Yeah, I use the mooncup, not for periods though (vomit emoticom), just when TTC.

Oh, SBC, was it your mare that had a foal? Lovely. Do you ride? I rode till about 6 months last time. Going to stop immediately I think though if I get a BFP, has taken too long this time, and I have a better sense of what could be lost now I have a DC.

Hello everyone, back on here with avengeance after a short break from CBFM.

Started getting highs from day 7 (!) this month. Currently on day 9 and just wondering if I can keep up all the SWI until day 12/13 when I normally get a peak.

Every other day will still cover you farfallarocks, it gets to be a pain in the arse doesn't it?! FX though. x

I know how you feel far my highs start from day 9-12 but last until day 18-22 before I peak, fed up with DTD religiously through all that time! I'm cd 15 had high for three days and hoping I get a peak this month..... Good luck x

BFN, no surprises. Haven't phoned the clinic to tell them yet, keep crying too much! Having a very down day - AF on her way tonight, so I have a gut wrenching puking night ahead of me to round off a jolly lovely day!

Sorry to hear that SBC had everything crossed this was your month. Don't blame you for being glum.... for Theo.

That's me just outta the drs. My blood work looks suspicious of pcos so he has referred me for a pelvic ultrasound to see what's happening. At least that's something.

izzy do you have irregular periods too? I can recommend a good book if you do get a PCOS diagnosis. It helped me feel in control while I was waiting on further test/Clomid.

Hi boba yes i have very irregular periods, in fact ive only had 2 since november which is clearly not normal. I'm currently on something like cd57!!

Hi ladies, sorry to butt in on your thread. Cycle 2 on my cbfm and on day 18 with no highs so far?? Still on 2bars.... Have had lots of cm up till now and highs on my ov sticks but not on the cbfm???? What's going on..... I'm confusedmy normal cycle is 29~30 and have now been. Ttc for ww months and was hoping the monitor would help me have a better understanding of my cycle...... Thanks in advance. X

Hi mrsb, two bars is high on the monitor. Do you mean a peak? It can take a few months for the monitor to get to know ur cycle so I wouldn't worry just yet. Good luck and I hope ur swi at the highs!

Thanks izzy, wasn't sure if that was the case or not.... Yep we are swi at the highs, my poor dh thinks his willys going to drop off!!! We've had over a week of highs! Lol x

Sorry for your bfn SBC... glad your colt is there for you right now. Will they switch to a medicated IUI next or straight to IVF? It took me quite a few weeks to really cope with our ICSI failing, so be gentle on you right now.

izzy sounds like me. My bloods from GP were normal but PCOS confirmed at FC ultrasound. I also had to get a HSG before they would give me Clomid. It showed up a small blockage also on my right tube. I got given Clomid but told to expect to need IVF and put on waiting list. Finally got my BFP on 2nd cycle of Clomid! I think my longest cycle was 103 days or something so chin up. FX you'll get scan soon and they can get you on Clomid. It's so frustrating not having a period every month on top of TTC, I constantly felt premenstrual and shitty. Never mind spending a small fortune on CBFM sticks. I started resetting mine at 30 days so it didn't give up on me (which it does at 90 days btw!) Are you doing this? x

I don't see the point on resetting it cos surely I'll just need loads of sticks then???

izzy - I often used mine without sticks (well did use it for 3 years!!)... just reset it and pressed when af started etc.... though Boba is the expert on long cycles... I remember when you went over 100 even now!

I was obsessed with missing a peak as I had no idea when I was ovulating that's why I did it, did use a LOT of sticks though!

Did u find that you ovulated even without having AF?

Hi ladies! Sorry to throw a question at you and run! This is the fourth cycle on CBFM. The last two it showed a definate peak on day 14/15 then lows for a day after but completely missed my high days. This month it asked for sticks from day 9 I think, gave me highs from day 10 and 13 days later I am still getting highs? Surely if I had not ovulated it would just go back down eventually although today it must have picked something up as there was a faint second line? Should I just give up this month? DP is completely shagged out poor thing. Any guesses?

Raspberry - for me once I got the first high I knew a peak would be after a 2nd high (even if n ot picked up on screen) as over 34 cycles with the monitor I knew 90% of the time this is what happened... so we hit the first peak and up to 5 days after that and then rested :-)

Raspberry - if it's missed your peak it will jusy keep asking till you get to 20 sticks. If the last months showed peaks then is possible this was a one off anovulatory cycle or peak was just too short to detect - mines done than before bit I had picked it up separately on opk.

izzy no and I don't think that is actually possible? I had no way of tracking my cycle and CBFM was my best chance of getting an idea if I ovulated. Have you got a date for your scan yet?

Yes the hospital called yesterday so appt is on the 18th Aug, quite pleased cos its not even been a week since referral! Don't think ill reset monitor til I get AF cos its prob fruitless peeing in sticks with no AF! X
