SBC I am so sorry :(

tillydream · 16/05/2011 19:46

Envy:(Envy:(Envy:(
I am a horrible person!! A very close friend of mine has just announced her pregnancy and I am sooooo jealous. It's her third and I know she had been trying for quite a while (18 months) so why can't I be happy for her! Hearing about it all, I just want to scream, 'I'd feel sick every day all day if it meant I could have a baby!!' We work so closley together I can't see how I'm going to bear it but she was so nice and caring during my mcs and ivf - pls pls help me pull myslef together ladies, or give me a slap!

I o'd day 20 and 21 this month, on day 26 now but can't change my status, dodgy copy technique I'm afraid!

Massive hugs for differnt reasons to fr00tbat, SES and SBC. SBC, might be coming to join you for a but if thats ok.

Love to all

Tilly

Loup23 · 16/05/2011 19:50

So sorry to read your post SBC hope you are getting lots of support in RL

Clockspotter · 16/05/2011 20:42

Hugs to SBC and tillySad.

MiniH · 17/05/2011 07:35

Keziah - thanks for all the info re blood tests.

The gp kept the form so I can't change date now so am just going to get them done day five and then try again for next month. Given how rubbish they are about appointments I'm considering going private for the blood tests, but seems really pricey so will hold off and see what I can do next month. It's just so frustrating to lose another month faffing around.

Am just having a bit of a low few days. Was fine till I saw the gp and she put "sub fertility" on my forms - makes it feel so real - and that's just a horrible word!

jazzy283 · 17/05/2011 09:57

hummmm so im on CD 10 and still no movement on my CBFM after reading everyone elses experiences im getting worried :(

farfallarocks · 17/05/2011 10:20

jazzy, don;t worry, I had no highs until day 12.
One high only and then a peak on day 13.
Apparently it takes a while to get to know you and you can go straight from low to peak with no high in between.

How long is your cycle? Mine is only 23/24 days and still took until day 12 for anything to shoe (so I am now panicking about short luteal phases)

My boobs are unbelievably sore though so I am hoping this is our month (appreciate I am probably just losing it)

jazzy283 · 17/05/2011 10:41

Farfallarocks - i know what you mean it drives you mad every month i convince myself ill get BFP but No :( my normal cycle is 28/29 days so i know im panickin way to early, i was told by my GP LP 10-14 is normal so you have nothing to worry about im sure :) :)

I have FX that this is your month how long have you been ttc ? im 33 and been ttc for 8 months this is our 9th and i never relised how stressful it would be

farfallarocks · 17/05/2011 10:51

Thank you! Only trying for 3 months, this is the first month with the monitor though and I now realise we were totally missing the best days previously so I am treating this as the first month :)

I initially thought you said you were trying for your 9th baby and almost fell off my chair! I really hope this is your month. I keep reminding myself that most people take 6-9 months and all my friends who look at their husbands and get pregnant are just abnormal :)

It does make you wonder why you bothered with the pill all these years given what a fecking pallaver it is to actuaslly get preggers!

jazzy283 · 17/05/2011 10:57

i know me and my hubby said that, but you can bet ya life that when we was not ready it woukld not of been a problem, i sometimes wonder can you wish for something too much ??? i agree my friends are also abnormal :) im sure you will get you BFP soon OMG 9 babies lol how funny i hope so i brought the CBFM to pin point as when i was using the ov sticks they were never consistant if they worked at all,

I honestly never thought it would be this hard but getting lots of exercise wink wink lol lol

boba82 · 17/05/2011 14:46

Hi all sorry been on holiday and seems to have been a million posts so no chance in catching up. Hope everyone is doing ok?

FX to all those swi or on 2ww

SBC so sorry hun, hugs to you x

tilly I had the same feelings myself last year but I think you'll find the Envy will pass quite quickly especially if as you say she's been a good friend to you. I think it's natural to feel that way, God sometimes I was so Envy of prg friends I put off seeing them etc until my feelings had subsided. As we're always saying on here there aren't a finite amount of pregnancies to be had so doesn't mean she's taken your chance IYSWIM? Hugs to you and hope you're feeling a bit better? x

chocciechip · 17/05/2011 15:03

sbc I'm so sorry you're feeling so down. I know those lows so well . I used to give myself one day every month just to cry when af arrived. It will happen for you, you must hold onto that.

tilly It hasn't been said on this thread for a while, but the best thing I ever read was on another thread about those awful feelings we all get when we hear someone is pg: your heart is yearning for YOUR baby, and your friend isn't having YOUR baby, she's having hers. And there isn't a quota of babies in the world, and that means that whenever someone gets pg, its doesn change or lessen the odds for you at all. It is strange that we have those feelings but I don't think its jealousy, I think its a sense of loss that your own time hasn't come yet. But it will happen, and YOUR baby is still out there, and one day it will be in your arms. That's not to say it isn't painful - I have lots of friends blocked on FB because I found their chat about their PGs and babies unbearable, so I know that feeling so well!

mini I was diagnosed with 'unexplained infertility' and we were queued up for IVF. In our last possible chance of trying we got a BFP naturally. I personally thought through ttc that there is a LOT GPs and fertility experts still don't know about fertility, and I have to say that through this PG I'm thinking the same about pregnancy as well! But just wanted to tell you that those are just words on paper, not a final 'sentence'. Hang in there.

farfalla Great to hear the CBFM has given you some help already.

jazzy I thought you were saying you were ttc your 9th as well and my jaw dropped Grin

Hope all of you lovely ladies are doing well. x

chocciechip · 17/05/2011 15:05

LOL - cross-post with boba. Not said for a while and then twice in the same moment. Smile

jazzy283 · 17/05/2011 15:09

LOL LOL CChip it does seem that lol just to confirm im TTC #1 lol lol coming up to 9th cycle :) :) :) :)

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 17/05/2011 15:19

Good day all, am feeling a little more positive today - yesterday was rock bottom - echo all the above feelings of grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr from the pregnancies all around. Beat this - yesterday whilst doubled up with the joy of AF I received a picture message from one of my staff - what was it? Only her scan picture showing me her beautiful healthy 13 week old foetus! Knife twisted!

Am looking at the positive being that in two weeks(ish) I can have my first IUI attempt, scared but positive.

Good luck all, it's gotta be our turns soon!

Clockspotter · 17/05/2011 16:04

Great posts boba and choccie, I know those feelings too as a close friend got preg with me back in January and is still carrying hers. We were going to be 'maternity buddies' and it still smarts that in October she will have her bundle. Not sure how to deal with that except I'm hoping for a bump of my own by then.

Can I re-add my stats btw?

MiniH - good idea to just do the bloods this month. Why not go back to a Gp, ask for another set next month (great to compare anyway) and find out where they do blood tests on the days you need next month. I never have them done at the Gp's as they only do them once a week without booking massively in advance, but the secretary told me where else to go. Saying that I have just had lots of blood tests - and they have lost my prolactin and thyroid ones, somewhere is my blood or tests, who knows. Sigh!
