Just Shagging (JS) is ttc using ye olde shagging & crossing fingers methods, our tools are your body, OH?s body..urm some wine & lots of finger crossing.

All are welcome, most leave happy & upduffed! The last two threads have been very successful; thread 8 had 5 BFP?s, thread 9 had 6 BFP?s....so we?re due 7 BFP?s here, which means we all need to get shagging.

We don?t ?do?; OPKS, taking temp or harcore charting...although it is nice to know when ERTD is due.
Which brings us to acronyms & slang;
AF=ERTD (Evil Red Tide Of Doom).
EWCM=Pant Snot

You=Are a viroid, no idea why but it goes long back to the dawn of time.
DTD=JS or donning the Shag cape.
POAS=Sometimes referred to as PIAR (Pissing In A Ramekin), as we?re such classy ladies

frying sorry about the bfn :( but if you're not due till saturday it could well just be a bit too early - it's only just 10dpo which I think is the earliest time for implantation to have taken place isn't it? Don't give up hope just yet - are you feeling pms-y at all?

Morning ladies....POAS'd this morning & bfn so defo out this month. Now feels like ERTD is finally on its way & I feel loads better too...think it might be the vit supplements that have messed my cycle a bit (i'm same with prrose ools tablets too). Hurry up ERTD so we can get on with cycle #2!

Shattered today...ds been awake since 4.30am....slight improvement on yesterday's 3.45am

Nothing PMSY. I'm all spotty, so very tired and just feel totally gross, but it could be either a pregnancy or pms thinking about it! :)

I really don't want to get my hopes up, but I can't help it. I know that if i'm not pregnant this cycle, i'm going back onto the pill as dh is panicking and wants to wait a bit.

Oh no frying, can't you get your DH to agree to something less disruptive than the pill if it's a postponement of ttc rather than a cancellation? It can take a while for the pill to leave your system so you could be causing unnecessary delays in future....can't you get him to use condoms for the time being? Or just careful timing/withdrawal if an "accident" wouldn't be the end of the world?

Ha ha kitten, DS is usually a 7pm-7am kind of boy, but recently been up at all hours. I thought it was the hot weather but not so sure now.

Just back from taking him swimming...hoping it's tired him out enough for a decent sleep tonight...

We can't use condoms. Totally TMI (isn't it always?) but whenever we've used condoms, my dh starts to over think his performance and then just loses his erection. Makes for a frustrating time afterwards.

I've only seen it live once, when it came to Manchester. It was amazing, just the introduction had me in tears. Of course, I'm in love with Gerard Butler's portrayal as Phantom.

Iv been to London twice to see it, seeing the touring one next in Liverpool. Have you watched the 25th anniversary one? It's about a fiver on DVD and the curtain call... I was in floods watching it!

frying, sorry about the bfn, but yay, for testing buddy on saturday. Dont lose hope, my bfp didnt show up for over a week late for my dd.

Not holding out too much hope for this month, but you never know!

The 'phantom' is so not my thing, he always gave me the creeps! (but I think thats the point).

ERTD is due either yesterday or tomorrow (cycles have varied between 26 and 28 days since I started paying attention to them) so could turn up at any time. I was feeling quite hopeful as we seemed to DTD pretty consistently EOD for the first couple of weeks since last ERTD.

Anyway, IPIALPST (that's a 'little plastic storage tub') and used a cheap ebay tester but it was BFN.

Never mind, I think I do prefer knowing before ERTD is here otherwise some months I seem to get really down about it. As I have already posted about, this is taking much longer than DD1 and DD2 (although I think this was only cycle 5 or 6) and we are doing a lot more thinking about conceiving than we did before.

I am getting close to 40 and DP is several years the other side of 40 so maybe it is not going to happen. I have never known when I OV - I have never noticed cramping during the month, but then, I don't get crampy or PMS-y either around ERTD - and ERTD only lasts 2-4 days.

Still, having had two nights of no sleep due to (TMI warning here)...... DD2 being constipated and impacted (blocked!), today I had to administer an enema to my 3 yo DD! They never included anything about that in the manual!

Yey practising! I'm gonna test and I'll post the results 9.30 sat morning. We could be testing at the same time!

Dysgu that's crap! (see what I did there? Ha ha ha) I'm really sorry, sounds painful for the poor little one

Dysgu thats awful, your poor dd. Likewise this ttc thing is taking a bit longer than I expected too! First time was within 3 months after coming off pill (so you have to give an allowance of 3 months there anyway). Im now on cycle 6 ... pants! Am seriously wondering if its ever going to happen! But has made me appreciate my little dd!

frying will attempt to post then, but thats a hectic time in the practising household!

DD2 is much happier this morning - still got some stomach cramps from all the medicines the docs have had her on this week but she ate her tea last night and her breakfast this morning so the house is a much more smiley place!

No ERTD yet today - but is still early (we have just been up since 5.30am so it seems later than it is) but another BFN so should be here soon. I think I will just sit it out and wait for it now rather than keep testing. Still, it means we are more determined to make sure we JS EOD, which DP is happy about!

Fingers crossed for a double BFP on Saturday morning for frying and practising
