Had a search for a may BFP thread and couldn't see one (please correct me if there is!) so thought I'd start one..

Yey! Our 1st bfp i couldn't be happier 4u. That's it ladies, the seal has been broken let the floods of bfp's begin ..

Winkle. When r u testing then 2mor? If not would he really need 2 know ud broken the rule. If it is positive he won't care u did it early.

Wishful. I understand why ur pissed off. I'd b annoyed 2. Maybe its pg hormones that's making u more sensitive tho, perhaps.

Lol @ rue ... Leave the bastard! @winkle, if your DH is anything like mine it is cold hard currency that is making him tell you to wait. There was a time when DH was in ignorant bliss about the cost of HPTs ... Not so now. hence the Internet cheapies!

I am a dimwit and have not really processed the fact I oved on day 16 rather than 14 so prob need to wait until the 10th to test. Gutted. That is next Thursday. Still feeling sick when I do too much but no other symptoms to speak of.

Evening ladies, I have been busying myself all day in an attempt to not think about testing as the postman delivered my order today! I'm only 6-7 days post ov so there really is no point in wasting a test but it is so difficult not to do it

My boobs are doing wierd things as well, all the achey pain in my nips has gone but I too have had a wierd itchy feeling but only in my left one. I personally think I am just being a dumbass and need to stop thinking about/examining my boobs and just try and pass the next week by as quickly as possible.

Who is testing next? I will try my best not to test early this time. Not feeling any different to be honest, but you never know!

Wishful - I hear you. I've had to tell hubby to man up when it's the special days of the month!

Hubs said he was so disappointed last month when we weren't preg he doesn't want to get his hopes up and wants to wait, but don't worry girls I'm working on breaking him down ;)

I've been reading the thread everyday despite not posting since my original intro. Am to admit that DH and I have been DTD shagging like rabbits at every available opportunity and it's great! Just had my first G&T of the evening, curry ordered, DS1,2&3 banished to bed...ready for another round tonight! hooray.

Am feeling inspired...can you tell?

wishful i'm with you on the 'sore boobs because of prodding' and on the feeling a bit annoyed frustrated with DH during OVtime! they just dont seem to get how important it is!

all my symptoms seem to have disappeared so I dont think it's looking good :( managed not to POAS today but AF due Monday, would tomorrow be too early to test if I use an internet cheapie?

@ crafty girl .. I was planning to do a sneaky test on Monday ie 1 day early before I actually looked at a calendar and saw how mixed up on dates I was getting. So yeah, I reckon an 18p Internet cheapie is in order tomorrow. Go for it.

@pick .. That Bfp has cheered me up. people do get preggers in May. IT IS possible!!

Thanks for the posts. It would have been a complete miracle to have got pregnant (first egg in two years and we only dtd once).

I'm not looking good either. I have 2 huge spots, and that always happens before ERTD. But hey! Not due until Thursday so we have hope...

Yay pick!! Great to get a proper, digital BFP after your "seven pale but colour lines", making me hold out a little hope that there's a possibility my very own pale but colour line will translate into a digital BFP by next week sometime

I'm feeling wrecked today, really, really tired - don't know if it's the anxiety of am i pg or am i not pg draining me or if i really am pg so it's making me completely wrecked but me and DH were going to call in for a couple of hours to a wedding do some friends (of friends) of ours were having tonight but between the long drive, feeling wrecked, not drinking and another night out on the cards tomorrow night, at home eating curry and drinking tea in front of telly lol

I'm going for it big time (for the rest of) this month... No drinking, no secret smoking, no caffiene, DH having only luke warm showers, lts f green vegetables, lads of vitamins, bought pre seed and conceive plus and will alternate them.... I'm going for positive!!

I said to DH today - when we had DD I said "we're going to get pregnant in January, we'll have a baby in October' then in December I was shopping and saw a pink bunny with Tilly written on it and bought it, and came home and said to DH... "next month WHEN I get pregnant we're going to have a girl and we're going to call her Tilly". Ad from then on I shopped for pink stuff etc... And we had DD October 2010. I said to DH that we need to be as positive and go for it as we were then... And I'm going to be. I might even buy something baby tomorrow.

Woohoo congrats on your BPF Pick

I have been quietly lurking sulking slightly after my apparently random cycle length last month although looking at all my dates since coil out it seems I'm alternating 25 and 30 day cycles,odd.

Anyhow feeling upbeat about May, am currently day 13 and lots of CM for a couple of days and we have DTD EOD since day 8.

Think I will consider testing around the 25th.

Sorry QT re the BFN. It is the most frustrating and disappointing thing to be in limbo waiting for something to happen, makes you doubt your knowledge of your body. Fingers crossed you'll know one or the other soon.

Dexi, don't worry about the varying length of your cycles, lots of us OV on different days each cycle, a 28 day cycle OVing on day 14 is not common. If you're noticing what's going on with your CM and/or temps then you'll be able to see when you're about to OV and therefore know how long that particular cycle is going to be. Keep going with the DTD EOD, I know I've said it before but shagging lots is the way to make a baby!
