I feel so sad. I'm stuck in bloody work and all I want to do is crawl into my bed. And now I'm bloody crying.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 28/04/2012 08:42

Morecoffee

Sad Sad Sad So sorry af got you. 16 months is a long long time. You will have finished work soon.

Hope you have a gentle day planned.

RIBS · 28/04/2012 08:51

@morecoffee I'm really sorry. I know how u feel. At least when uv got a regular monthly cycle u have a better chance but when u ov once a blue moon it just takes 4eva. Have u got a consultants appointment yet?

RIBS · 28/04/2012 08:58

Also sorry 2 Stephi n dexi. But ur still in with a chance 4 may bfp.
I think I may have had a bit of ewcm last nite and ov stick had a line, hoping its gonna b dark later. At least then I woot have missed the boat 4 this month. DP abroad 4 stag so ttc would b imposible.

RightUpMyRue · 28/04/2012 10:08

morecoffee Sad so sorry it's not worked again.

LittleMissSnowShine · 28/04/2012 10:39

@morecoffee - so sorry, that really is horrible for you, 16 months is a long and frustrating wait for your BFP and I can imagine how down you feel today. Hope you're back from work and u can just crawl into bed with chocolate&magazines. Hopefully only a few weeks of nightshifts left for u and its still a.possibility you'll get a late may bfp so stick around with us!

@wishful - what a pain! Even tho its late in cycle for me, im pretty sure I saw some ewcm on thurs so we dtd on thurs night and we should have dtd again last night but instead we were out with a torch trying to get our boiler to work at half ten and then passed out asleep at half eleven... I dont want to make things pressured either but I want a lil bro or sis for DS and I'd love for it to happen easily but we've so much going on that finding time to dtd is harder these days. I'll try again tonight tho and we can ju mm.st keep fx, wishful!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 28/04/2012 10:39

Sorry for spelling, using phone!!

CraftyGirly · 28/04/2012 10:51

so sorry to hear your news morecoffee that sucks :(

winkle2 · 28/04/2012 10:57

Ah bugger morecoffee :( So sorry she got you x

morecoffeemorecoffee · 28/04/2012 11:05

Thanks everyone. Feeling Crap. In my bed watching Crap tv. Have cried lots and feel very sorry for my self. Waiting for Dh to get home from taking dcs to park. He's assured me he's bringing me chocolate Grin

Takeaway and wine tonight.

I'm going to start temping this cycle as I won't be working nights. I think we are going to ease of the dtd though and just try to grasp my cycle. Need to look forward now. :(

RIBS · 28/04/2012 11:21

oh morecoffeeI really do feel for you. Its just such a nightmare sometimes, and some people just get pregnant without trying. You have a day of self indulgent feeling sorry for yourself, because you should. Its shit, you feel shit no argument.

But, you do have to look forward or you will go into meltdown. After a very lengthy cycle, you have actually ovulated. Thats a positive. Thats the way I saw it. I got some cheapO internet ovulation sticks and a BBT and I can actually see whats happening in my cycle now and I feel that at least ive got more of a fighting chance at actually getting pregnant cos im having sex when i know im ovulating, rather than just here and there. When your cycles go on for 6,8,10,12,15 weeks and longer you just cant keep DTD every other day.

I think by charting and opking you feel like you have a bit more control. The first month I was like a crazed lunatic, but this month im much more relaxed.

Go back to the DR. Push to see a gynae, if he/she is sympathetic lay it on thick, you cant go on like this, its affecting your job etc. Which to be fair it probably is.

Enjoy your family, wine and takeaway today. Get on amazon tomorrow and ring the Dr's Monday. I will be nagging at you if you dont!!!! (((hugs)))

LittleMissSnowShine · 28/04/2012 13:11

@morecoffee - agree with everything RIBS said. If AF gets me im going to.be charting next month, having no idea if im OV or not or when its happening so I really do empathise so much and if we end up on the BFP june thread at least we'll be charting together. AF might hav got u this time but now you're on CD1 of a brand spanking new cycle and who knows what will happen...

LittleMissSnowShine · 28/04/2012 13:24

Also, I have lower back cramps today and im feeling pretty wrecked. Im on CD28, last cycle was 38 days but the three before that were more around 28 day mark cos even.tho we only started ttc last month I was keeping track of good ol AF for a few months beforehand.

Anyway, thought I might be in for another long cycle this month.but in terms of symptom spotting this does feel a lot.more like AF than early preg. Might go poas use one of my poundland cheapies tho just to see...

winkle2 · 28/04/2012 13:30

Littlemisssnowshine - good luck!

Considering not doing SMEP next month and dtd every other day from day 10-20ish.

