It is the grimmest bit by far.
DH is being amazing, very supportive and we are managing to keep a sense of humour about all the timed sex but still, I can see how it begins to wear you done after a bit!

I am also finding the fact I seem to have had 2 LH surges this month confusing, just hoping we covered the bases!

AF just sucks donesn't it? I hope she stays away for all of us

hi fellow 2wws jazzy minih weimy and far how far along is everyone? I'm 1dpo and already wishing the next two weeks away! We DTD both peak days and the high today but none of the high days before the peak...I'm hoping both peak days covers the "window"..... Off to get my progesterone measured Friday (does anyone know if 3dpo is ok to get that done? or should I wait until 6dpo?)

I am (depending on which blinking LH surge to believe, digital smiley or CBFM) either 1dpo or 3dpo!

I normally have between a 22-25 day cycle. However if CBFM is right then I ovulated late for me at cd15 as opposed to the usual CD13ish so I will have to wait at least 2 weeks to test, argh!

Have ordered internet cheapies though as I donlt want to give First Response any more of my hard earnt cash.

Loup - now idea about progesterone testing, sorry!
Jazzy - I was chronically checking for spotting last month, its really hard

loup im 11 dpo i might crack tonight and test i jus cant wait another 2 dayssss :( :( i have ordered some early cheapies from internet after your advice far and i think they are going to be home when i get in so dont know if i can have them in the house and hold off lol lol

far im normally 28 /29 cycle got my peak late so im now on CD33

good luck jazzy ic didnt show a BFP fir me until a couple of days after AF due at about 14 or 15 dpo so just a warning, know everyone's different. Really hope it's a BFP for you though keep us posted. far you're with me then (maybe) at 1 dpo. Good luck for holding off testing!

farfall I don't really know much about it all but would you not be better sticking to either the tests or the CBFM? Must be expensive and adding to confusion? Don't want that to come across the wrong way btw

Hi lychees i remember you from the last thread! How are you getting on....is there a number two on the way? I hope so. My third pregnancy of 2010 turned out to be a good one and im expecting a little man to join me early september; no sign of abnormalities this time thank goodness so just waddling along at the mo. A couple of the others are also up-duffed - boba is due around a similar time to me i think! i still hang around here hoping for good news from everyone xxx

Loup - dont' know what progesterone testing is, is it a blood test through your gp? Am just curious, wondering what the test looks for and what its purpose is. Have had the 3 day and 21 day tests that are FSH and LH.

I'm 8 or 9 dpo depending on when exactly I ovulated after peak. No symptoms of anything so not overly hopeful. My day 3 tests came back with high oestrogen (they said on the phone the tests were normal but when I asked for the levels at my day 21 appointment they definitely seem high). Am just waiting on day 21 levels coming back and dh's sperm analysis, and then might know a little more. The 2ww together with waiting for tests is really driving me nuts this month!

10 dpo!! Sore boobs, tired, grumpy and sore back. AF is definitely on its way :( oh well. I asked dp if we could really go of it next month but said he just doesn't want to worry about it until after the wedding which is fair enough but I really wanted to be updiffed before then. There must be something wrong somewhere, we sex at the right times and always have done and it's been nearly a year now . So fed up of it all

still have really sore boobs but no ohter sign of AF nearly at the 12 mth mark reallly dont want to get there

Sorry to hear about BFN jazzy but maybe too early to test? When I got my BFP in Feb it didn't show up until 13 or 14dpo. Hope AF stays away

keziah i've looked at the pathology form the dr filled out, he has ticked for me to have progesterone done at 4/5dpo (around the 21 day mark for most people) and then LH and FSH etc at days 5/6. THe progesterone is supposed to indicate whether ovulation has occurred. I'm going to get it done at 6dpo rather than 3dpo. Still hoping this 2ww ends in a BFO but if it doesn't at least I'll know whether my hormones are ok.....
