that I am 41 years old and feel that, because I am not someone's mother, I don't have any identity at all. I hate that I wasted years making tons of money as a lapdancer when I could've been having babies. I hate that I used to go dogging and used condoms (I could have had thirty-six kids by now - all the colours of the rainbow).

Shit. I didn't mean to get all depressing. It's Christmas and all that. I meant to say I totally empathise with you on the relentless yearning..the waiting...the disappointment. I've been popping two eggs out at a time for the last three months I've been on Clomid and still no fecking BFP. We've saved enough money for one round of IUI in the New Year. I wish you both all the luck in the world if/when you go for IVF. Warriors - that's what we are

We need to ring our doc on the 2nd to get an appt to be referred to the next stage. Feel so shitty about it. In the months we've been trying we could have had one baby already and should've been thinking about ttc no 2 :(

Twink. I'm off to the hospital on the 8th of January for my pre op and then in for a lap and dye on the 18th.
Long story short, he is fine, I am ovulating however it seems I have one completely blocked tube and one that is fairly blocked. What they are going to do with the lap and dye it to check what is happening. Depending on what they find they might be able to clear it all there and then. If they can't then its off for IVF.

10 hours into my 24 hour journey home. Then once in London it's bloods and scan, then journey up the M1. Literally cannot wait for Christmas Eve night so I can go to bed!!

Pip, how long is your luteal phase usually? 10DPO could be implantation spotting, no? I read only the other day in the Journal of Human Reproduction (gosh, I sound such a wanker) that it's bullshit that the average day for implantation is day seven. It is actually days 9 & 10DPO.

I have a couple of things to report: 1) I have had varying degrees of pain in my lower right abdomen for five hours now. It is not imaginary. Could this be the elusive 'ovulation pain' other women talk about? I've never believed in it (rather like the G-spot myth which only serves to make women jealous of other women) but the crampy pain has been quite extraordinary

2) As I was stood at the Debenhams cash desk paying for a quite horrible metal fruit bowl by Jasper Conran I leaked a gallon of sperm into my jeans. I don't wear knickers - ever - and so I spent the entire afternoon walking around Blackburn like John Wayne. I was wearing one of those ridiculous deerstalker hats with the side flaps when I told DP I was leaking and my crotch was sodden. He dragged me into WH Smiths and bollocked me for shouting about semen and crotches in the middle of a shopping centre. I told him the earflaps on my hat made me deaf and he mouthed 'fuck off' - very funny (not).

Rach, as we're due pretty much the same time, when's your next scan? I have a doctor's appointment on 28th, but I don't think they'll scan me then, and as far as I can see from the notes, the 20 week scan is on 19th of Feb only, I'll be 22 weeks by then. (was supposed to be a week earlier, but we're travelling). So long to wait..

Whoops x posted with hazle.
Putting this out there in case it helps anyone-
FWIW, I tried the CBFM and the cheapie ovulation strips off amazon, and the cheapie ones worked a treat.
I also think conceive plus really helped.
And metformin to help me ovulate.
Dtd the day before my LH surge showed on ov strips, couldn't do it for the two days the ov strips were nice and dark, but Dtd on the two days immediately after. Started feeling very tired from the third day after the first LH surge (from the strip) which is when I presume stuff started happening.
The cm was the first giveaway that I should check with the ov strip (irregular ovulation so had just stopped bothering to check and was just DTD every alternate day or so).

Have taken the liberty of adding to the list. Have retained the fact that I have PCOS- someone reading the thread who has PCOS may take heart from the fact that one can have a BFP with PCOS (even if this ends badly). Plus I don't want to forget quite so soon and get too hopeful.
