Welcome across Rat Smackers! Glad you found the place okay. This is THE MONTH when we get those deceitful pee sticks to own up to the BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS - we are all already preggers! After all; positive people get positive pee sticks!

I hope you all like what I've done with our new home

You'll note the updated title, courtesy of farfalla. Various healthy snacks have been set out on the coffee tables, to ensure our bumps are receiving the appropriate nutritional balance

Also, my personal favourite adjustment, you'll note the strategically positioned peephole, right here, providing us with a sneaky preview of the utopian delights awaiting us in the NO BROOKING vomitorium ante-natal thread.

So let's get to it preggos! Remember: see a rat - smack it!

generic deffo pg!

scarletfingernail · 12/08/2011 09:58

Sad really sorry to hear that COD. I hope you've told her that this is the last time she's to visit for a long time and that she is no way welcome to return until your holding your next babycod.

Generic I have a good feeling about you this month. It is deffo preggo symptom. Send me some of your preggo vibes please.

CODwidow · 12/08/2011 10:03

Thank you everyone, I know I already have 4 wonderful dc's so very blessed but still doesn't alter that longing i feel.
It just feels like it'll never happen I stopped the injection over 18 months ago now and af still arrives each month!! Aaarrrggghgh rant over Smile

NinjaChipmunk · 12/08/2011 10:23

Was it the depo injection? when i came off it about 6 years ago i was told by gp it can take up to about 18 months to completely leave your system? Maybe its just that?
And for what its worth, it doesn't matter how many kids you already have, if the longing is there, you can't just make it go away. Have you had any blood tests to check you are ovulating again?

jenfraggle · 12/08/2011 10:27

I've got a weird pulsating ache in my stomach. Never had that before. Normally when AF is due my left leg aches

GenericDietCola · 12/08/2011 10:27

Oh COD you will get there. It takes a while to get back to normal after being on the injection, so I'm sure it will happen soon enough. I know what you mean about the longing - I have one DD, but I long for another. I know I'm lucky to have one though.

Come on Scarlet join me in some positive visualisation...

Our beans are implanting safely and growing rapidly. Next week, we will each be holding a positive peestick, then rushing to tell our DHs. Pretty soon we will start feeling sick and tired, but we will be happy because this is a Good Sign! In time, we will go for our scans and each see a waving, happy baby wriggling about on the screen. By Christmas we will have glorious 5 month bumps, swathed in gorgeous maternity winter fashions (thanks Ninja ). Come the end of April our lovely babies will be born (safely and with as little pain as possible) - aaah!

Dream how are you today?

GenericDietCola · 12/08/2011 10:28

Ooh Jen a new symptom to add to the list!

dreamfeeder · 12/08/2011 10:48

I am indifferent. No signs which wouldn't be pre-menstrual. I am not feeling preggo, at all. Hence my lurking so my negativity doesn't rub off on you!!! I don't dare do the visualisation yet, I want it toooooomuch!!!!!! I will visualise next weekend if no af by then!!! I keep visualising DD playing with her sibling.... longing for another Smile

Bad news cod. Definitely next month though- that blinking injection has got to wear off soon!

generic, you're deffo up the duff, when are you going to hold out to before testing? Wed? Are we expecting you to test this weekend scarlett?! I'm sure you said you're an early tester!!! I have no tests in the house, so i can't be tempted, i just want to know one way or another now, and if i'm not preggers, as i suspect, af needs to HURRY UP so we can get cracking on smacking that rat into smithereens next month!!!!

GenericDietCola · 12/08/2011 10:54

Oh dream you are still very much in the game. I'm with you in visualising DD playing with a sibling - last weekend we saw dnephew (3 months) and DD was very taken with him. I so want her to have a sibling!

I will probably cave in and test this weekend as I have loads of cheapies in the cupboard at home. I would ideally wait until Wed until AF is good and late, but I'm dying to know.

In case I'm not, I like the idea of smacking the rat to smithereens and will join in with that if necessary but it won't be because I am preggers

Scarlet when are you confirming your obvious pregnancy?

GenericDietCola · 12/08/2011 10:57

I wonder if anyone from the ante-natal thread is lurking and can give us a pep talk re brooking no argument?

Biscuitsandtea · 12/08/2011 11:12

I am always lurking Blush I am desperate for one of you to confirm your obvious pg.

