Hi jag123 are you planning on BD'ing tonight ? best to do it ever 2 days so there is sperm ready for the egg. Just don't want you to miss it like I did (although I don't think my body is quite up to carrying a baby yet)

Thanks guys... JAG on the 2nd and subsequent months it should only ask you for the 8 sticks you have in one pack. So it should only ask you for sticks until CD17? I think if it started on CD9?

I've been using a Persona for conceiving for about 18 months but with a break where my hubby plundged my old one to a watery death (he said not on purpose but I suspect otherwise!! It took me several months to get a replacement.

Fingers crossed Norm. CD 33 for me and still no af. BFN this morning. My blood test results came back from the doctors, I did ov this month. If it happened when I thought, I'll be due on tomorrow. So hopefully I can get going on my 3rd cycle with Persona asap!

HI, best to read the leaflet enclosed & take a look at the website persona.org.uk there is quite a good slide shpw on there as well.

But a quick reply is it works by detecting hormones in your wee. You need to press the m button in your testing window, then from day 6 you'll be asked to test (also need to check exact details).

Mojomummy the reflexology was great & really relaxed me. As for the BD did plan to do it but DH came to bed late & i had fallen asleep.

CD18 for me on my 3rd Persona cycle. Still showing the red light. Again, finished all my tests and no ov sign. Relied on CM instead. Not very impressed so far!
Now the REALLY TIRESOME bit where I have to wait 15 days to test.

Hi girls ..yesterday was the first day of my cycle, therefore i have switched Persona on this monday. It's not as hard as i had imagined. switched it on & the Green light came on. The leaflet says that the first test will be on day six!

Eldestgirl, that happened to me this month, so I splashed out and bought some ov kits aswell! Which said ov was around day 21/22. The doctor also sent me for a blood test which confirmed that I have oved. So maybe Persona just missed the window? No AF yet, but if I oved late that would be due today/tomorrow. Got a BFN yesterday though, so not looking good this month.

Sorry Norms. Feel a bit weird myself, like I'm getting ill, thick head and very sleepy. Can't be pg symptoms as if I can get them, I'd surly get a bfp. Just an af waiting game. Hope it comes today, then I'll be on the same cd as you and we can compare symptoms!

CD12 for me & did manage to bd last night. The couple of times i used ov kits in the past (clearblue & clearblue digital)it showed ov at cd13 so it will be interesting to see what persona says.

Strike Looks like its up to you this month for a BFP hopefully you have tested too early & just need a couple of more days to get it.

It's all a bit confusing. I think I ov'd around CD14/15 based on CM. BD on those days so I am hopeful...as usual.
You know I really do think that you can lengthen your cycle just by wondering whether you are pg. When I have little or no hope, it's 29 days, but any hope and I am up to 33 days with sore boobs! Last month, I did the test and literally as the BFN showed up, AF started. Mind over matter?

know what you mean Eldestgirl my cycle has always been 26 days on the dot but the last few months when we have really tried at 'right times' my cycle is sometimes cd28/29 & you get your hopes up just to be let down again.
oh well hopefully one day soon it will be for real.

No pressure then Jag!! I agree Eldest, thinking about it does seem to delay it, but then, my doctor said that the amount of time from ov to af stays the same, so maybe you can delay ov by thinking about it too much? Who knows, just wish I could get the whole thing up and running and stop worrying so much, but after 1 m/c and no childen yet, getting the bfp will be the start of the major worry I think!

Sorry Strike didn't me to add pressure we put enough pressure on ourselves without others doing it. I just hope it does work for you this month.

When will you test again?

Well I think af has started but (tmi coming up) It was just light brown last night and is still the same this morning. I expect it'll pick up in a few hours, but then I've missed my 35 day window with Persona. Does it let you press the M button on cd 36? Oh now I just want af to get going.

Strike, Persona lets you press the M button up to CD99 (that's what mine was flashing when I dug it out 3 months ago). If you are using it as contraception, a cycle of more than 35 days will result in a lot of red days, as it is harder to gauge when you are fertile. However, if you are using it to measure ovulation, it doesn't matter so much, although obviously you may not have enough test sticks to catch the ovulation day if your cycle is very long.
Sorry about AF. I am stuck on CD19 and trying not to think about sore boobs, as this has happened for the last 4 months.
Was in a down mood today as one of my friends has conceived no 3 whilst taking the pill! Feeling a tad hard done by as have been off the pill since 2001.
