I probably won't get started tomorrow, as we have a visitor at the moment, but if you are going to start then I will have to start sometime this week now the evenings are lighter, and the weatherman says it may get up to a balmy 7C!

I just hope my ankles hold up. I will try running on grass rather than the road to help them not get sore with the repetitive thundering of an overweight me! I do like the [bubear]

Did C25K run one week one last night. It hailed. Only a short shower, but it still HAILED.

This evening I have got the mini-bongos in bed dh is out for tea, so I am having a lovely friday night in. MN, fire lit, and a lovely ham salad for tea. Hmm

And I'm still hungry and there are chocolate eggs in the house. Bugger.

The shred isn't too bad Fairy. It is only half an hour and is on oo toobe so you don't have to spend actual money, but I did go and buy some 1kg weights from argos cos my tins of beans only weighed 450g! And I now have enough tummy muscles to sit up Grin.

I've gone back to the c25k instead of shredding, but will maybe do a few of level 2 if the weather is too crap for running! I got as far as level 2 day 4 ish I think, I get bored easily Grin

But on the up side, I have got enough abdominal muscles back in that short time to enable me to do some sit ups when I come back from a "run"

I have finished week 1 of the c25k, did the 3rd run last night, thinking I was looking forward to doing more actual running cos I was rather cold. I must put more on than my spangly thong and boob tube.

Did w2r2 last night and have just blown the diet tonight! Dh is out this evening so I thought that ds and I would have chips! I have - as of yesterday (not including today!) only got 3lb to lose before I get shot of the first stone. However after today I may have half a stone to shift now!

How's the shredding going FairyG? How are your abs?

W3R3 done, but did a 6 minuter instead of a 3 minuter at the end and actually started to enjoy a bit of the running, lifted my head up and was looking around a bit!

Anyone else here or am I talking to myself? [no change there then!]

Week 5 Lou! Cor you're well 'ard you! I am up to week 4 run 3 tomorrow. Doing well so far and have lost my first stone, one down, 2 to go! I think I am looking forward to the challenge of week 5 as that is the furthest I have got with the plan. I did the 20 minute run and then my ankle started to hurt and by the time that mended dd finally happened!

Good luck for tomorrow Lou.

Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrgggghhhhhhhhh.

This morning ds was asked to get dressed and didn't. I went to tell him again and found him scratching his windowsill with the metal radiator surround. Soooooooo, we had a discussion about doing what he was told and I confiscated some toys and he got dressed and went to school.

Collected him from school, went to park, came home, had further discussions about getting on and doing as he was asked. Sent him upstairs after tea to put pyjamas on and do teeth. He was still in his clothes when I went up with dd in her pjs 15 minutes later.

I have now confiscated his bike.

At this rate we will finally have a tidy house by the end of the week as I will have confiscated every toy he has and all his books.

Any other ideas? Apart from Wine of course!

I have been sewing and not running!

He finally got his bike back today! He had 3 days where he mucked up and didn't win his toy back - including tuesday which was going really well until he bit his sister just before bed time. Well there is a first time for everything! And a last too hopefully.

Have also been sewing Lou, I have made a roman blind! It goes up and down too!

I have also got up to run 3 week SEVEN! Cor! I ran for 25 minutes and made it up to 2.06 miles last time. Am trying to up my speed a bit every now and then or I will have to run for 45 minutes to do the race for life!

Come and join in the couch to 5k running fred Lou. Then we can both run round the park looking for FairyG.
