10000fireflies so sorry it has been a tough time for you. Sad I am almost too afraid to ask what an 'exshiting time' is! Be honest now, were you one of the 'little girlies' who were 'running around trying to get' Peter Andre's autograph?! Really sorry that your treatment failed and hope you will end up with an amazing surprise that somehow you will get pregnant naturally, or find the strength and money for a new cycle! Have you decided what to do? I can't remember your history; feel free to share it with me. I have had loads of treatment but only actually one IVF cycle which got as far as embies going in! But I know it was very hard when it failed so please do be nice to yourself. BUT hugs to you.

Nicole REALLY hope it will all work out for you. Sorry you got so many comments back from me about why I was fed up! I am now fully back on board with t he whole TTC thing!

hippy good luck with the Clomed, any news to report? Has it turned your wee green or your poo pink, has it made your head grow smaller or your breasts grow bigger??? Only joking, it's not suggested ANYWHERE (that I know) that that will happen! Although with your boobs I expect we will get a boob-gate update fairly soon! Wink Hugs.

Jolls, honey, where are you and how are you? Hugs.

Shandy Hi, how are you doing? Hugs
Well done Gum, TTT, Angelgeorgie and Diege for all your various milestones. Grin Grin Grin Grin. Have I missed anyone off the bench? Any others expectantly expecting who I have missed? Wink

lol are you still looking in, we would love to hear how you are and I really do hope you are well.

Tina what has happened with the clinic, when is/was the appointment?
Hugs to BB, Mitzimaybe, and all.
So, I?m now fully back on board with t he whole TTC thing! after a few weeks in the wilderness wondering what the F*CK (excuse my language) I was thinking wanting to go for it all again. Having a few probs with DDs behaviour again and wondering if I can face a naughty child and a pooping baby (guess my godson's 5.15 a.m. pooey nappy did have an effect on me!).

Does anyone else want to do a roll call? I've updated my roll call detail and made my name bold, anyone want to add yourselves if wish to, update/change details for us to help us all keep up? I think it is good when it goes in alphabetical order as easier to find people!

Italiangreyhound 46, DD aged 6 (from IUI), MC 2006, IUI/failed IVF, awaiting IVF donor eggs September 2011

Hugs to all

Italiangreyhound · 04/06/2011 12:53

10000fireflies BIG hugs not BUT hugs, no idea what a but hug is, but it does not sound nice Wink!

lolfactor · 04/06/2011 17:59

Hi fireflies I'm just going to put those prosecco bottles out for recycling. They'll fit into the two wheelie bins if I push hard. Bloody IVF cycles. Thank god you had the sense to hit Southampton's hot spots. Peter Andre isn't a great consolation prize but we've only got John Craven, so think yourself lucky.

TTT I am happy to report that the ex is miserable. I know I'm sounding mean and small-minded, but it's only because I'm still in sync with him. Oooo - I'm becoming a real bitch. About time, possibly...and 35 weeks! I am absolutely on tenterhooks - so bloody exciting. It's like having my own but without the varicose veins.

Hi - I'm still here, and really pleased to hear from Curly who needs a massive hug. BB Hippy Italian Lou and all (welcome mb) hiya and thanks for your support.

I'm overdue - CD29 - but with a BFN on CD27. I suspect I might be skipping a period. Not had that before, but then I did hit 45 in March (that dreaded age; try not to google it, it will only depress you) and since then my regular 28-day cycle has gone 26/26 and now nothing. And I know I ovulated because for once I took my temperature and saw the line rocket on CD10. I last dtd on CD5 pm. If I did ovulate that early, then the test would have been BFP if it was all healthy. So...who knows. I've got absolutely no symptoms of anything. Not even pre-ov flat tummy. Angry Oh dear, I'm waffling. Sorry. Just a bit tense, I think.

hippychick66 · 04/06/2011 18:17

Firefly - we love u too sweetie and we are all so sorry that the ivf cycle didn't work out for you. Peteer andre likess oldder women and he makes cute kids hmm....

Tank - 35 weeks Omg! !!

Am on the internet tablet again - can u tell?

