Far - congratulations!!! Will keep fx that the next eight months are very boring and uneventful.

loup - 66 is good. You need at least 30 but most want to see 50, so you've passed with flying colours.

I'm going to have to bid farewell for the next few weeks to you lovely ladies as I'm off on hols! Really looking forward to switching off from everything. I hope to see lots of lovely bfp's when I get back Grin

Just checking in. AF got me over a week ago so been feeling rather low. Off on holiday this week so looking forward to relaxing and hoping to come back with a better PMA. Sorry I haven't read through the thread, just waving really. Not using monitor this month as can't be bothered taking it on holiday.

Congrats to those who've got their BFPs.

Evening ladies!
Congratulations far that's wonderful news.
Well, I've dragged myself out of wallowing, not too successfully I have to say. Feeling pretty shit if I'm honest but am just gearing up to get swi but DP has lost all interest :( So frustrated, feel like it's never, ever going to happen at the moment. :(

boba82 · 23/06/2011 11:02

KC Sorry about AF, hope you have a lovely holiday. It'll do you the world of good to get away & relax. x

Loup23 · 24/06/2011 10:54

KC sorry about AF have a good holiday..

raspberry sorry you're feeling down, I hope you manage to get some SWI in and that the next two weeks fly by. I know how you feel, as the months go by you start to wonder if it will ever happen.....

I'm only CD3 so a good 2-3 weeks before we can give it another proper go, just off to get bloods done though so hopefully they'll be ok and hopefully this might be all of our months......

AuntieDoris · 25/06/2011 15:54

I have a question. Started using CBFM this month and I am wondering if people have a few days of getting a high reading before getting their peak reading?

I am on CD13 today and I usually ovulate around day 14 but I am still getting low on the monitor. I am now worrying I haven't set it up right!

PiggyMad · 25/06/2011 20:58

Hi ladies,
I was just wondering if I could ask a CBFM-related question - well it's not a question really, just a rant!

I've been using a Persona monitor to help ttc and am on the third month of using it. The first month I got the egg symbol on days 12 and 13, then the second month I obviously ov'd late as got reds most of the way through but no egg symbol and cycle was 31 days rather than the usual 26 and now I'm on third cycle day 14 and still reds and no egg symbol. I'm starting to think the monitor isn't for me as it is stressing me out that I might not be ovulating. Not sure if it's the same with cbfm, but I only pee on 8 days and was wondering if it would read the sticks if I bought extra and used them when it didn't ask to check if ov is occurring?

On month 4 of ttc and I know it isn't long but am starting to get a bit disheartened - assumed - stupid me - that it would happen in a month or two as we're mid-twenties and fit and healthy etc.

Sorry to gatecrash the thread with a moan :( Blush

Karbea · 25/06/2011 21:27

Hello, sorry I've not been on in ages! I'm now on cd17 waiting to ov, not sure I'm going to this cycle, I've had 7 highs in a row from my monitor... Should be having my 2nd blood tests on cd21 but not sure if I should as they are supposed to be done 7days after ov, what do you think?

Keziahhopes · 25/06/2011 22:25

Karbea - I found dr's generally wanted more than one set of bloods anyway so if it was me I would go on cd 21 this month for blood tests, then if your cycle is longer than the 28 days ask your gp for another form for next month - saying your cycle was longer than 28 days so you need to have it done later. It is called day 21 test based on a 28 day cycle, so really it should be length of cycle - 7 days, if for you that is day 21 then go that day. My cycle varies from 26-31 days so day 21 is usually ok.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 26/06/2011 23:16

Hi,
Just checking in...had a high for last 3days and have managed to dtd every day so far! Hoping to see my peak soon, tho I'm nightshift on tues so no doubt eggy will show up then!!

Hope everyone is well

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 27/06/2011 13:20

Hi all, been away for a while - got married and been on honeymoon!

In a bizarre twist of good fate (unusual for me!) I peaked on day 12/13 slap bang in middle of honeymoon, so fx.........

Am now CD17 so am offiicially on 2WW. Am desperately hoping we cracked it this month as I'm 36 next month!

Have had a little read to catch up - Congrats to farfallarocks tremendous news - do keep us updated on your progress from time to time.

Welcome to some newcomers, I see some unanswered questions, I will have a go at answering some:
piggymad - sorry no idea about how the persona works
Auntiedoris - the first month doesn't always give the most accurate readings as it is getting to know you, but it may well still jump from low to peak missing out the high days this month. It is worth sticking with as it reduces the obsessing stress!
Mrsb33 - if you haven't worked this one out yet - you need to turn the monitor on within the same 6 hour window each day. When you set it it gives you 3 hours either side of that time - don't waste any sticks that it hasn't asked for!

Little tip from me - once I get a peak I don't poas any more as it will automatically give you a 2nd peak, a couple of highs and then lows - saving me a fair few sticks already!

Hope everyone is keeping well

SBC x

boba82 · 27/06/2011 16:50

SBC Congratulations! Did you have a nice honeymoon? Where did you go? FX you'l be celebrating a honeymoon baby too. x

Hello, I've now had 9highs and no egg...
Looks like the docs have lost my lh and fsh results urghhh!!!

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 27/06/2011 19:43

Thanks Boba, we had a lovely honeymoon - nothing too fancy, just a week in the peak district, beautiful. Loads of walks and country pubs - broke the no drinking whilst TTC rule for a week!

Keziahhopes · 27/06/2011 20:04

Karbea - if they have lost them just ask for another set of tests! I had one test lost 3 times, sigh.

congrats SBC on your marriage and honeymoon, and fab timing - hope it is the news we all long for!!

Karbea · 27/06/2011 20:35

kezia I know, but I just keep thinking every month this goes on... I'm just getting older and older and my dream of a family is less and less likely.

m4z · 28/06/2011 08:57

Hi everyone, needing some advice please. Been ttc for over 8months. Finally decided to get a cb monitor. Used it for the first month and had 12dats high but NO peak! Has this happened to anyone? My af is late, did a preg test- neg :-(
Any advice greatly appreciated. x
