Well I'm still here. 7dpo and the tiniest tinge of brown to my cm today.
Other than that. No news.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 20/12/2012 18:38

pip maybe that is what I am hoping it is.. Fx!

happylass · 20/12/2012 18:39

DP had the results of the sperm analysis he demanded today. Fortunately all is well ('above average' according to him!). So that's a relief. Just hope all is on with me now!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 20/12/2012 19:26

That's great news happy!

navis176 · 20/12/2012 21:04

good news happy

has anyone heard from purple???

I'm out for this month - bring on the Wine Xmas Sad

Quodlibet · 20/12/2012 21:25

Blimey a lot going on today!

Congratulations MrsMustard, fantastic news and another BFP to add to our Elderberry successes.
Bottlered I am so glad you have been reassured.
Janey how annoying! Did they just vanish with it? Hopefully some of your friends will have Dubai photos too? I know it's not the same.
Navis sorry to hear you are out.

Well I have had a small freak out over some brown spotting here, but it was the day after sex, and a couple of times now I've had a very slight tinge to post dtd-cm (sorry, that's a lot of tmi). However, What To Expect has reassured me that light post-sex spotting is very common, and seeing as I do have a cervical erosion which has been responsible for mid-cycle spotting before, I am trying not to get wound up about it. Scan on Monday so no point going to the docs now. I am now basically symptom-free apart from a smaller bladder, which does feel weird - I do hope there is something in there.

Hoping Purple will come back and reassure us that all is fine.

Purplemonster · 20/12/2012 21:57

I'm here! sorry for keeping you waiting, manic day. All is ok, we have a heartbeat! Phew!
Hope everyone else is ok.

Purplemonster · 20/12/2012 21:59

Oh and I have a due date, finally! the mini monster is due on 2nd July Xmas Grin

Quodlibet · 20/12/2012 22:25

Great news Purple!

Purplemonster · 20/12/2012 22:35

Thanks Quod, I apparently have an enormous bladder (though you wouldn't think it the amount I have to go) the sonographer had to get me to empty it as it was squishing the poor little wriggler and she couldn't see properly Grin
When's your scan? I had some bleeding which sounds similar to yours and on my scan today she could tell and pointed out something to me and said I might get more bleeding but not to worry TOO much about it. I'm afraid baby brain means the don't panic too much bit was the only bit I really remember! Something about a little pocket of blood sitting behind the placenta or something? Sorry, I'm very vague today. 'Heartbeat' is the only bit I really took in.

MotherOfCleo · 20/12/2012 22:50

ahh fab news purple so chuffed for u!!!

on another note I still have EWCM two days after I OV'd....is that usual?

Quodlibet · 20/12/2012 23:13

Purple was it a subchorionic bleed? It must have been so nice to see a little wriggler in there, did you get a picture? My appt is first thing on Monday (Xmas eve). DP and I are both going to be very nervous I think.

Mother are you sure it is EW and not gentleman's emissions?! Pipbin has a patented test to tell the difference.

twinklestar2 · 20/12/2012 23:31

Good news bottle and purple!

AF was due yesterday and still no sign. I've got a frer to take in the morning as I have a work Xmas do tomorrow so need to know if I shouldn't drink. I don't want to drink I want a BFP!!!

I'm not getting overexcited tho as I'm on cd32 and I've been known to go up to cd43 before (only once but still :)). Can't get too excited.

twinklestar2 · 20/12/2012 23:37

PS good news happy about sperm results :)

Rache1S · 20/12/2012 23:44

Twinkle, that sounds promising, I hope you update us first thing! FX

Great news Purple, you had us worried when there was no update for so long! I'm due 26th June so only 6 days between us Xmas Smile

janey1234 · 21/12/2012 00:10

Ah good news purple Smile

Quod - my bloods are at 8am mon and my scan at midday - we're totally in synch. Also ridiculously nervous - oddly just want it 'over and done with' now (despite rat meaning the end of my hols). Good luck for mon.

twinklestar2 · 21/12/2012 06:19

Bfn.....

happylass · 21/12/2012 07:01

So sorry twinkle Xmas Sad

BottleRed76 · 21/12/2012 07:26

Sorry twinkle.

BottleRed76 · 21/12/2012 07:32

I got my HCG level confirmed yesterday as 198. Back tomorrow for another blood test to see if its going up.
No reason why it wouldn't but my brain doesn't work that way.

navis176 · 21/12/2012 08:03

Great news Purple

Twinkle - sorry to hear that - just been through same myself - depressing isn't it Xmas Sad I'm back to cd2 and lots of Wine...

Contemplating IVF with PGD sometime next year - anyone else getting to that kind of stage?

Bottle - let us know how it goes....

Quodlibet · 21/12/2012 08:15

Janey yes DP was saying last night he just wants to fast-forward the weekend as he can't stand being in limbo anymore.

Boo for bfn twinkle.

Navis what is PGD?

Rache1S · 21/12/2012 09:32

Bummer about BFN Twinkle Xmas Sad Xmas Sad If AF still isn't here though there's still hope Xmas Smile

MotherOfCleo · 21/12/2012 10:54

Yep, def EWCM.....mightily odd...ahh well it's too late to do anything about it, I certainly can't have OV'd so long after my positive OPK, I allowed up to 36 hours as that is what the test said to allow and we Bd's within that time, so I shall panic not and just carry on believing this is my month :-)

On another note with all these BFP going around (which I hope are as catching as the norovirus!! Grin ) has anyone thought names? Me and my OH have already decided on a girls name and have narrowed a boys name down to 2 or 3 options, just wondered if you guys had those chats too? I've not mentioned them to anyone as I think it would be tempting fate?

One issue, I don't think people will like our choice of girls names, we love it but it may be a bit different for the grandparents to take. It's not made up or chavvy its just different, my OH is from South Africa so we wanted something that reflected his past too.

Really hope we get to use it SOON Grin

Rache1S · 21/12/2012 11:04

Can't you tell us the names Cleo? We are after all a bunch of seemingly lovely strangers Xmas Grin and I am really nosey

I haven't put any thought at all into names as I suspect I'm really going to struggle to narrow it down. The only think DH and I have agreed on so far is that we think we'll struggle to both agree on a name but neither of us have dared put any suggestions forward so far! I think we will wait until we find out the sex so we only have to agree on one name rather than two Xmas Grin

Is everyone finding out the sex or are some going to wait for the surprise? I wish I was patient enough to find out at the birth but I desperately want to know now!
