Antibiotics should finish tomorrow, DH cant wait Grin. My parents come back on wednesday, Im seeing Ocean Colour Scene tomorrow and hopefully we will hear some good news about the flat this week. So Im in a good mood, I rode my bike into work, having a curry made by DH tonight. All is good.

Bluetinkerbell · 28/11/2011 11:26

fan yay! have fun with DH! Grin

Been going to the toilet more often this weekend... not usual for me... don't have a bladder infection cause it doesn't hurt and I do wee properly...
I'm probably symptom spotting for nothing... I'm on CD36, don't have a clue when to expect AF. My sense of smell is also better... but then I thought I had all these symptoms last month and wasn't pregnant.

who else would like to get involved in the Christmas card exchange? I will send out the list at the weekend, and shall we say post the cards after 15th of Dec? Then people have some time to sort cards out and they will still arrive before Christmas?

Mel hope you got lots of rest, did work go alright?

fan great news! Have lots of fun! :o

blue ooh do you think you've ovulated? When would you test? If it's any help dh saw a deal on amazon for about £6.50 for a double pack of clearblue pregnancy tests Wink Those dates sound fine to me :)

Bluetinkerbell · 28/11/2011 19:46

cheese I still have a Clearblue pregnancy test! As I bought a double pack when I thought I was pregnant with Sterre, as I couldn't quite believe I was pregnant, never used the 2nd test, so it's there waiting... I did a cheapo test yesterday, but it was negative.

Have moodswings today... and backache, but it's also all signs of AF... so it's wait and see!

OP posts:
TooImmature2BDumbledore · 28/11/2011 21:35

Oooh, fingers crossed, Blue! How long would be reasonable to wait before testing again?

Fan, have fun tomorrow! Wink Ocean Colour Scene sounds great - there's a blast from the past! You sound highly virtuous cycling to work, too. Am totally impressed.

Mel, how is the return to work going? I am back after a week off, but am consoling myself with the thought that it's a short week because of the strike on Wed. It is very hard to concentrate, after lunch in particular!

Bluetinkerbell · 28/11/2011 22:05

Pff I will probably wait till I'm on CD45... which would be Wednesday 7th!
Maybe I will test positive when CBFM arrives, you never know Wink
Do you reckon I can get out with not carrying boxes next week if I do test positive Grin

janedoe25 · 28/11/2011 22:07

finger crossed blue!

fan enjoys ocs, i well jelous!

MelMal · 29/11/2011 07:23

Fan I've seen OCS so many times and they never fail to deliver. Enjoy it.
Blue everything crossed for you. Trying not to build it up but I had symptoms similar and was then convinced I was getting af and was crying and then we got our bfp! Everything crossed xxx
Too I'm managing ok, am pretty tired when I get home but off shiftwork so that should help.
Scan on 7th so not much longer to wait. Should be 12 weeks then. Hope everything's ok.
Goodmorning to everyone else (manic waves!) xx

fanjodisfunction · 29/11/2011 08:02

(manic waves back at the other early poster mel)

I cant wait for tonight going be so good, they are going to play Moseley Shoals the whole way through. I really wanted to see them when I was 15 and now I get the chance.

mel how exciting fx everything is well for the scan.

its going to be a busy old day, got lots to do at work, also ringing around chasing up stuff for the flat, then go home get changed drive to bournemouth to watch OCS then drive home (im driving as the only one in the family who knows how). Then tomorrow up early to clean the house, do the grocery shopping and then up town to wait for the parents coach to arrive and also a bit of final christmas shopping. I think Im going to have to write a list, so I dont forget anything!

fanjodisfunction · 29/11/2011 08:53

ok girls need a bit of advice how to I count this month so I know when to test for ov? If Im to go by the last time I started AF then that means im on CD30 today, but on CD18 I started to bleed like an AF for three days, then continues spotting till I was put on the af stopping drugs. So do I go from the last date of af or from the last time I bled heavier? And if I am on CD30 then I guess I have to wait for af to arrive again? I look at these dates and times and think could I be pg? But we only did it once this month. I guess really Im going to have to wait for af to arrive, but by what dates do I go by? God damn body!

janedoe25 · 29/11/2011 09:35

fan sorry I have no idea.

