Anyone using Persona to Conceive this month ?

That's it really. I'm CD 6, having red days, planning my BD-ing & wandering if anyone else is in the same boat as me...?

I think i got my O sign on day 16/17 on my first cycle with persona and nothing this time....wonder if it means anything?

Hmm, well I am on day 15 now & yesterday & today I wasn't asked to test & the red light was on. Suspect the green light will be on tomorrow, so that will be it for this month..

I searched the bin for my used persona sticks & found 2 with faint double lines - am assuming not enough hormone to ovo ? will call persona later & find out

My previous attempt with Persona was fine the first month too but subsequent months did seem a bit hit and miss giving me the "O"! I suppose it is just trying to work out the days to request the tests in the first few months and/or my cycle is too complicated to plot! Probably the later although I am in the limits given in the book!
Mojomummy did you get a response from Persona?

Well I caved and did a test this morning, a first response, bfn Although I knew I probably hadn't oved this month I'm still a bit fed up. A least I went for a blood test on Monday to try and investigate why I'm not oving every month, in the mean time I might just catch one of those rare eggs, if they decide to show up next month. Still waiting for af, hope she hurrys up, then I can start the whole thing again. I feel like I've been doing this forever and it's only been 6 months since my m/c.

have you had any reflexology/alternative treatments since your m/c ? do I rememeber you from the TTC thread? Apparently the liver & spleen get a bit 'flat'. Not sure what this mean, but gather it's not good news.
When do you get the results of your blood test ?

Strike - Sorry about BFN

CD6 for me & it did ask me to test then gave me a red. Is this normal for the first test as it is trying to work out my cycle?

Does the Persona work the same as opks ie showing a hormone surge that it presumes ovulation or does it definately detect that an egg has been released?
Sorry for all the questions , just trying to work it all out. I'm TTC after having Breast Cancer including Chemo 4.5yrs ago.
I was told that there was a 70% chance that i wouldn't be able to conceive again. Although i think that this is just a general percentage given out. Anyway my periods continued regularly (which i take as a good sign) & i have had surges on opks but i wonder whether i am just kidding myself.

Anyway i wish everyone lots of luck & hope we get a BPF soon

Hi Jag123, yes normal to get the red light. You'd better get bd-ing tonight & then every other night

if you go to the persona.org.uk site there is an graph which shows how the sticks pick up the 2 x hormone surges. I thought it was quite good, although it does run quite fast.

I understand that when the egg shows, it means you will ovulate within 12-48 hrs, normally 36. However, I've yet to compare this with doing my temperature & monitoring CM.

Isn't it amazing, discussing such personal things with complete strangers !!!

I know but somehow its much easier everyones in the same boat more or less & knows how heartbreaking it is every month when AF comes.

Strike sorry to hear about your BFN! Mojomummy accupuncturist sounds like a plan. My mum (bless her!) treated me to an aromatherapy neck & shoulder massage session yesterday - my first ever! Wow did I feel fantastic afterwards. I have never been brave enough to have accupuncture as I'm a bit needle phobic! What's it like?

Hey all. Feeling a bit pmt and grotty today. I think I might go for the accupucture thing next month as well mojo. I'd love to find out that this month has been a total mess with dates, but I managed to get pg anyway because that would excuse the expanding waste line and grey skin! Roll on AF, so I can get going again

Have you had accupucture before mojo? Cause I'm looking into it and would like to get an idea of cost. I'm in sw london. I found one women who has all the snazzy letters after her name, but it seems a bit pricey.

no, but a friend has & it cost £35. I'm waiting for her to call me back. Time is ticking on & I MUST make a baby !

I've got a reflexology session in the morning i'm hoping that may help. A friend at work who took 12mths ttc had a couple of sessions & got pg she had a DS last week . I find it really relaxing its helped with other ailments so its got to be worth a try.

Ooh hope it goes well. I'm have accupuncture next Sat. We will get pregnant !

Another BFN this morning But I'm hunting down accupucturists as we speak so I'll start on that next we. You're right mojomummy, We WILL get PG!

Oh well... AF this morning CD27 and Persona is flashing "m" at me - not this month then? JAG I love reflexology too but I haven't had a session for ages.

CD10 for me had to test yesterday & today will it ask for one everyday now until ov?

Well still no af and all af symptoms seem to have stopped today. Might do a sneeky test tomorrow if nothing happens. Sorry about af for you pinewood Hopefully next month.
