Oh dear - we reached 1000 posts on thread 8 without noticing! I hope you can all find this. THis is a positive thread for all those diagnosed with High or Very High NK Cells and looking to start TTC or already pregnant on Prednisolone and/or Intralipid treatment.

Great to meet a few of you ladies yesterday. Sorry I was so late..(London Weekend Transport I won't even ask). As Free said.. was a year since the first meet up...think this was my 4th.

I don't class myself as NK cells being my "issue" anymore (I will just stick with my DH fragmtation and my hidden infections for now ;0) and own so was less frantic about comparing issues and symptoms and realise a year on just how individal we all are. But the relief of sitting with a bunch of "strangers" and talking about the most intimate/personal things is not lost on any of us who do manage to meet up.

Seems strange at first but then you go can just talk and no one around the table feels pity or awkward or uncomfortable for those few hours. Then when it is time to leave, it kind of dawns on you how temporary the "normality" feeling is and back to reality and back to life as it has become.

It is all about the journey as they say, but again from all the women I have met from this and Super Ov thread, we are a type of strong woman that has an inate drive to know and take control. Whatever the outcome maybe, we don't want it to keep ruling us. Interesting and a privilage to meet such people in life. There are plenty out there who would fall at the first hurdle and that is it.

Tried to scroll down to the last list.. although not pregnant thought I may as well kick it off again, but seriously it must have been in September it was last updated?? Realise that is a long time.. I'll keep looking back but means I may miss a few of you off as I don't follow this thread as closely as I once did.

(I've left LJ and myself in superovulation for now. Generally I'm trying naturally although not this month, and I'm not sure if LJ is going to have more superovulation treatment.)

abney You're first trimester (just) aren't you? But heading very quickly into a safe and assured second trimester, fingers crossed!

Morning all. Well I'm having the wierdest month on prednisolone. Got a very very feint bfp on first response a few days ago and have since tested negative on clear blues including today. I've had light spotting for the last few days (pinky brown which I thought might be implantation) then a very light red bleed yesterday which has stopped. Feel very periody. Does this sound like a chemical pg? Strange that this has happened during my first month of steriods or just bad luck? Has anyone had anything similar?

ConeyIsland, that sounds strange, and frustrating. How many dpo are you? The spotting and light bleed do sound rather like implantation and I did feel very period crampy before I got my BFP. My lines were very feint until about 16dpo but they never appeared and then disappeared. I guess the only answer is to wait and test again. The FRER are supposedly more sensitive than the Clear Blues though, aren't they? Could be that it's too early to pick anything up on them yet.

Hi kittens. It is reallly frustrating! I'm at least 14 dpo so should be picking up a positive by now if I was? Had spotting sunday night so if that was implantation bleeding then surely hormones would be detectable by now. Think I'm going to have to put this one down to experience (though will probably test again at the end of this week, just in case!). Now just worried that I haven't had a proper period and my cycle is all screwed up! FFS!

It is a bit tumbleweed-y round here isn't it? I'm afraid the lack of people ttc or even in the first trimester dissuades me from posting. No offence to those further along obv (I know you've all been there!) but when you're back at the starting line for the umpteenth time, its nice to know there's a good few others at that stage too. Hope that doesn't read like I'm having a go... Its lovely so many have been successful in getting past that 9-12 week point :)

Feck knows what's up with me this month. No smiley ov stick so not sure if I've ov'd at all or just I didn't start ov testing early enough. I'll test at the weekend for entertainment and am doing 25 Pred as usual just in case.

All I can say Coney is to keep testing and maybe get your hcg tested to get an accurate picture? Some ladies have had lighter periods on Pred too. Someone even had a bfn that's now a bouncing baby so anything can happen!

Someone today said I'd planned it well (referring to the age gap between my children) - er, not quite! If only babies stuck to our plans would be a lot easier.

Unenthusiastic wave from me too. . Nothing much to say. Can't seem to get pregnant anymore over a year since last natural one and since dr S so hoping something happens soon ( been saying that for 3 years) yawn. Still a lurker though!

Another feint positive this morning. Don't know why I bought first response, wish I'd just got a digi one with a yes or no! Don't know whether I'm coming or going. Will test again Sunday (with a digital!) when officially a week late, then call Louise at the clinic for advice. Limp wave to all you ttc'ers

Hi all, I've not posted on here but have on the super ov thread previously. I started the pred back in may and then in July on super ovulation. My history is 3 mc , 2@6wks and 1 at 15+3 . Currently in the first trimester at 9+1 , my first under treatment. I have aggressive killer cells so currently taking 25mg pred and 2 cyclogest along with low dose aspirin. It's good to see so many people in trimester 2+3 but as you need a few more 1st tri BFP's feel free to add me in. Got my bfp on SO cycle 2 . Very scared and feel like this could all end soon however just do glad to be pregnant I'm trying to savour the moment and stay positive. Waves to all and good luck to anyone testing soon xxx

To all ttc'ers, yes I know exactly how you feel, I feel despondent and haven't been on here for a bit. Hope we all get onto the first trimester list soon. I can't imagine reaching the top of the list but I have to keep the faith.

I've now got a gorgeous 12 week old english bulldog puppy to keep me occupied! He is very good therapy and keeps me too busy to dwell on bad stuff all of the time.

I just had an mc in october and am now on hydroxy along with pred, hope it works. Im on an enforced month long break from ttc on the advice of mr s and its going very slowly!

Hello, just wanted to pop in to say 'hello'!
Not much going on here, got my final intralipids tomorrow, I will then be discharged from Mr S. Been keeping myself busy, still cant quite believe ive actually got this far.
To all the TTC's - keep going!! I really struggled to get pregnant this time, I hadnt been pregnant for over a year and was just about to start ivf when I fell pregnant naturally. I think the steroids affected my cycles so I think it helped that I hadnt been on those for a while.

Congratulations Rainbows, my only words of wisdom are to take it one step at a time. But from what I understand, Mr S is pretty confident that if you get to 9wks without any problems things are looking pretty hopeful. Fingers crossed for you!

Hi Buster, good to hear from you. It's quite a strange, but encouraging feeling being discharged from Mr S's care! It's also nice not having to fork out anymore money! I had my final appointment the week before last so my next scan will be my anomaly scan with UCH on 23 Nov. I can't believe I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow. I don't have much of a belly yet. It's a kind of "is she, or isn't she?" shape at the moment. How about you?
