right ladies I am signing off for the day so I can finish off. Hope you have a nice evening and I will talk tomo.

bye for now xx

weewilliewinkie · 08/03/2006 17:28

Diddle, I can't bear doing a test in case it's bfp and that turned out to be from last pregnancy, not a new one, iyswim. I'll call my midwife tomorrow and ask her for an hcg test. I've done ov tests which came up neg. But apparently I might have ov'd already. w This is so annoying! I'm becoming obsessed!!

going4potty · 08/03/2006 20:39

Hello, anyone around?

diddle · 09/03/2006 08:04

G4P - i'm around now, you alright????

WWW - have you been ttc since the miscarriage??

going4potty · 09/03/2006 08:16

Hi ladies, mygirl im fine feeling a bit anxious but ok thankyou. How is everybody? Ds had abit of a temp last night and this am so am keeping him home, hope my boss isnt too annoyed as thursday is one of the days i do as extra cause we are short!

weewilliewinkie · 09/03/2006 08:29

morning ladies...

hope you're all ok today. diddle, yes, we have been ttc - but I wasn't holding out much hope! Anyway, af arrived with a vengeance this morning so hey-ho. At least now I can chart my ov. It's actually good to know that things are back to 'normal' down there!

G4P - have a nice relaxing day at home with your ds...take it as easy as possible....Smile

going4potty · 09/03/2006 08:55

oops imeant diddle im fine sorry, reading too many threads at once Blush

going4potty · 09/03/2006 08:59

Ds is really sweet when hes not well. Hes usually such a dynamo but all he wants to do is cuddle poor mite. He has just asked if he can listen to my heart, so hes lying on my chest litle darling.

mygirllolipop · 09/03/2006 09:01

Morning all,
sorry af came WWW but you seem OK about it, in that now you can chart etc.

OP posts:
rubles · 09/03/2006 09:07

www, I think I was the person on here who had a +ve test for 3 weeks afterwards and it was really frustrating for me, so glad you don't have to go through that. I don't know how you feel about the af now, but on the upside at least you are now onto known territory iykwim. Before the af absolutely anything can happen as it is all completely up in the air, whereas now you have a better idea of timing things so you can conceive and test.

weewilliewinkie · 09/03/2006 09:24

that's exactly how I feel, rubles. At least I know where I stand now! Although it does make me a bit sad that I've got af when I expected to be pg (from the last pregnancy, I mean) just now. But I'm glad af came so quickly, I was dreading waiting for weeks and weeks for it.

FirstNikki · 09/03/2006 09:25

www sorry af arrived cos I know you wanted to try asap. The first af usually is quite heavy. As already said though now you know your body is back to "normal" so you can begin the ttc with a lmp date etc. good luck ttc'g

how is everyone today? I am very tired couldn't get sleep then work at 5am so probably only had about 5 hours and thats not good for me I can tell you...bear with sore head and a headache!

going4potty · 09/03/2006 09:56

www hope your feeling ok lovely, what u up to today?

weewilliewinkie · 09/03/2006 11:19

I'm fine, g4p...picking ds up from creche in a minute, then we're both getting our hair cut! Then maybe I'll take him swimming later...He's my little pal!

Bit hungover actually, for the first time in months ... and on 2 glasses of wine! How pathetic!!

What are you up to?

going4potty · 09/03/2006 11:52

Well ds is still poorly, but well eough to eat some junk, so we are slobbing and loving it. Except he keeps hugging my neck a little too tight and with being all bunged up its making me be sick aaargh!

mygirllolipop · 09/03/2006 14:01

WWW tell me about it, I can now get drunk and hungover from a glass of brandy! Look what old age does to me.

hi everyone. i'm so upset today. my sister has been trying for a baby for over a year and started fertility treatment to make her ov. she released 4 eggs and they said she wouldn't get pg but she did. she went for the scan today to see how many was there (i was convinced she was having twins as her bfp was so strong and i had a dream about twins) it turns out there was only one and although the heartbeat was found the sac was completely the wrong shape. she has to go back next week to see whether the baby has grown. the woman who did the scan didn't give much hope and kept asking again and again has she expeienced any bleeding. there was going to be only a month between our babies and this is so sad. she had become very withdrawn because she wasn't getting pg and i'm now scared this will happen again. life is so unfair, i really didn't think anything like this would happen to her.

weewilliewinkie · 09/03/2006 15:27

kk, that is worrying news for your sister. I'm sorry. all you can do is be there for her when she needs you. Sad

I have just spoken to my midwife as I read earlier that vitamin e can prevent m/c. I have no idea what the theory is behind this claim. This sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? Anyway my mw said that she had heard that too, and it certainly wouldn't hurt to take it while ttc.

FirstNikki · 09/03/2006 15:36

oh KK I feel for your sister, I do hope that things work out ok for her. As WWW said, be there for her when she needs you and ask her if she needs help or anything doing if you can? fingers crossed for your sister and you go take a relax. x

WWW hmmm taking vit e while ttc might try that when/if I am active ttc again. - Thanks

oinker · 09/03/2006 21:59

Got back from the conference at 9.00. Bless her she was only supposed to be on for 1hr. They opened the floor up to anyone with a question. I bottled it. i really admire the women that took the mike and spoke of their concerns and told us their stories. So, so sad.

Anyway all was not lost as I fortunately had parked my big derrier right next to Lesleys chair. When she finished her talk I approached her and told her my story.. She shook her head throughout and finally said.....STOP THE PROGESTERONE..THROW IT AWAY ! She seemed confident that because all my m/c had been early ones and all tests were clear that I should carry on as I was and that my time will come. I should stay with the clinic for support and treatment to be given after a positive result.
What a lovely lady...... I had this overwhelming urge to hug her not just for me but for you too Slink. I didn't though they would have probably kicked me out!!

mygirllolipop · 10/03/2006 08:54

Oinker - glad you liked the meeting. And glad you got to speak to her. Seeing as the clinic you are at kept giving you different advice and you trust Lesley implicitly I would do as she says. Do you think you will?

OP posts:
diddle · 10/03/2006 09:35

oinker - sounds like a great meeting, and you appear very positive, do you think you will follow her advice???

Smole · 10/03/2006 09:39

oinker what a fortunate place to sit :o
Her book does suggest that she feels taking progesterone is treating the symptom and not the cause. So what are you going to do?

FirstNikki · 10/03/2006 09:53

Hi There Oinker great news you sat next to Lesley hey. I am too interested will you be stopping progesterone? Best of luck with ttc if you do hun. x

How is everybody today?

Feeling okish myself just fed up at the moment but it should pass.

weewilliewinkie · 10/03/2006 11:31

Hi everyone, hope you're all ok today..

bit fed up myself...took ds to music group where he was battered with a toy by a horrible child - he now has a huge lump on his head! I was so pee'd off - this child is brutal, really violent, and his stupid mother never does anything about it! And I'm too much of a wimp to confront the issue with her. Plus she's heavily pg and I'm stupidly jealous of her for that.
Angry Sad
Sorry, rant over.