I am out this month, started spotting this morning af on her way Sad. It's starting to feel like it will never happen, we are now heading onto month 7.

Bluetinkerbell · 29/11/2011 09:50

fan and jane my cycle is confusing me too, I'm on CD37 and my temps are all over the place... this morning I had a temperature rise... my chart Fertility Friend hasn't detected ov yet... Hmm and Confused although I thought last Tuesday I had EWCM, but then on Sunday I thought the same!

DD1 was very sad this morning. I was telling her that we were going to Sterre on Sunday after church and she asked if I could take her out of the box then. :( We then had a look at Sterre's pics and gave her teddy a big cuddle... She asked on the way to playgroup if she could have a baby to cuddle and play with that would grow in my tummy first.

Same here Jane getting very frustrated with it taking so long... I got pregnant with Sterre the first month after I stopped my pill... and I wasn't even focussing on getting pregnant then.

fanjodisfunction · 29/11/2011 10:59

its a frustrating time isnt it blue and jane* I tried for 18 months for Ophelia then two months for it to end in cp and so its now 5 months Im desperate for a BFP, Im a bit emotional today. Wasnt when I woke up I felt really good but a guy in the office his DIL is going in today to have her twins by c section and well everyone is so excited for him and I am aswell but it makes me sad, I so want to be pg again it really hurts today.

Lets have a feeling down because of no BFP group hug (((((((( jane & blue ))))))))

fanjodisfunction · 29/11/2011 11:00

I think I will just have to wait it out, just have fun till AF arrives and fx crossed that this is all a run up to a bfp like it was last time.

AugustMoon · 29/11/2011 12:51

Hi ladies (more manic waves)
Also having a down day, well, not so much today as yesterday. My friend bought her beautiful baby boy on the school run for the first time and I took one look at him and welled up and had to run away go. Actually felt a physical ache in my heart for not having my baby. Symptom spotting here too - ravenously hungry and funny smelling wee (sorry tmi), although, admittedly quite random ov tests never revealed anything happening, what do you reckon?
Blue fingers crossed for you
Cheese thinking of you at this difficult time
Fan sorry I have no advice on your chart :( Thanks for posting it though - I'm going to get a thermometer and start mine when if AF comes.
jane :(
Mel counting down the days to yr scan with you x

AugustMoon · 29/11/2011 12:54

btw on CD 23

ciwi · 29/11/2011 17:01

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been on much, been really busy with work. The positives of that is that I am now 24+4 and haven't had that many meltdowns in the last few days.
fan, jane blue and august I really feel for you all on the ttc journey it can be so upsetting and stressful. I really hope you all get your bfp's very soon xxx
fan I think you are doing the right thing just dtd and hope for the best, I think it would be too difficult to know when you are due to ov unless you got a load of ic's and poas all the time!
august funny smelling wee can be a sign, I always think it smells like man wee.
blue how sad that your dd said that, it must have been upsetting for you x
jane sorry af arrived, maybe 7 will be your lucky number, I really hope so x
mel nearly 12 weeks! yay

Countmyblessings · 29/11/2011 18:23

Sorry too tired to name check but love to all xxx

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 29/11/2011 21:43

Blue, definitely no box-lifting if you get your BFP! That's an automatic get-out.

Mel, hope next week comes around quickly for you. My next scan is the 8th, so the day after yours. FX for both beans.

Hope Fan is enjoying OCS tonight! Did you get everything done? I have no idea where you count from, Fan, so perhaps you should just dtd every 2 or 3 days and see how you get on. Can I hug all of you who are still waiting for your BFPs?

Hi Ciwi! Glad the last few days haven't been too bad. It's good to hear from you and check that you're still okay. 24+4, yay!

Angel, have a lovely birthday and pampering!