Italiangreyhound · 04/06/2011 18:45

Lol I hope you ex comes to his senses and grabs you for a massive snog and says he can't live without you! But I guess he needs to work it out first!

Hippy get off the tablets and let us know how those boobs are! Wink

hippychick66 · 04/06/2011 22:25

back on the laptop again - sooo much easier to type on.

firefly sorry I can't remember, do you have any embryos frozen for another try?

italian nothing to report on BiscuitBiscuit watch at the moment.

I got an almost positive on an OPK today (day 13) was really pleased cos it means the eggs have had plenty of time to get nice and ready (unlike the times when I ovulated really early). I was getting a bit concerned cos there was no second line at all - not even a hint of one and I had visions of tons of eggs stuck in my overies and refusing to move on. But the almost positive OPK means they will be moving on soon. Expect to get a really dark second line tomorrow. Anyway, as jolls likes me to say, "Troops in place!" But plan to add some more for back-up over the next few days - can't waste the Clomid!

gum I have arranged for a supersonic helecopter (it's fab and it travels faster than the speed of sound and can get us all to OZ and back within the hour). So just let us know when the scan is please Grin

Hope everyone is ok. Sorry to hear that you and your ex are both sad lol. He deserves to be, of course, cos he's an idiot but you don't. Any chance of running off with John Craven??? No! Just a thought.

I sat in my friend's garden and got sunburnt yesterday - not as bad as I have been before but I still look a bit daft - I will NEVER learn!

Anyway, night night all. Speak to you soon. XXX

lolfactor · 05/06/2011 13:25

Lou good thoughts. Every baby is different, so you can't go by what's happened before. Thank goodness! It's all going to be new, which is a really encouraging thought. ((()))

Hippy do early ovulating eggs mean dodgy eggs? Unripened eggs? Is it better to ovulated day 14?

lolfactor · 05/06/2011 13:26

Oh forgive my Engleesh. Me no speak so well today. Must be the Sunday sausage sandwich.

nicole333 · 05/06/2011 16:08

afternoon all. Hope you are enjoying your sunday. I'm knackered (was in work this a.m.) so only a quick one from me to say I'm now on CD37 and another BFN with a Clearview easy hcg. Are they known to be dodgy?

This really doesn't feel right Confused

Apologies and big waves allround.

shandybass · 05/06/2011 18:37

Hi all. Things are getting back to normal for me which is a bit depressing in itself after all the excitement of being pg.

Glad to hear all your news.

angel my mum used to say it's Mum's job to worry and if there wasn't anything she would find something.

lol nice to see youre still here.

curly and Bb nice to see your back. Where are you jolls. Come back say hi.

Fingers crossed for progress hippy and fireflies.

Hi to mb and Nicole.

lolfactor · 05/06/2011 19:56

Nicole have you checked out the pee on a stick website? It's got all you need to know (and stuff you didn't think you wanted to know) about tests and false negatives etc.

I'm on CD30 and am checking it out now.

lolfactor · 05/06/2011 20:08

OK - so thinking I might have had delayed ovulation due to stress. And let's face it, I have had cause to be stressed. I know my temp spiked, so assumed I had ovulated that day. But, thinking back, I had EWCM (sorry for TMI) for 6 days, so maybe the egg was holding its breath before jumping.

Sorry to drone on - it's just that being pregnant now would be amazing/disturbing in the circumstances. Being menopausal, however, would be devastating. I'd have to grieve the relationship AND my fertility at the same time. Noooooo thank you.

10000fireflies · 06/06/2011 00:57

Evening/morning all! Great night Friday!! Grin Grin Thanks gals!! Lol - you are a star for clearing up. Two wheelie bins of empties? Blush Hopefully that wasn't just me??!! You know Hippy, you got me thinking re Peter Andre/cute kids. He's doing a new series called 'Here to Help', so maybe I should give him a call?? Would save on the ICSI fee...

