Welcome ladies to our new home yet again!! I hope this one will be as lucky as the last one was!

AF due for me next thursday, so will not POAS till after then.

Now that I am paying a bit more attention to my cycle I am interested to see that (if CBFM is to believed) how eratic it is. Since I've been using it I've ovulated a different day each month, had cycles of between 30 and 34 days and periods of between 3 and 5 days. I know you've been at this game for longer than I have loup, but maybe it's just a bit of normal variation....

Loup23 · 12/09/2011 14:44

Good luck until then sprinkles hope the next week or so flies by for us AF free. I am bordering on thinking this month i'm out as temps still relatively low and no ovulation bleeding but then in moment of complete madness trying to be positive, I think maybe this month is different and it could be a BFP (I did get a BFP in Feb but mc at 7 weeks but that month I did get high temps and ov bleeding so hard to make comparison) time will tell...!

sotheran · 13/09/2011 20:18

I've been using the monitor for 4 cycles now. I've had peak days for cycles 2 and 3 and all of the cycles have gone straight up to high after 1 or 2 days and stayed that way either until i got two peaks (cycle 2 and 3 or just down to low cycle 1 and 3). For example this month I started testing on day 9 and it went high on day 10 and has just gone low today on day 28.

Is the monitor broken or is it just me?

sprinkles77 · 13/09/2011 21:35

I'm sure someone with more experience will be along in a while. Have you called the help line?

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 14/09/2011 16:14

sotheran - sounds like you are a victim of CBs money making scheme - if you don't get your peak before the 8th stick it will take you on to using 20. Therefore as you are 2 days away from the 20 sticks it will drop to low. Once you get peak day 1, I stop POAS as it will automatically give you a 2nd peak day even if you have actually passed it and just missed the beginning with the first - if this makes sense.

Am 2WW now - missed peaks on the machine, but my back up (CB) OPK sticks picked up the surge. THink I have a faulty batch of CBFM sticks as they just seem to wash out and go all blue, with a hint of the lines hidden within - needless to say CBFM couldn't cope and so I am just using it as a calendar until AF undoubtedly arrives in 2 weeks! On a grim note CM seems to have not gone yet which it normally has straight after so gonna give SWI one last ditch effort and see how we go! Couldn't go for IUI on Monday as they only do afternoon and DH had to go to work at lunchtime - typical!

MiniH · 15/09/2011 08:58

Morning - tmi alert!!

I am in two minds whether to post this but need to have some rational thoughts. Am really not a symptom spotter (after 16 months of absolutely nothing have learnt that most 'symptoms' are really imagined). But yesterday I had what can only be described as pinky brown very light spotting - 10 possibly 11 dpo. I have had tiny bit of spotting once before (about a year ago) around that time and came to nothing, so logical side of me is saying to forget about it, but teeny tiny bit of optimist in me can't let go of a little hope. I know there's nothing to be done until can test and refuse to do that until at least day af is due, but just wanted someone to give me a shake and tell me to stop clinging on to nonsense like that. I know only 20% or so of women get implant bleed so is daft and probably just early af.

Loup23 · 15/09/2011 09:57

miniH i'm going to stay positive for you and keep everything crossed that it's IB. Someone else will need toc ome along and shake you! When is AF due?

Loup23 · 15/09/2011 09:58

sprinkles how are you getting on? Any symptoms? Nothing to report here and temps v close to coverline which is the first time that has ever happened Sad

farfallarocks · 15/09/2011 10:10

Mini H it might be! Lots of girls on the brooking thread seem to get implantation bleeding.
However, I also convince myself every month as my AF always starts this way!
If this is unusual for you then who knows. Either way you should be able to get a BFP about 2/3 days after implantation I believe.
Good luck.
AF about to start, argh

Loup23 · 15/09/2011 12:45

Hi far how are you? Is AF here or still waiting?

FF moved me from 7 dpo to 5dpo Angry think due to lack of increased temps, ff confused, i'm confused - on to the next cycle!

farfallarocks · 15/09/2011 12:56

AF will arrive fully tomorrow I think, have all the cramping and brown spotting that I usually get the day before (and I refuse to start the whole, ooooh is it implantation thoguht process that gets me every month!)

How annoying about FF!

