Just Shagging (JS) is ttc using ye olde shagging & crossing fingers methods, our tools are your body, OH?s body..urm some wine & lots of finger crossing.

All are welcome, most leave happy & upduffed! The last two threads have been very successful; thread 8 had 5 BFP?s, thread 9 had 6 BFP?s....so we?re due 7 BFP?s here, which means we all need to get shagging.

We don?t ?do?; OPKS, taking temp or harcore charting...although it is nice to know when ERTD is due.
Which brings us to acronyms & slang;
AF=ERTD (Evil Red Tide Of Doom).
EWCM=Pant Snot
Getting a BFP soon after joining thread= Doing a kitten
You=Are a viroid, no idea why but it goes long back to the dawn of time.
DTD=JS or donning the Shag cape.
POAS=Sometimes referred to as PIAR (Pissing In A Ramekin), as we?re such classy ladies

livismum, I am sorry to hear of your mmc. Finding out at your scan must be :( I'm so glad it wasn't molar, good luck to you getting a BFP soon!

babylann, I am sorry to hear of your mmc too. I hope your erpc wasn't too stressful and upsetting & you've spent the day, and today..and the weekend relaxing. Fingers are crossed for your BFP.

child, glad you're more positive now and I really hope it works out.
I didn't relax with DS until he was past the 'high risk' point for SiDS...not to mention the little bugger stopped moving on 2 occasions towards the end of pg, I think I'll err on the side of over caution if I ever get pregnant again.

mandasand, have fun telling everyone & I hope you & your mum are relaxed throughout the pg. It's so hard not to think of the high risk stuff/sad endings to pregnancies when you're so aware of them. x
We told PIL at 5weeks (went up to theirs for the weekend & they asked why I wasn't drinking), within a day everybugger knew (cheers MIL!).

Practising, hope you & DH didn't have a massive falling out and harmony in Chez Practising is restored soon...the advantage of not being pregnant for your birthday is people won't buy you something 'for the baby' and the drinking, obviously!

Got a BFN this morning, but hoping it's just too early to tell. Not feeling pre-ERTD at all.

Thanks all :) the positives are I can focus on losing some more weight in the next couple of weeks and also have a bottle of wine when my friend comes to visit on Tuesday!

Feeling a lot better recovery wise, don't think the anaesthetic was out of my system yesterday as I was still shattered and couldn't even tidy the living room!

It's heartbreaking to read these stories - so sorry livismum and babylann - I am very new here but hope I don't have long to get to know you, in the nicest possible way I have known a few people get pg right after mc with no problems, fx that happens to you both!

I am VERY EXCITED here as we are off on holiday for 2 weeks tomorrow! Sooo glad to be finished with work which has been pretty stressful lately. And we've already had some quality JSing. I am trying to work out whether we should find a way to JS tomorrow - too scared to try mile high but we are stopping over for 6 hours somewhere so maybe... either way, in 48 hours or so I will be in the USA! Woohoo!

Hi all, this seems to be the busiest thread in conception so hope you don't mind me dropping in with a quick question. I have stopped taking my pill but no AF yet, it's been about 7 weeks since the last one. We have been dtd... A lot. How long should I leave between testing? (no idea about cycles and all that stuff!)

Showme I think you could have tested 2 weeks ago. Unless your cycles are very long, I would suggest that you may be preggo - so POAS!

Anyway congrats times 2 to manda I had also heard that it is a last hurrah for old ovaries which causes so many multiple births in us older ladies though I have not mentioned that to DH yet

Sorry to anyone else I have missed, but hi anyway :)

Anyway ERTD got me in the end but another very odd one. Late(ish) little bleeding, terrible cramps with heavy bleeding and clots, back to little bleeding and so on for two days. Now almost nothing and I am generally a 5 day kind of gal so most mysterious. I think we had a MMC 3 or maybe 2 months ago (in the true JSing spirit I am not too sure :o) so it seems unlikely this is another so I may toddle off to the GP when DS is away at my DM's.
On the plus side, DS is going to my parents for an undetermined length of time (only grandchild syndrome!) The balance between peace and quiet and him having a good time versus a spoilt, over tired, over indulged brat coming home is a fine line but a week or so of leisurely JSing would be great :)
Off to a food festival tomorrow even though the last two we were going to were cancelled because of the weather Hope you all have a great weekend with plenty of JSing :)

Well, all yesterday and so far today I'm having horrific cramps. It's just so painful. So it's either ovulation pain or implantation.

My OV pain was shocking last weekend, frying, so I empathise totally. Make sure your DH/P spoils you rotten.

Frying and Nicola, sorry about the ov pain! Though i guess it's a good pain, better than AF anyway!

Kitten, we're going to both east and west coasts, currently relaxing in the lounge before boarding! Very very tempted to drag DP off for some JSIng in the showers but he's enjoyed a few beers and not sure it's the best idea!

I am having some minor cramps, wonder if it is ov? Weird, waiting to find out what my cycle is after so long on the pill...

Anyway hope you are all having brilliant JSing weekends!

babylann so sorry to see you back on here, iykwim. This thread is a bit mixed with the lucky (wing and mandasand) and unlucky (livismum and babylann) occurring all at once!

DH and I have made up and js the last 2 nights, and very enjoyable js too. Had a night out just the 2 of us last night, and that was so great, I really fancy him at the mo! If Im right about ov earlier, Iv missed the fertility boat this month, DH was really disappointed so will definately be making sure we don't have ill timed arguments and weekends away next month!!!

Hi all, sorry to those of you who have left and come back. Can't imagine how awful it's been.
I ordered my bulk pack of preg tests off eBay on Thursday so as soon as they arrive I will be testing one out and let you all know.

So yesterday I had the right kinda pant snot, but I wasn't in.

So today we js, so we'll see what happens.

Meanwhile, literally just now, my DH has said that we should put having another baby on hold. He's worried about money. Could be interesting

Sorry to hear about the MMCs - praying for clarity and of course BFPs.

Not posted for a while as DD been ill...culminating in her being hospitalised on Friday night. We were let out today and it will certainly be.nice to sleep in my own bed tonight.

Unfortunately my weekend of being in hospital coincided with fertile weekend. Having said that, have had pant snot over last couple of days but have only today got positive on OV stick. Very .

I'm so sorry Guinea. Hope she's feeling better!
