my last cycle was also 34 days so i'm not testing until no af by next thurs/fri. she hasn't arrived yet but this month i'm not optimistic still though secretly hoping!!!

Sadly it's cd1 for me today, the evil witch showed up this morning, but I have made it quite clear she is not welcome again after this visit for at least 9 months. I went to a 2nd birthday party with DD today and all my ante natal group were there and all bar one (and me of course) were sporting bumps or new babies. Twas a bit sad and one girl in particular was quizzing me about my plans for another. I said we weren't ready yet, but felt v sad inside. She was being nice, so I didn't want to yell at her, but it almost made me want to confide in someone in real life. The party was very nice anyway!

Anyhoo, I am going to be positive and brook no argument for this month. Off to have some wine now. Hope everyone is having nice weekends.

Though with DD at a party its not like you can mope off to the loo to console yourself with 10 min peace either, so good job you!

jen I would think that was A Sign. Now I'm thinking of buying tests even though I don't think I can be preggers with all the imminent af signs which are rocking up. Will look forward to your 'proper' BFP on monday!!

oh generic thats rotten. I have a couple of real life friends (basically my nct group) who know about the whole ttc thing. i think my nct group is a good show for how difficult it is to actually concieve naturally as out of 7 babies (5 couples, 5 first babies and now 2 siblings) we have one ivf baby, 2 clomid babies, once couple need gene screening for ivf for a second and we are taking ages!
got to go dinners ready

i think the point i was trying to make was it is good to be able to confide in someone in rl occasionally. scuse me but am a bit pissed.

well, still no af. still no signs of anything other than another longer cycle though.

Except that I'm driving myself crazy- no more spotting, had a wee in the night the last 2 nights (but it must be pointed out, AFTER DH woke up and went for one and i've always been open to suggestion like that) BUT got all normal af-type spots, feel pre menstrual

Am definitely going a bit mad....

ninja good you've got friends in your nct group to talk to who'd totally get it. A freind of a friend has just had an ivf baby- who they spent nearly £25000 on the ivf for-their life savings (both high earners). And my friends sister had ivf twins-then got pg naturally when they were 3 months old and she was gutted!!! she didn't think she could cope with 3 under 1 1/2 plus had a bad c-section infection and they said she may have had to abort the baby anyway as her womb may have broken down and not be physically able to carry to term. I think she's just had, or just about to have that baby though!! so i think of her too to cheer myself up

Well cd29 here and no sign of AF so far. Boobs have been hurting for the last few days but got a BFN this morning :(

Lol, i did think you'd gone back in time jaggy. i'm on cd 30 but hoping i didn't stop the shagthon too early. I should go back to lurking obsessively and stop being negative on our lovely, positive thread!!!! The BFP's will be rolling in v soon.

A BFN doesn't count properly til af arrives- PEE STICKS LIE!!! Of course you can get a false negative but never a false positive Thats the way we like it!!!

Oh no Generic I'm so for you. I was absolutely convinced it was your turn. Good on you for dealing with the party so well and good work opening the last night.

Jen you will get your BFP, we are guilty of persuading you to test too early. Another couple of days and I'm sure the result will be positive.

CD28 and 11DPO for me. No sign of AF or pregnancy. I'm on edge. TBH I'm not feeling it this month, but that may be more to do with not wanting to feel completely gutted if it doesn't happen. I've decided to test on Wednesday if no AF before then.

Where is everyone today? Are you hanging out with my missing positive pee stick AF?

err, jen, i reckon you me and scarlett are lurking, me and scarlett torturing ourselves with thoughts of BFN's, and me checking out on ebay the CBFM AKA Shag Dictator! If when no BFP this month i'm soooooooo tempted. Scarlett there seem to be quite good deals on the CBFM pee sticks on ebay....

Have been relatively distracted this afternoon as we went to the lakes- not much walking- i've got a sore knee, but saw some lovely waterfalls which DD loved, and DH bought DD a gorgeous Spotty Otter snuggly fleecy waterproof suit for winter (full price- this is indeed a miracle and maybe A Sign) see how desperate I am for signs?! Of which incidentally there are none...

I realised on a 34 day cycle AF would be due Thurs... so blinking ages to wait...

scarlett, missed your post before-I know just what you mean and i'm being snappy to dh and generally irrational and just have that 'please oh please let this be the month' feeling while being quite sure it isn't... Chin up!!
