Iesu bless you, Bitey! According to SF I am ovving today - there is no way I'm wasting money on another fruitless stick. I've spent enough money this Christmas

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 27/12/2011 12:10

Northey I know what you mean...bring on the low sugar high protein diet again in the new year she says having eaten half a bag of star mix and chocolate buttons
Now at the in laws. MSB is after buying a classic car. Funny how I've been after one for years but suddenly we can afford the one he wants.

FriendofDorothy · 27/12/2011 13:34

I am also planning my New Year diet - although it won't start until 8 January when we get back from the mainland!

We have just bought a Christmas Tree - half price in the sale :)

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 27/12/2011 20:31

Where are you Dotty?
I'm with the outlaws now actually get on fine with his side of the family including his step Mum but have never met my monster in law, long story . Been out for dinner. Even fatter now. Bleurgh.

eurochick · 27/12/2011 22:21

I went for a run this morning and a walk in the park this afternoon so I am feeling a bit less stale and fat now! (Despite the vast quantities of cake, chocolate and other crap I have put away.)

My MiL finally leaves tomorrow. She is very sweet but 6 days is too long for any houseguest. I want my sofa back!

FriendofDorothy · 27/12/2011 23:45

I live in the Channel Islands.

blondechristmas · 28/12/2011 01:41

After 64 days, a couple of false starts and a squillion wasted pee-sticks, it looks like the killer droid is finally making an appearance. Which is lucky, as I feel like I might kill someone.

Hope you've all had super-festive Christmases with all cheer and gin and that. And not too many sofa-hogging in-laws...

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 28/12/2011 10:28

Blimey blondie that's a long cycle. Well you have permission to wallow today.

Thanks fireball.

That's good sechsing baubies, not always easy over the Christmas period. Hope the ewcm carried the sperms in the right direction. V sorry to hear about your dog, I know very much how that feels and I will be keeping everything crossed.

V impressed by all your runs and exercise, we had a chat about going for a walk but in the end decided more chocolate and a family row would be more edifying.

eurochick · 28/12/2011 13:09

I hope your poorly chien gets better soon bugs.

My MiL has just left. KFZK is off seeing her to the station. Jaysus that was a long visit.

blonde that is a helluva cycle! Je suis on jour 18 and still haven't laid a bloody egg. I usually ov between days 14 and 16 so I am not amused that the ovulation drugs I am on for the first time seem to have hindered rather than helped! At least we don't have to have stealth sex any more. I have high hopes for a screaming orgasm later now we have the house to ourselves again! Grin

KatAndKit · 28/12/2011 13:14

bonjour les hags. Ca va?

Back home after xmas extravaganza. Have effectively had two christmasses. Very not good for the stomach but was fun though. But nice to have own sofa back and also own bed tonight will be lovely.

bugs hope your dog is better very soon.

FrostytheSunshine · 28/12/2011 15:56

Good work Euro

Sorry to hear about your dog Bugs & what a shame you are missing a night out. Can you reschedule?

We have our FC appointment tomorrow. I am struggling to think about anything else.

FriendofDorothy · 28/12/2011 17:11

I have just been for acupuncture. I am now struggling to keep my eyes open!

FrostytheSunshine · 28/12/2011 18:06

Is that the first time you've been Dot?

FriendofDorothy · 28/12/2011 19:12

No. bit is the second time I have seen this particular lady for fertility stuff. It was lovely and relaxing.

blondechristmas · 28/12/2011 19:19

Nice work Euro

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 28/12/2011 22:47

Well I'm feeling a bit tipsy. Had a luffly meal with a friend, she lives on the route home from my in laws so we figured why not? Now watching comedy on telly with MSB and Dad.
Tis nice work euro. I can't wait to move to our rented house and christen it

FriendofDorothy · 28/12/2011 23:20

I have just had a really weird moment - I have just heard that someone I knew from another internet forum shot three people before killing herself. It feels really odd to be grieving for someone I never met but feel like I knew. Who would have thought it was possible to feel so much for people you only knows at a distance. :(

KatAndKit · 29/12/2011 09:24

Oh my goodnes dor that's awful :( Also you definitely feel like you "know" people from the internet. I communicate more with people I know from forums, such as the ESH, than with some people that I know in real life.

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 29/12/2011 09:49

How sad dot :( I agree you definitely know people from online, in fact we're often more honest on here. Thinking of you and all those affected.

FrostytheSunshine · 29/12/2011 14:33

Bloody hell Dot that's a shock. Hope you're ok. Internet forums are a funny thing. We share intimate details about ourselves with people we don't know. But then we also meet some of the loveliest people who we come to rely upon for support when times are tough.

And today my time is tough. We found out that SSG has a chromosomal abnormality which explains why we haven't won a baybee yet. It also reduces our IVF chances. But there is still a chance, which is a Goid Thing. The consultant also told us that the PCT has decreased funding which means no treatment on the NHS until 2013. So we have to make a decision on whether to go private.

Lots to think about. But not today as it's our anniversary & we are going to go out later and have fun.
