Seriously? FFS! CBFM just gave me a peak!!!! Did I ovulate twice? Surely not!

You can technically ovulate twice hence twins however what usually happens is you have an lh surge when ur about to ovulate then for whatever reason you don't and then another surge as your body gears up again. Although didn't your temps show u had ovulated?? Is get busy on the bedroom anyway just on case!!

izzy exactly my point! Which to believe FF or cbfm? But with twins would you ovulate twice 5 days apart? We have been very busy in the bedroom. Now I'm worried we'll end up with twins!

sprinkles how annoying, this has happened to me last three months or so, get a + on i/c then days later (like you once it was 5) I get the peak on the cbfm - the one month it did that though I got AF about 8 days later so I was losing faith with cbfm - just keep SWI through it, I hope a BFP awaits... (oh and chuck the stats in FF and see what it makes of it..)

Well according to the CBFM I have had Highs for the last 7 days BUT, I am in Hong Kong at the moment and because of the time difference it I am having to wee in a bottle and test that later in the day when the monitor lets me. Do you think this could be buggering up the testing?

I have had high readings on my CBFM for 14 days. Could the sticks be faulty or is it possible this could happen?

I'm going to be joining you very soon. If that's ok? CBFM is winging it's way to me from Amazon for when AF gets here. I just had a quick question: I always get up during the night to go to the toilet. So if I do the test at say 7 when I awake will it be able to accurately detect the LP? Based on this I am wondering whether the CBFM is for me? Any thoughts are much appreciated. x

Hi auntie doris, I've had a few cycles like that. I did think that maybe I hadn't ovulated but in fact I fell pregnant with my daughter in a cycle with all highs and no peak! So must have ovulated!

Hi nearlymumofone, I wake around 3/4 times a night and have never had a prob with monitor. I just use the urine from when I actually get up if that makes sense.

Hope everyone is well. I'm now 20 dpo with neg tests and no AF so think I'm in for yet another killer cycle :(

Hi all, think I'm out again this month, tres annoying.

Doris - I had constant highs due to PCOS until I started cabergoline. Have you had any months with peaks at all? Do you have any back-up plans? (I use i/c opks when I have the relevant CM)

nearly I also wake lots in the night for a wee. I use the first wee that I do within the testing window. HTH

Hi all, welcome to newbies, catching up as just back from hols, hoped to have great BFP news as made it to 14dpo for first time ever and then AF hit me on the plane on the way home.... so disappointed. Heard today a friend of a friend pg with 2nd DC after first month trying cbfm, wondering why it just won't work for me.....

Still 2WWing hopefully here. 15 days dpo according to FF. 10 dpo according to CBFM!

I really hate those stupid sticks - which ones do you find effective? frankly sick of peeing on things that don't give me the results I want!

Omg. Have just broken my new rule about pregnancy tests. 16 days dpo (or 11 if i believe CBFM). And a BFP! Bit faint on an Internet cheapy. But darker than some I've seen on the FF gallery. Definitely there though!!!!

Slightlybabycrazed I have had some months with peak readings, in fact last month I had two days peaks. This month though I have just had loads and loads of highs. Really strange.

Thanks ladies. I just don't know if CBFM was wrong. But if it was right and FF & OPK were wrong it means that Internet pg test strip and boots cheap pg test have both shown clear +ves 11 days dpo and at least 1 day before AF due, and more like 3 days early. Unlikely surely? Not sure of due date but I guess end June or early July.

Anyway. Wishing you all wonderful luck and strength and humour through the ongoing process. Thank you for all the support, it has made this process a little more bearable and given me an opportunity to laugh about the whole thing for once. I'll still be lurking!

Btw I have an unopened box of sticks which will go out of date in April. They were about £14 on amazon. If anyone wants them and will paypal me the money I'll post them to you. I also have some OPK strips which I can chuck in.

Hi Ladies, just wanted to pop in with some good positive news about the cbfm.
after a mmc at 13 weeks last year and yet another year or trying (2 years with previous pg) im pregnant! im now 14 weeks and i owe it all to my cbfm.
i was given mine by a kind lady i met on a thread on mumsnet believe it or not and after 3 months of using it and getting myself into a healthy sex cycle we got pg!! we were on our final stage of fertility testing(male factor to go) when we found out.
JUst wanted to say it does work!! i tried everything prior to the cbfm< and spent a fortune!

i never got to the stage of having peaks, just highes, but the highs were enough to help us predict fertility, i actually got pregnant 2 days before my first high.

If its any help dh was taking the well man vitamins 3 months prior also, something obviously worked for us and i got pg exactly 4 weeks after my mmc last year! must be fate...

good luck with your journey, and keep using the monitor as i really think it helped me.

Not been around on here for ages as was getting a bit obsessed with the whole ttc thing anyway im now confused with CBFM got my Peaks CD 18 /19 had very painful boobies and ewcm yesterday d21 so used internet cheapie ovulation test and was positive yesterday and today so when did i ovulate me and dh dtd sunday morning but now he is away for week im sooo confused my LP is normally 10 - 11 days oh this stuff is driving me bonkers :( :( :(

Hello all and congrats to Sprinkles and MrsB. A positive note for me to join I think!!

Can I officially join you all now? Af will arrive today/tomorrow. I have my brand new shiny CBFM at the ready and instructions read (but just remembered must buy batteries tomorrow!).

Does anyone have any tips they'd like to share? I take it if AF arrives during the night I put day 1 as when I wake up? and if AF arrives later on in the day I use the following day as day 1? Is that right?

I plan to poas when I wake 6ish (when ds wakes) I'll have been to toilet during the night probably but sounds like that's ok?

Anyway.
