Thanks, Kitty, stories like that are what I like to hear at present. AF started yesterday so am feeling hopeful once again. Just hope its not my age (I'm 39).

fr00tbat, got everything crossed for you!!

Slightly, that does sound very suspicious to me. First thing for me was boobs and needing the loo in the night! Oh, and feeling hot and dizzy too. fx fx fx

olismum23 · 08/05/2011 15:51

I started using the monitor properly after my last period on CD 20 and all i have is lows, what could be going on? CM suggests i am ovulating today getting worried and confused, can anyone help?

boba82 · 08/05/2011 16:34

Congratulations fr00tbat! (very much out loud now!)

FX for everyone else this month - now the sun is shining it's gotta lift the mood and hormones into action!

farfallarocks · 09/05/2011 09:52

Hello, I am a newbie, can I join you all?
First month of using the monitor, day 10 and still a low which is very weird.
Used OPK last month and got a smiley on day 12 so was hoping I would start getting highs by now.
Would it be a bit psycho to use BOTH the monitor and OPK?
2nd cycle of TTC , came off the pill in February and AF came back quickly but very short cycles, 22 or 24 days so I wonder if they are still regulating.
I am also wondering if I am using the stick for long enough, how long do you hold it mid flow for? I do about 3 secs.

Loup23 · 09/05/2011 10:56

Yay for frootbat great news! Fx for SBC hope a BFP is just round the corner for you!

I am on the dreaded 2ww as the peak days came early this month (day 17/18) hoping that's a good sign...... only 2 or 3 dpo and already feeling the urge to test - ridiculous!

Welcome farfallarocks will let some of the experienced girls advise on cbfm but I do know that the first month on CBFM can produce strange results as it gets to know you, I would use OPKs aswell, can't hurt! I hold the stick for about 5-10 seconds I think, maybe pee in a pot and try that way?! 3 seconds might not be long enough.... Good luck for a BFP soon.

Good luck to all x

farfallarocks · 09/05/2011 12:32

Thanks! I will try that.
Good luck to everyone else

ElmMum · 09/05/2011 12:42

frootbat brilliant news!

Just a quick update from me. AF arrived on Sunday (CD 29) so I'm on CD 2 now, of my 5th cycle of TTC, 3rd with the CBFM.

Need to order some more sticks. I had optimistically only bought two pack.

Where's the cheapest place to get them? Amazon?

:)

Froot added you to graduates!! I guess that is why dr's say don't come for tests until a year etc, as it can take that long - and you are proof. Well done! Froot you can go to the graduates from here on conception, under ante-natal I think and tell them, so happy for you!

Hi Farfall - have added you to stats. Feel free to repost and add the correct numbers I have left out etc. Hope your stay here is short and sweet, as you can see a long bfp list here! People tend to update stats whenever they get to cd1, or have a moment or whenever! I think doing both sounds fine, people do. I don't use temping as my temp is beyond weird!!

Ok here goes, thanks for being so friendly and welcoming all.

Farfallarocks TTC1, Cycle #2, CBFM Cycle 1, age31, UCL 22-24, CD10

I am getting lows but I think I am ovulating anyway, sore boobs, just seen a bit of EWCM (is that right? the mucus?) so am going to get down to it tonight regardless of the monitor! Can't hurt I suppose!

Far - the mucus sounds good, and definitely worth trying!!

MiniH · 10/05/2011 08:07

Been awol for a while so just catching up

Congrats froot!! Will keep fx for you. there's been a few bfp's lately which always gives me hope.

Nothing much new here -on 2ww but finally had my gp appointment yesterday and she referred me for bloods so that's a start at least.

Far - if you've only recently come off the pill it could definitely be your cycle still regulating. My periods came straight back but were quite irregular for first ten months. Hopefully won't be anywhere near as long for you.

ElmMum · 10/05/2011 09:37

Morning all, any suggestions for best place to get CBFM sticks? I need a new batch and I know one of you will have a good tip! :)

Loup23 · 10/05/2011 09:49

ElmMum best place is Amazon I think, I'll be stocking up there is AF shows her face!

ElmMum · 10/05/2011 09:56

Thanks Loup, I'll have a look now :)

farfallarocks · 10/05/2011 09:57

Morning all and thanks for all the kind words and congrats to all those with BFPs!

Still showing low this morning on day 11 which is so annoying.
I shall carry on with the SWI regardless as I do think my cycles are still all over the shop.
So impatient, I know I just need to chill.

chocciechip · 10/05/2011 11:01

far I had a few cycles where I went straight from lows to peaks, skipping the highs in between. So if you do have other signs, I think you're doing the right thing to SWI just in case. It certainly won't do any harm!

elm I used amazon as well.

froot Congratulations. Smile It can be nervewracking so if you need us, we're over here

Wishing you all luck!

Keziahhopes · 10/05/2011 13:36

Elm - Amazon about £14, much cheaper than local chemists where costs are 220-24.99!!

jayebird · 10/05/2011 16:17

Hello everyone! I disappeared for a while as our computer had to go in for repairs then I just forgot to log back on. UNfortunately AF came on CD 36 last month. My Husband finally got a semen analysis done and it came back normal! This has taken so much stress off my shoulders! I am now TTC#2 Cycle 8 UCL 32 CD19 AND to my extreme delight I got a peak reading today! I have never yet got a peak reading on CBFM! Last cycle I got 4 highs and no peak, this cycle it went from low straight to peak! My husband will be a happy man tonight haha. Wish me luck. I hope you all are well!
