TTC first baby

Hello all! DH and I are TTC our first baby, I'm 31, he's 32. We've only been trying for a month so it is extremely early days but I'm so excited at the prospect.

DH may have some fertility issues (picked up on a scan) but I was pretty convinced it was going to be a BFP straight away as I had so many symptoms - but that shows how much I know!

Is anyone else TTC their first baby? Please join and keep me company!!

OH shame my DH says "oooh maybe you're pregnant" with such hope and this naughty little smile. I hate telling him when AF arrives.

We've been married 6 months on Saturday so I foresee much humping through the weekend. That can't be too bad, can it?!

A good reflexologist can massage virtually. I'm waiting! :)

104 times wow. well we haven't been DTD much this month. One of the reasons is that I haven't been too well. My body has been playing tricks with me recently with stomach cramps, back aches and sore boobs. My cramps have gone thank god but still have sore boobs. I am not imagining it, they definitely hurt. Have to wait begining of June to see if I get a proper period next month. This month was way to odd.

Does anyone else finds not knowing so hard? It's killing me! And this is only first month of ttc! What am I going to do if it's doesn't happen for months??? I'm going to get crazy!!!!!!!

I'm on cycle 4 Popinda and uff it's literally all I can think about! Just started my 2ww so am trying desperately to ignore everything until af is due probably going to test at 13dpo

I really can't wait to start trying, but I'm worried how badly I'll react when it doesn't happen.

I get obsessed easily, so have a feeling this could take over my life. I'll have to try to concentrate on the wedding as my main focus until October. Some hope though!

It can drive you crazy definitely. I'm loving the laid back approach this month though - no OPKs, etc. Even if we're not lucky this month I think I might just carry on like this tbh, its much less stressful!

I'm taking that approach to start with...monitoring my post-pill cycle but nothing else. Probably do that until the wedding, then change tack if nothing's happened by then after the honeymoon.

Your not the only one being driven crazy popinda. I'm still waiting for my first proper post-pill AF to show up (ie not withdrawal bleed) and I can't stop thinking about it! I literally have no idea what my cycles are at the moment yet there's still a teeny part of me clinging to the hope of a flukey BFP. Which is ridiculous really and I know it.

Oh well, for now the sun is shining and it's Friday - yay! :)

Ah, Kitten, we are soon going to be in the same boat, you're just a touch ahead of me. I'm also hoping for a flukey 1st month BFP. Happened to my mum. Twice!

And there's not much wedding stuff happening right now as I'm waiting for the RSVPs to come back. Proper lull :-(

Oh I'd love to get married again too, I've never really been the girliest of girls and wasn't really into weddings and stuff but I loved it! It was honestly the happiest day of our lives and we've been in a post wedding bubble ever since, now 9 months later!

Would be great if you two both got 1st month BFPs - stranger things have happened!

Yep we kind of had a blip but then, we did pretty much everything on the "how to drive yourself insane" list for the first (and current) 6 months of marriage. But, for better or worse, he is my best friend and I'm his so we fixed all that and we're back in our love post-marriage bubble.

I was never girly either - I wore flat shoes and I wanted a flowing simple wedding dress but landed up in a poofy one (off the shoulders with no bling though) and a PETTICOAT in 30 degree weather!. I also wanted photos in the water with my dress floating above the water :D We got that too.

I really hope we get a BFP this month

No sadly not.....not of the party planning kind anyway - would be SO much fun though! My job is waaaaaaaay less interesting (PA for a senior exec in a big city bank. Yawn)

Didn't Seal and Heidi Klum renew their vows every year with a full on wedding? Oh to have the money......!