I have been having a mixed time. I got up to pee at 5 this morning and then when I got back to bed spent ages torturing myself because Bean wasn't kicking. I fell asleep in the end and when the alarm went off at 6.30 she was kicking before I was even really conscious. We got Thea's headstone delivered yesterday - it is beautiful. My boss told me at a team meeting that I had to get on with a job I had been allocated, adding 'it's not a criticism'. Well, it sounded like one, and the reason I haven't done it is because I have just been off sick for 6 days! When we got home DH baked me a surprise chocolate cake with Nutella filling because I was so cross and grumpy. Our new mattress has finally been delivered after a nightmare with the delivery company, and I get to sleep in tomorrow because I'm on strike. I think we'll take the headstone to the cemetery and sort everything out there - lay the stone and replant the flowers PIL planted last time they were up.

Bluetinkerbell · 29/11/2011 22:43

I just finished DD's Christmas present! Grin I made a doorway theatre all by myself with a sewing machine! My mum is super proud of me Grin just need to finish some details and still make a bag to put it all in! But I'm so chuffed!

I was chatting with a friend after she put a status about pregnant women on FB. She said on her status she knew loads of pregnant women or ladies who just had a baby and she's suspects two other people she knows to announce that they're pregnant. She told me I was one of those two women and that she dreamt I was pregnant. She said I would have my BFP before Christmas! Grin
I so hope she's right!

I know it is sad she said that, but I know she meant it well and that she will never forget Sterre as her first little sister. She always asks to listen to my heart and says she can hear Sterre in it :)

Morning all Smile
Been soooo busy with work, ds rugby tournaments and so on.
cheese I will be thinking of you on Friday and sending my love.
fan hope you enjoyed yourself last night. I would poas just to rule out a bfp (or not) as it only takes the once!!! Then as said by others I would dtd as often as poss until AF arrives (or hopefully doesnt Wink).
I really do wish BFP to jane, blue, fan, august and count. I no how hard trying is and although the bfp brings with it lots of other anxieties and fears it does still allow us a smidgin of hope. Good luck girls x
too hope laying Thea's stone brings an element of peace. Glad bean is bouncing around but very jealous Envy. My movements are still fairly limited, bloody placenta planting itself in an annoying position!!
ciwi so pleased you have been able to relax.....wow, the over 24 week milestone, how fab!!
angel enjoy your birthday and pampering Envy Im clearly in a very jealous mood today!!
I have my 20 week scan on Friday followed by another at oxford on the tuesday.......god I am still so fearful about them, guess that will always be the way.

AngelGeorgie · 30/11/2011 10:27

Razz thanks x. Good luck for your scan. Like me dpn t think you ll ever enjoy scans they are a means to an end.xxx
Hi all. Love to everyone xxx

AugustMoon · 30/11/2011 10:52

Morning. First of all Blue can I say i'm also a bit Envy about your amazing sewing skills! I have 2 pairs of school trousers that need taking up and some buttons to sew on a coat and I really don't know where to start! Got my mum's old sewing machine in the cupboard under the stairs but its rapidly gathering dust! The shame!
On another note, my bff is pregnant. Had her 12 wk scan yesterday and texted me to tell me. Obviously I'm happy for her but it just feels, to quote Bob Dylan, like a corkscrew to the heart. It's just one thing after another and things seem to be getting harder if anything.
On top of that DH has been in a really strange mood. All argumentative and aloof / self-righteous. Not sure what's going on but I'm getting a bit sick of it. He won't accept I might have a different opinion on anything, every time I do he insults me saying i'm ignorant or insecure. And he was squeezing me so hard last night I literally couldn't breathe and then he got the hump when I shrugged him off in my sleep!
Hi everyone else, thanks razz, too and ciwi for the virtual (()) Thanks

Bluetinkerbell · 30/11/2011 10:58

haha August it's not perfect, you can definitely see I am still an amateur. But is was made with much love for DD1 Wink
I wouldn't have a clue how to take up school trousers Wink I would probably just about manage to sew on a button Grin

hugs for everyone