I'm not probably the brookiest person though as have just booked an early scan for next week (when I'll be 8 weeks) and am pretty scared about ti all.

HOWEVER you WILL all get there! If I can you all can. KEEP THE FAITH. Positive thinking is the way forward - I love all your visualisation techniques and the effortlessly glamourous maternity clothes :)

REMEMBER: See a rat? SMACK IT!!!

The problem is not yours - it is that of the stupid pee sticks who seem to think they can make up whether or not we are all pregnant. You just need to find a compliant one.

I have high hopes that over the course of the next week or so several of you will be rushing through the club doors to the vomitorium (rushing because you need to get to our stash of sick buckets).

I just wish I was needing a sick bucket - feeling very un-sympomy at the moment Sad

Keep at it ladies!

GenericDietCola · 12/08/2011 11:17

Yay! Thanks Biscuits! Glad you've got a scan - I'm sure everything will be just fine and we will brook no argument!

< offers Biscuits a chair and a cookie and probably a sick bucket for after she has eaten the cookie >

jenfraggle · 12/08/2011 11:18

Mingle with us Biscuits, hopefully it's catching

Imps7 · 12/08/2011 11:36

Yay hello Biscuits. Always nice to have a pep talk from a Pee Stick Endorsed Pregnant Person. Good luck with the scan - I am brooking no argument that it will all be perfect.

jaggythistle · 12/08/2011 11:42

Cheers biscuits. :)

Feels like this 2ww is going to be very long for some reason. No pee sticks in my house either (except for the emergency CBD at the back of the cupboard, for confirmation of confirmation)

GenericDietCola · 12/08/2011 12:00

Jaggy you're only a few days into it aren't you? I'm sure you'll get to use the emergency CBD this month!

I am feeling v faint and woozy and getting seriously obsessed with symptom spotting

Will have to confirm at weekend, I can't stand the wait.

thelittlefriend · 12/08/2011 12:34

it's sooo booring before you ovulate. I really need to get more of a life.

Imps7 · 12/08/2011 12:43

Oh little - couldn't agree more! It seems like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS since AF arrived but I've still got a week until ovulation! The perils of being a late egg popper (day 18/19 normally). The snail trail has arrived today though which is good - at least the timings are consistent so I know where I am.

I have my office to myself for the next couple of hours so I will mostly be shutting my eyes and trying to crack this visualisation malarky working very hard given the peace and quiet I will have.

Imps7 · 12/08/2011 12:47

Can I just clarify who will be getting their BFPs imminently?

Dream
Generic
Scarlet
Jen
Ninja

Is that right??? Good work at the cycle synchronisation, preggos!

COD, sorry about AF but wahoo for being 2 days into your pregnancy! This is your month!! SEE A RAT: SMACK IT.

pommedechocolat · 12/08/2011 12:47

I am from the original thread led by the mighty Aubers and from the antenatal thread.

I am also bored at work today so doing a lot of mnetting :)

Brook. No. Argument. Clamber on at the important times and make sure you do something that means that 'The timing just couldn't be worse..' (that was our version of your positive pee stick cheer!).

Biscuits has a big sofa and a glittery bucket over the other side waiting for you! We are also single handedly supporting the private ultra scanning clinics in the UK as our way of helping the economy back onto its feet.

thelittlefriend · 12/08/2011 12:50

pomme good to see you! It seems like ages since you got your bfp, how far gone are you?

It least now you can do some constructive swi Imps

Imps7 · 12/08/2011 12:52

Oh, also,

Farfalla, maybe and have - if you're out there, I hope you're okay.

pommedechocolat · 12/08/2011 12:54

hey littlefriend! I am now 10 weeks gone by LMP dates and am well into my mental rota of hospital appointments as I count as high risk.

It feels like it is passing so slowly though.

thelittlefriend · 12/08/2011 13:02

Has everyone seen this?

It's a story from a couple of months ago, found it when googling. Get flossing Rat Smackers!

(Pomme I hope all hospital appointments have been positive news. Best of luck to you)

Imps7 · 12/08/2011 13:40

Wow, that's a new one on me little! Lack of flossing = lack of BFP...the mind boggles Hmm

Come on girls - let's Floss for Fertility!!