LittleMissSnowShine · 28/04/2012 14:33

Well 2 things - read my app wrong, doh! Tis CD25 and not CD28 as previously advertised and my cheapo test kits admit to only working from the day AFTER you miss your period (poundland 4eva!) So yes I got a BFN but given that info not v surprised!!

Back cramping continuing and muchas ewcm so perhaps this really is belated OV and not start of AF Hmm i'll believe it when I see a BFP tho, until then or until AF shows up, somewhat reluctantly, my one woman 4 week shagathon continues...

RightUpMyRue · 28/04/2012 14:57

That might be where you're going wrong LittleMiss: "one woman 4 week shagathon"...think you need to include DH...Grin

DogEared · 28/04/2012 15:12

Hello! May I join?
ttc #3, cycle one, due to test on the 14th of May. I have a regular 18-day cycle and ovulate around day 14-15.
I am already pissed off with myself for using ov sticks and counting the days and it's only month one! I took nearly 2 years to conceive DC2 and I became a monster, I really did. I got so stressed and teary and would get really angry with DH if he wasn't in the mood. I don't want to be that person this time round. So I'm trying to not get obsessive no bloody chance and to think that if it happens, it happens. Also, I am not telling DH when I'm ovulating so that he doesn't feel any pressure to perform.
I'm sorry for those of you that have been struck by AF and BFN. But you should eat lots of brie and drink lots of gin because you can...

curiousgeorgie · 28/04/2012 16:42

I just tested with a FRER and got a barely there line. I hate them. I like clear blue digital and that's it, but it's what DH brought home so I obligingly peed on it in the middle of the day. It really is barely there but the top of the line is quite pink. Is it an evap line??

I've started getting pink discharge again :s

What the hell is going on???

Morecoffee - that is absolutely awful. Ttc actually sucks. There is nothing pleasurable about it in the least. But please see your gp xxxx

OP posts:
RightUpMyRue · 28/04/2012 17:00

Georgie!!!!!!! How thrilling! Go out now and get yourself a CB digi and test again the morning. The pink goo is OK so long as it stays like that and then goes away and doesn't get darker and turn into AF. Hopefully some implantation and nothing more.

Welcome DogEared Smile Did you mean a 28 day cycle and not 18? That would be a seriously short cycle! 2 years is along time, was there any reason why it took so long?

How's your day going morecoffee?

toobreathless · 28/04/2012 17:10

Hope everyone else is having a good day?

CuriousGeorgie I hate any test that isn't a clear blue digi as my mind has the ability to invent lines! Fingers crossed for your line.

Rue where are you up to?

morecoffee hope you got some sleep & are having a peaceful day.

Think I'll order a couple of CB digitals from amazon & test when they arrive. Think I'll just do one a week until AF turns up.

curiousgeorgie · 28/04/2012 17:16

Well, tmi, some of its pink and some of is brown like old blood. This is what happened before, for weeks. Then miscarriage. I can't do this much more... If this isn't my cycle I actually think I'm quitting.

OP posts:
morecoffeemorecoffee · 28/04/2012 17:24

georgie hang in there, all is not lost for you yet. My pinkish discharge last night became AF within a couple of hours. Don't give up hope, I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

RightUpMyRue · 28/04/2012 17:26

Hi toobreathless I'm on CD11 ish and have DTD 6, 8 and 10 so still on track for EOD. I've been charting for the first time properly too and according to the temps I haven't OVed yet but I'm not expecting to until at least CD17 at the earliest although I've had some mild grumbly cramps but they're probably down to the beans I had with my fry up this morning! What about you, whereabouts are you in your cycle?

I'm in two minds about whether to use OPKs this month or not. We're planning on DTD EOD until I either get a BFP or AF shows up so is it worth it using the tests? DP is also going away for 5 days when I'm expecting OV so do I really want to see a positive OPK when he's 100's of miles away and there's no chance of SWI?

What would everyone else do?

morecoffeemorecoffee · 28/04/2012 17:35

Hi all. Thanks for lovely messages. I'be had some sleep and chocolate and a cream cake and full caff filter coffee. Love my Dh! He knows how to cheer me up!

I'm in so much pain, its probably the worst AF I've ever had. I can't leave the house its so heavy. I hate this. Sorry to be so down but can't really talk at home as Ds who's 6 is aware I'm not well and desperately wants us to have a baby :(

Anyway, have updated ff and ready to start again whenever that will be.

Will be chasing appt next week and seeing gp.

Thanks everyone Thanks

toobreathless · 28/04/2012 17:44

rue sounds like you're on track. I have no idea where I am in my cycle. I had the Implanon out 5 weeks ago now & nothing since, no AF, no obvious ovulation signs. I did a pregnancy test cheapie 10 days or do ago (couldn't resist) BFN. The plan is to DTD every other day until AF or a BFP. May be a bit tricky next week though as I'm on nights & the inlaws are staying!