Loup23 · 15/09/2011 15:58

damn that spotting far i get that every month too, so frustrating, well iof AF does come tomorrow hoping this next cycle s a lucky one for you - if I'm out this month I think my next O day my arrive during holiday in the caribbean - surely that's got to help?.... unless i drink my body weight in rum for the hols..... Blush

Loup23 · 15/09/2011 15:59

Blush sorry for typos!

sprinkles77 · 15/09/2011 16:29

loup absolutely nothing here. 7 dpo if CBFM is correct. Except.... usually i get quite a lot of pain after I ovulate, for several days, somtimes for up to 10 days. Not this month. Now how to interpret that.........? OTOH, (TMI on it's way) my CM is the way it normally is this time of the month. loup I got preg last time on honeymoon. Was drinking at least my body weight in cocktails and wine, and smoking like a trouper. DS is fine. I actually think the alcohol helps (for me of course, DH must not do anything to jeopardise his ..ahem... performance)!

far I do the "ooh implantation" when I get spotting. I feel justified co I only got spotting for the first time last month. It is cruel though.

MiniH · 15/09/2011 19:54

Thanks loup and far - af not due till Monday so let's wait and see. Got a busy weekend and work is busy so will help me put it out my mind till then. At least have my hycosy to look forward to next week if af arrives, so not all bad.

Loup - ov during holiday definitely prime timing!

Loup23 · 16/09/2011 10:03

Back to 8dpo with you sprinkles and a temp rise to 37.15 today, trying not to get excited, AF due Monday so Fx until then. Good luck sbc sprinkles and minih, if this isn't my month good to hear about your cocktail spree sprinkles let's hope that helps next month!

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 16/09/2011 12:28

Mini - let's hope it is something positive, I know the crushing blow all too well of getting "new " symptoms and then having a BFN, so probably best to do somethings to keep your mind off it all for the next few days.

Good luck to other 2WWers!

Since being on the meds to counterract my PCOS, I seem to be developing more symptoms!! Am off to see GP next week, so he can stare at me blankly and increase my metformin. I am spending soooo much on prescriptions and I don't think any of it makes the blindest bit of difference - still barren!

Loup - sun, sea, and SWI - makes for a very positive outcome WinkGrin

Loup23 · 16/09/2011 16:43

well if i'm out this month scb then i'll be hoping for sun sea and SWI Grin how many dpos are you? I too have developed various symptoms over 2ww and got myself excited only to be disappointed.... this month I had bleeding yesterday evening bright pink/red (sorry tmi) nothing since and temps up today 8 dpo. Will try and chill out this weekend and not start calculating due date 29 May Blush

Hope AF stays away for you sprinkles sbc and miniH and all other 2wws x

sprinkles77 · 16/09/2011 19:30

loup you are hilarious! Working out due date: dangerous stuff, but tempting Grin. I hadn't thought of doing that!

Loup23 · 16/09/2011 22:01

Hilarious or slightly mental sprinkles Grin

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 17/09/2011 18:46

Hi, am currently 6 DPO, and not got any symptoms just yet, but have the most painful/stiff back I have had in ages - is that a symptom, or am I just creating a new one?, Oh, now I'm thinking about it, I have a spot of indigestion (never get it normally) - that's got to be a sign Grin

I may go quiet over the next week, to stop my self obsessing and also checking those due dates - summer off to watch the olympics sounds terrible!

SBC

Loup23 · 17/09/2011 22:15

Ooo excellent point re Olympics sbc fx that those are symptoms. 9dpo here so not long to go, checking for af every hour. Waves to all x

sprinkles77 · 18/09/2011 15:05

loup when is AF due? Mine due thursday I think, though will wait for flashing M. Usual thing though, no testing till Saturday as don't want to miss riding on Friday test too early and get a false negative. Mad eh?

boba82 · 18/09/2011 16:37

Oooh good luck to all you ladies on 2ww! Sounds promising.

Loup no need to feel Blush - I did that every cycle once or twice.

MiniH · 19/09/2011 09:03

Well, af inevitably got me this month - damn these weird changes that despite your best efforts make you believe it just may be your turn! Am surprisingly ok about it though, and spent whole weekend with good friends one year old and still managed to not feel sad. I think it really does get easier with every af as you just stop believing it could ever happen, which somehow does protect you.

Have my hycosy on Wednesday - wish me luck!
