Make yourself comfy in your velour trackies, sparkly thongs & fake tan. Just nipped out to the offie & got us some B&H and WKD to christen the place with.

Hooray Fairy, that is brilliant! Well done you GrinGrinGrin

I have been through ds's old clothes and dug out all the babygros, vests and a few pairs of trousers too. I remember trawling ebay for all his sleeping bags too Grin I bought the mothercare ones cos the zip ends at the bottom so in the summer (?) you can leave the end open, and also get to the nappy without stripping the poor shivering mite completely - more to the point at the moment!

In other news - Week one, run one, tick!

God only knows when the next one will be but the weather is lovely and sunny (well it was, sun just gone in ready to rain at 3pm) and dd was asleep!

Well done Fivealive. I tried the first time after dd was born when she was 7 months. It was boxing day. I stopped soon after as it was too cold and I got too ill.

That is a good plan we can all relocate to the costa del sol. Or the Canaries as it would be warmer.

Fairy that is such good news. Fingers crossed for a 2013 bundle.

So where will this nice warm park be located? Will it be warm enough to take my tights off and bare my cornbeef legs!

Really envious of all this running and losing weight. I can't run as I tore a tendon ligament thing in my foot a few years ago (well that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it)

Whoop!!!!!

Laughs at FG correcting her own grammar in times off joy. Though I have probably used the wrong version of grammar.

Pass us a diamond white, dd is in bed for the night, and I have finished week one run three today. Did run 2 on Saturday and ds came with me on his bike - it was great having a little training partner :) Not sure how week 2 will go as it is due to chuck it down on thursday

How are you all?

Am doing my last run of week 8 later. Not sure how I got that far but seems to be working. Though not getting very far.

Wow! Week 8, how long is that 28 mins? My running speed is not fast, I believe I was overtaken by a lame snail yesterday. That was week 2 run 2. Need to stop eating the chocolate next, I am weaning myself off it though. Start weight, just under 14st. (I haven't even told dh that!) First target 12st, then we'll see.

Hmm, not going well this week, haven't run since saturday. Will have to go out tomorrow, I hope Miss has a nap at a convenient time.

I was happy to go today and ended up napping with DS instead. Whoops.

Managed a run on Thursday and yesterday, so not too bad. Up to week 3 run 1 now.

How you doing Fairy? Have you got a date yet? Good luck :)

Lemony - get your bike out if you can't run, although you may need a trailer - which does add to the workload a bit (!)

Just done week 3 run 3 Whoopee! Did 5 minutes on the last run not 3 as well, so feeling a bit like a girly swot. (sweaty swot)

In other news, dd is six months on saturday! I am trying to get her to drink from a bottle and struggling. Have tried 3 bottles and 4/5 different teats. If any milk does make it into her mouth, she just dribbles it out again. But this morning there was less screaming so hopefully sometime in the next 2 weeks [hhmm] she will actually drink out of the bloody thing. She has teeth and sometimes uses them. I want to QUIT! [Bad selfish mummy emoticon]

Umbongo mini muffin was exactly the same, you'd of thought I was trying to attack her not just give her a bottle! The one bottle she didn't seem to mind was the nuk bottle.

Dd2 had four teeth by six months and when she did bite I think my screams scared her into stopping.

Your not a bad mummy six months bf is fantastic (and alot of hard work) I wanted to quit a lot of times, especially when it was three in the morning, but we got to fourteen months.

Big waves to everyone else.

Dh is talking about when to try for no 3!

Yes, we've got the nuk bottles, I even bought latex teats as someone somewhere said something about them working for them! However, this morning she did take a few small sucks, and even swallowed a bit of milk before dribbling the rest out of the side of her mouth! Looking at the bottle now - I think a whole ounce is missing (nearly) and the bib and cloth were a lot less wet! I am not sure how I am going to cope over half term as this mornings palaver went on till about 11, although I suppose I won't have the school run to do (and car to take to garage, and playgroup to set up) like I did this morning! Note to dd MUMMY WILL WIN. [hsmile] If I was a witch though, I could put a spell on her. Hmph.[henvy]

Number 3 Lemony!!!! Not round here, I am already ancient! Good luck. No queue jumping though, FairyG is next in line.
