Welcome across Rat Smackers! Glad you found the place okay. This is THE MONTH when we get those deceitful pee sticks to own up to the BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS - we are all already preggers! After all; positive people get positive pee sticks!

I hope you all like what I've done with our new home

You'll note the updated title, courtesy of farfalla. Various healthy snacks have been set out on the coffee tables, to ensure our bumps are receiving the appropriate nutritional balance

Also, my personal favourite adjustment, you'll note the strategically positioned peephole, right here, providing us with a sneaky preview of the utopian delights awaiting us in the NO BROOKING vomitorium ante-natal thread.

So let's get to it preggos! Remember: see a rat - smack it!

Well I feel completely and utterly not pregnant today. No sign of AF yet but feel really normal and unsymptomy.

Solars · 12/08/2011 13:49

So sorry to hear about AF Cod but as someone has already said you're already 2 days PG! Plus we're almost cycle buddies as i'm on CD5.

I know exactly what you mean Imps and little it's so boring waiting for ovulation but with so many imminent confirmations coming up it's not been so bad this month. I'm so excited for all you testers. Is there a diary of events??

What do we want?
Positive pee sticks....

Solars · 12/08/2011 13:53

No symptoms doesn't necessarily mean no PG Jen, I know quite a few people who have felt nothing but got BFPS....will visualisation help?

jenfraggle · 12/08/2011 15:14

Shouldn't have said anything. Now my right breast has a pulsating pain. It's always the right, never the left

jenfraggle · 12/08/2011 15:19

Really bad heartburn as well now. That's a good pg symptom right?

dreamfeeder · 12/08/2011 16:39

imps, i think you're right about your confirmers except i think ninja is just starting the Shagathon. I had also heard about the flossing for fertility- I floss!!! DH doesn't and won't...

not that i think i will be confirming this month unfortunately, but next month i will be Brooking No Argument, Positively visualising and buying the shag dictator AKA CBFM if i can sneak it past dh or if not some opks and definitely getting a bfp!! unless maybe just maybe despite some normal af symptoms coming i get a bfp this month

jen, with my DD i had no symptoms at all, diddly squat except i had to get up and wee in the night for like 4 days in a row then a bfp!! but lots don't even have that so you are still in the game Grin

CODwidow · 12/08/2011 18:21

Well I'm back from depression Grin I'm sure it is just the drop getting out of my system and now it's been 18 months bfp is sure to follow next month!Grin

Thanks to everyone for support and solars I'll be following your pregnancy (which is obviously going to happen) closely Wink

jenfraggle · 12/08/2011 18:27

This is your month COD

Imps7 · 12/08/2011 19:09

Oooh, there's talk of the Pee Stick Endorsed Pregnant People presenting us with Welcome Packs when we finally graduate to the vomitorium!! That does it, I am DEFINITELY brooking no argument now - there's a glittery vom bucket and a pork pie in it for god's sake!

Biscuitsandtea · 12/08/2011 19:15

I thought I saw someone with a glass up against the wall Imps Wink

CODwidow · 12/08/2011 20:48

Ooo I mean depo Blush

dreamfeeder · 12/08/2011 20:52

Oh, I REALLY want a Welcome Pack. Last time I used a roll of swing bin liners which came everywhere with me and i am very willing to upgrade to a glittery vom bucket (as long as I don't have to clean it) Grin.

Know what you meant COD, after 18 months it surely surely must be getting the last bit out, right about now!!

dreamfeeder · 12/08/2011 20:53

and Imps, have you dared go into the vomitorium!?! If you have, i'm off for a nosey too Wink

GenericDietCola · 12/08/2011 20:56
NinjaChipmunk · 12/08/2011 21:27

jen i had no symptoms whatsoever when pg with ds, to the extent i was worried about the 12 week scan as i thought i may have got the test wrong and there was no baby!
Sorry to hear there are some negative thoughts creeping in with a few people. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and that light is the 'way in' sign at the doors of the vomitorium. We'll get there. There may be a lot of shagging, weeing and twinge-y bits on the way but we will get there.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 12/08/2011 22:14

Hello preggos! I'm just poking my head round the door to see how you're all getting on. I hope there will be some exciting confirmations over the weekend

Oooooo looking forward to the welcome packs from the vomitorium! Glittery sick buckets to go with our effortlessly glamorous maternity clothes, can't wait!