Will check in again tomorrow hopefully and catch up properly. Positive vibes, fairy dust and fireflies to all. Have a good Monday! xx

BeattieBow · 06/06/2011 09:51

Hi all. lol I seem to be having a similar experience - so far highs on the CBFM since day 8 (I'm day 15 now). EWCM 2/3 days ago, and still no peak on the monitor or temp rise. am having horrid side effects from the clomid - worst of the 3 months so far. Awful pains and bloating (which last month were 2 days over ovulation) for the last 3 days and still counting. and nausea too. I don't think I'll do any more clomid - my dr talked about upping the dose to 100mg, but not sure I can cope!

lol glad ex is miserable!

1000ff (((hugs))) . Do you know what your next move is?

I've just overheard a colleague being congratulated on being pg with twins! I saw her last week and wondered. Am glad for her (she seems quite old too) - I'm thinking there has been a struggle to get pg there. Of course, a tiny part of me feels envious too.

hippychick66 · 06/06/2011 12:55

nicole sorry to hear your body is playing tricks on you. Would love it to be good news for you. Also lol - I have been reading in my taking charge of your fertility book and it does say that you can have delayed ovulation due to stress. Your body will keep trying to ovulate - hence you could have lots of egg whites but no actual LH surge. You could then eventually ovulate late - causing a long cycle. Hmm...

BB I know what you mean - it is possible to be pleased for others and still be a little bit Envy that it's not you making that announcement. Mind you, if you hd twins, where would you fit everyone in???? Grin

lou you are passed the early worries and GBOS will be out and about long before you get to 41 weeks so it mkaes sence that your mind is turning to the what ifs of late miscarriage - but that way madness lies , my love. Keep going, you're doing so well.

Bb I think I've been quite lucky with the clomid re: side effects. I seem to be ok. I am having ovulation pains today (day 15) which is good as there are lots of troops in there (sorry TMI). I keep imagining that there are a whole lod of eggs popping out but because I'm not being scanned it is mearly a guess.

lol I have ovuloated as early as day 8 before now but have been reading about clomid and it seems to say that one of the things itdoes is make you ovuloate closer to day 14 - it suggests that the eggs need a good 14 days to ripen. Having said that I do know people who got pregnant and stayed pregnant with an early ovulation - so who knows. The weird thing for me is that the last couple of months I've ov'd on approx day 14 and had a 14 luteal phase - all perfect if I wasn't so friggin' old and thinkin gof giving up Confused

lol imagine if you got pregnant now and all went ok - what would the ex say then, "Oh sorry dear, it seems you're not too old after all. Fancy going back out with me?" Cheeky git Shock.

waves to jolls diege italian curly shandy - sorry if I haven't mentioned you.

lolfactor · 06/06/2011 23:56

Thanks Hippy that makes TOTAL sense. I think it was a pretty long 'get me pregnant, this is my last chance you MORON' ovulation week. And it was very stressful. Had tiny dark brown spotting this am but nothing since. Hoping for tomorrow. I just don't feel pregnant AT ALL - but you're right. Exdp would be only too happy to carry the shopping if I was. Don't want to retest. Can't bear another negative. Stupid, isn't it?

Interesting about the Clomid. I should have tried it. Ditto the DHEA (but, truth be told, I was terrified I might grow that 'tach and seriously consider changing my name to Brian).

Bloody dog, by the way. I was painting the front door and he ran away, lost his tag, and got carted off by the dog warden. He spent the weekend in the dog pound. I've had to fork out £70 and they've said if it happens again I could be sued. So embarrassing. I had to get my ex-husband (I know, it's like talking to Ulrika Johnsson) to pick him up as I felt like such a terrible owner. Exdh used to be on telly, so the dog warden got all flirty and handed Jack over without a murmur. Funny that. Needless to say, I'm not speaking to him. The dog, not the ex-husband. I clearly owe HIM. Jack can have a long hard think about things in his basket!

panashe · 07/06/2011 09:02

Hello all, get home hub delivered on Thursday, can't wait. Well there is nothing like moving house to distract you on 2ww but maybe a bit drastic. Am seriously knackered and have hurt my back & still have loads to unpack, sort , find places for things !!

