Great you're finally able to tell hun. Once the hb's heard the risk of mc is reduced. That's why I felt alot better.
So pleased for you hun. Are you going to join the Oct thread?

pepperpots · 08/03/2006 08:59

hi ladies Smile

first of all i would like to say a huge congratulations to mygirl and going4potty, well done! hope you both have wonderful pregnancies GrinSmile xx

Secondly i just wanted to say all the newbies Sad for a m/c bringing you to this thread but i have been on this thread for 8 months and the advice, caring and sharing on here has proved to be invaluble Smile

rubles · 08/03/2006 09:16

!! G4P !! Well done for keeping shtoom and many, many congratulations!! 8 weeks...wow, you lucky thing...could the groin pain just be ligaments stretching etc?

This thread is great for a nice steady trickle of bfps isn't it?

FirstNikki · 08/03/2006 09:29

Cognrats! G4P I was wondering you know as I kept asking if af arrived and you always posted without saying. Totally understand you keeping quiet and best of luck with your pg. Well Done!

Pepper I was thinking about your last night wondering how you were I realised I hadn't seen you around for a while. How are you? where are you on your cycle?

www it is awkward isn't it when they don't realise I had this more with no1 pg which mc'd. This time we didn't get it as we didn't tell many, but there was that girl I mentioned at the weekend you put both feet in it. It will get easier. But glad to see you are feeling ok today.

Well ladies my friend from overseas emailed me to ask if I was pg. I told her whats been happening and she said she knew something was up cos she was having weird dreams Shock mad isn't I knew she was pg before she told me...spooky..!

I am not feeling too bad either today feeling focused on the fact I must now get a new job. But to top the lot my car has been playing up so thats going to cost me...that lotto win needs to be mine tonight Grin

Hope all is well with everyone x

pepperpots · 08/03/2006 09:41

mygirllolipop · 08/03/2006 10:31

You lot are mad about gardens! We have a one front and back and I hate gardening. I am so not green fingered! I can kill a plant without even trying!
It's horrible when people say something abut you being pg after you've mc, I remember srying uncontroably about twice Blush.
Thanks for the congrats Pepper (welcome back), and congrats too to G4P, although I dunno why you didn't say we are here to support you through bleeds and stuff you daft thing!
Oinker CH was talking about going to the lecture on Thu. Hope you find it informativ ethose who are going.

oh pepper I remember now sorry for asking you to repeat. good luck with the job hunting, you are still young and things could very well change in the future. In the meantime enjoy the working life hun what type of job are you looking for? Are you going full or part time. You were helping with a friends shop weren't you?? if my memory is right how did that go?

Mygirl I am with you with gardening I am crap. DH always mows lawn and its left for me to do weeding etc of borders (and there's quite a bit) and its back breaking. I tried to plant some lillies which didn't grow, well they did but they were just green leaves lol I also put some in pots which worked a bit better. oh and some strawberries but didn't pick them quick enough so they died. Very tempted just to put weed killer in all the borders so I don't have to do the weeding Grin Wink

Smole · 08/03/2006 10:45

Congratlutaions G4P.

Pepper - sorry to hear that. My DH keeps telling me he's getting too old!

I saw my consultant last night - he's sending me for loads of tests. Unfortunately DH has to have some too and he's got a phobia about needles! So I had to tell the consultant that he may not get those ones!

I hated gardening until I got a large garden. Although I don't like weeding. I put weed fabric down everywhere!

Hope everyone is ok today

Piffle · 08/03/2006 11:09

G$P thats such such lovely news :)
Like Nikki I was wondering about you as well, and figured you had your own good reasons for keeping sctum.
I'm so glad it all looks so good for you!!!!

oinker · 08/03/2006 13:23

G4P FANTASTIC BRILLIANT Grin Grin Grin

What great news............. Grin

oinker · 08/03/2006 13:26

Smole.........

My Dh doesn't like needles either. I had the blood tests done. They will take 6 little test tubes full for you. It's one prick though. Your DH will have one tube filled.. Tell him not to worry he will be fine. They really do need his blood though.

Good Luck

oinker · 08/03/2006 13:27

CH If you are going to the meeting on Thursday maybe we could meet up?

diddle · 08/03/2006 14:27

STOP POACHING OUR GRADUATORS Wink

FirstNikki · 08/03/2006 14:50

lol at the poaching oinker, could I ask if there's any useful info tomo night would you mind posting on here oinker? I am currently reading her book, its full of details and info but struggling to read it at the moment for the fact I am so out of touch of reading a book I am finding it hard to concentrate and take it all in.

smole glad you went to consultant at least the ball is rolling. Hoping you get help soon.

going4potty · 08/03/2006 15:51

Hello ladies thankyou for the kind wishes im still grinning as weve only just told my mum and dad and mil, so ive been dying to say but dh and i didnt want to get too excited when i started to bleed so sorry about the delay again. As for posting if its ok with you ladies im gonna keep posting here as well as the other threads, cause i love this thread and it makes me feel safe. So wishing all the best and hoping this thread has lots more bfps.

weewilliewinkie · 08/03/2006 16:30

Can I just ask a quick question? If I did a pg test just now, would it still come up positive, given that I miscarried 11 days ago?

Just wondering...????? I'm not clever yet about hCG levels and all that stuff. And no, I haven't done a test!

FirstNikki · 08/03/2006 16:37

www it is quite possible as the hcg can (so I believe) take a while to reduce down. I think it can take a few weeks in some cases. Have you have a scan to check that all is clear?, sorry if you have already said I am getting mixed up at the moment with who said what Blush

Smole · 08/03/2006 16:40

Oinker last time DH gave blood he passed out and was ill for 2 weeks!! Wimp!

G4P- you stay as long as you want too!

Weewillie- there is a chance it would come up positive if the level of HCG in your blood was still high enough.

weewilliewinkie · 08/03/2006 16:46

I keep reading conflicting info - some says that because I had a d&c and they got everything out, my hcg should be back to zero. I didn't bleed at all after the d&c. I just have no idea when I am ovulating or when af is due and it's so frustrating! I wish I was a patient sort of person, but I'm soooooo not!

Smole · 08/03/2006 16:53

It varies from person to person. On my complete m/c's my hcg levels went straight to zero. Your af can arrive anytime between between 4 - 6 weeks after an erpc. No help at all really! :)

FirstNikki · 08/03/2006 16:56

oh www yes it is frustrating I have just read another thread where it took someone 3 weeks for hcg to go back to normal. Are you ttc'g at the moment or just trying to pinpoint ov?

going4potty · 08/03/2006 17:01

www, ive heard that it can take a while for hcg levels to go down but not sure of time scale. I believe your epau will keep an eye on it if it doesnt go down as they expect though, sorry not much help Blush

diddle · 08/03/2006 17:08

WWW - your HCG level could still be higher than normal, but possibly not high enough to give a positive result. There is no harm in testing. As you had a d&c there is more chance of yours having gone down by now, compared to a natural MC. But there is even the smallest retained tissue isnide you then the level will stay high until its passed. as far as i know.

Do a test!