I'm at 5 DPO up here, and impatiently waiting for some imaginary symptoms to start up. As an insanely early tester I'll be getting out the pee sticks next week. Very disappointed that this means I'll be too late to confirm on this thread though. That will make me the first No Brooking OP to NOT get a confirmation within the thread they set up! Still, when I finally do get through those sliding doors at least there will be glittery buckets waiting!

On the other hand I've only just realised just how much revision I need to get done before my exams at the end of this month, so this really is the WORST POSSIBLE TIME to be dealing with morning sickness. Grin

Will be back properly when I get back home next week. Good luck everyone!!

Almost cycle buddy at 3dpo here scream. :) No pee sticks here though, I'm still aff them.

Still the worst possible time for me with that wedding Abroad looming and also a Big Night Out in a few weeks. Someone buy me a dress please, I'm a shit shopper. If BFP was before the BIG Night Out I would be so busted due to lack of getting absolutely steaming!

jaggythistle · 12/08/2011 22:31

it's not that BIG, just a typo :) :)

Imps7 · 13/08/2011 07:45

Jaggy you should make it your mission to make it a BIG Night Out, rather than just a Big Night Out! Such a shame you won't be able to have a good few drinks at the wedding given that you'll have got your BFP by then.

OH and I have got a very rare weekend at home by ourselves this weekend, which I've been looking forward all week...just a shame we have so much decorating to do. Am obviously hoping for a couple of shags, but OV is likely to be Thursday so it's not the Critical Time just yet. Annoyingly he's away on Monday and Tuesday night so am not rating our chances this cycle very highly. Bring on September, I say!

Right, best crack on then.

GenericDietCola · 13/08/2011 08:15

Hi scream hope you're having lovely hols - you're nearly half way through the 2ww already - hurrah!

Jaggy sounds like a case of the timing couldn't be worse, so I expect you'll get your confirmation in a week or two as well.

Imps sounds lovely - make sure you enjoy it and get a couple of shags in because the swimmers can last for a few days so it's worth a go

How are you today Dream and Scarlet?

Still preggo here, just awaiting pee stick confirmation, but until I've peed on anything that decides otherwise I'm still preggo right?

Imps7 · 13/08/2011 09:19

Oooh I've taken the plunge and posted on the Baby Names board!!! I am aware that is slightly premature, but it's all in the aid of positive thinking and avoiding doing the decorating

Pfffft of course you're still preggo Generic - don't let anything (and particularly a pee stick) convince you otherwise.

When's testing day Scream???

dreamfeeder · 13/08/2011 10:58

jaggy, definitely timing couldn't be worse, you'll be getting that BFP, probably as soon as you buy a dress you could wear to the Wedding Abroad and will then not fit into (my now-shit tummy muscles will be allowing me to show from 8 weeks anyway [smile)

generic PREGGO!!!! Hope all is well in the scarlett household, you promised early testing did you not???

Off to lurk again - and actually go out for lunch and a walk with DH, DD and friends so will be distracted thank goodness.

imps, those swimmers can live 5 days, get swi! an then wed and thurs to get that rat smacked

scarletfingernail · 13/08/2011 13:40

Generic you are pregnant for sure, the pee stick will just make it official.

CD27 for me. My cycles were always 28 until my last MC and since then it's ranged from 26-34 so I will be holding for a few more days until I test. Especially as I know I didn't ovulate until CD17.

No AF symptoms as yet but my positivity is fluctuating. One minute I'm convinced I'm pregnant and working out the when I'll reach the various milestones and the next I'm convinced that there's no way it's happening this month.

dream have you tested yet? It's days since you said you thought AF was knocking at the door, I take it you're still not letting her in? When are you testing?

Got a busy weekend in RL so might not get to call in again until Monday (although I'll probably sneak in for a few mins tomorrow to congratulate Generic once she's confirmed)

jenfraggle · 13/08/2011 16:01

Well AF is due today but she's not here yet and usually starts overnight/first thing in the morning. Now I have said this I am sure she will turn up this afternoon just to punish me. Pee sticks arrived today so will give them a try to check that they are not the faulty type next week

Generic you are most deffo upduffed, we just need to find you the right pee stick to confirm it

Imps7 · 13/08/2011 16:51

Oooooooooh Jen!!! Bring on the BFP!! We need one on this thread - we haven't had one yet so far have we???