Love to all, be back later in the week xx

hippychick66 · 07/06/2011 10:14

welcome to your new home panashe. Wine Our buyers want to complete at the end of June but we don't want to move until after the schols break up on July 22 - will be interesting to see who wins Hmm...

lol - come on you have to tell us now - who is the ex DH who used to be on telly????? Please please please [begging for news face]

BeattieBow · 07/06/2011 10:22

hippy we are going to be homeless from end June too! Our new tenant wants to move in then, but we want to stay put until end of school term. We will be lodging at my sister's for a couple of weeks while she's on holiday, but that still leaves 2 weeks in July.

But we do now have 3 school places in London! Just one to go which we hope will come up in the summer holidays.

yes lol spill the beans!

Have put a call into my clinic - in loads of pain, have blown up like a balloon and still not ov'ed. Am wondering about cyst or needing a HCG shot to trigger ovulation. it's very painful.

hippychick66 · 07/06/2011 10:39

Bb what a co-incidence -we seem to be moving at the exact same time.

You are not having much luck with the clomid are you -hope the clinic can help. X

lolfactor · 07/06/2011 19:36

Gosh - we're going to have hobos on the thread. Come July you'll all be NFA! We'll have to get the credit card extended and buy a communal yurt. Panache massive congrats on the new house. Does it have a couple of cottages in the grounds?

BB that sounds astonishingly painful. I'd have it checked out by the Dr but if you're anything like me you'll be too embarrassed at taking up their time. I seem to be stuck in a 1930s time warp where Drs are concerned. I expect a stern face and a telling off for having the audacity to visit. Actually, my surgery IS a bit like that...Hmm

You'll not know ex-dh unless you're ancient. He's Tony Francis - used to present sport, Heart of the Country, Tales from the Country. Here's a naff clip of us both presenting the programme. Talk about 'smug marrieds'. He is a lot older than me (19 years). Not sure that there's much difference now! He's very popular with the 'older ladies'. Bit of a silver fox, bless him.

hopefulgum · 07/06/2011 23:42

Thankyou for the little look at the RL you lol - you are lovely! It looked really cold out there though! Did you work in telly for long? You are a teacher now, right? I've always said teaching is lowly paid acting anyway. You sort of have to put on a show for the kids. I'm dreading going back at the end of July, but hopefully it's only til Christmas and I'll be off again.

Glad you got your dog back. Our dog, Lola, will run off at any opportunity and hence, despite having loads of space has to be tied up.She scales the fences and runs off to catch kangaroos ( I kid you not!Grin)

Beattie, sorry to hear you are feeling yuck with the clomid. I hope it's just doing a fantastic job, gearing you up for a big plump juicy egg that will be a gorgeous baby in 9 months time.

As for me - I'm having a very anxious time. I want so much to relax and enjoy this, but my symptoms are so mild compared to past pregnancies (even the last one which ended in missed mc). I'm not very nauseous and my boobs really don't hurt much at all. I'm so paranoid. So I poas again yesterday and it is a very quick, dark line. This in itself doesn't reassure me either because you can have hcg in your system even after a mc. I'm driving myself potty thinking about it all the time. The ultrasound can't come quick enough, but there again, I'm terrified of what we might (not) see. I'm so pleased you're getting the Snug chopper out for me. I'm going to need you there with me. Can someone put me in a coma for 6 weeks please....I'm a bloody mess.

Sorry for the massive whinge. I know so many of you want so much to be pregnant and I should just shut up and enjoy it. Having a mc really taints things, doesn't it? Otherwise I'd be pleased as punch that I don't have strong pregnancy symptoms - enjoying the fact that I'm not too nauseous. Perhaps I'll be sorry I said this in a couple of weeks?

Italiangreyhound · 08/06/2011 00:39

Hi to all.

Hope everyone is OK.

Sorry not been in touch much but not much to add from my end. Not that you would want much from my end! ha ha.

Food thing going OK. Doing a small presentation at work tomorrow, kind of, excited, kind of!

Gum try not to worry, easily said but the reality is it won't change things if you worry but it will just spoil it for you. Just try and relax. Wink

Shandy hugs to you. Sad

Hippy keep checking those Biscuit Biscuits!

Angelgeorgie, TTT and Diege* - hope all continues well.

Jolls how goes it, honey?

BB, lol, 1000firseflies, FF, Tina, shandy, Nicole, and Panshe - baby dust to all.
