Panshe so sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my dad suddenly and it was very sad. It does get easier as time goes on but you can't rush the grieving process. I just wish you peace at this very sad time.

Diege I've finally got to a computer - it's 12.45 but I couldn't go to bed without finding out if you were ok! So so so pleased. You had me worried. A heartbeat. That must have been an amazing moment. Can sleep soundly now.

My AF still hasn't kicked in and I'm on day 29 . I think that the reflexology session on day 8 probably delayed my ovulation, if you remember (or care) I ran out of OPK's and didn't bother to keep checking. I had pains on day 14 but may well have ov'd later. I am a bit annoyed with myself cos I think i stopped SWI a bit too early if that is the case.

Anyway, I will probably do the reflexology again this month cos it did seem to give me a good cycle, I just need to be even more dedicated to the shagging bit [yawny fed up with TTC sex face]. And I will have to keep doing the OPK's even though I said I'd give them up (cos I don't like not knowing when I ov).

DS2 STILL off sick but definitely seems better. He'll be back to school tomorrow. We are going to see Rango for a belated birthday trip on Saturday with a 7 x 8 year old boys and 2 x older boys then to McDonald's. My DH says "Shoot me now!"

Hello! Thanks again for all the lovely messages . I was in bed straight after my beloved Waterloo road last night, and slept until 6.30 so can't be bad! Bleeding has stopped too more or less though I won't bee overly concerned if it comes and goes. I will have to take care after 12 wks if it still continues as I'll need to have anti-D after a bleed (rhesus neg person!).
Hippy you may indeed have ovulated later than you think, going on the pains. Would it be worth temping next month, even just to establish ov, and then leaving it if it makes you too anxious/obsessive?
Lou am I right in thinking your scan is early afternoon? I will squeeze in too at the back of the helicopter if that's ok

Spa break sounds fab Lou - very but boy do you deserve it. My friend is treating me to a day at the spa for my birthday (May) which will be wonderful!
Sickness was appallingly back last night, and ended up throwing up in the kitchen sink. I was quite pleased though in a sad way. Rough today, but from memory if I can hold on another few weeks it should start to ease. Dh was sweet, saying 'we've seen the culprit now'
Love to all - thanks again for all your support. I did actually think of the snug as I was called through for the scan (in a 'let's get this over with then girls' sort of way) and couldn't wait to report back.

Oh and Hippy you must tell me what Rabgo is like - dds have been askng for a while, though they shudder at the trailer. I sympathise with your dh's response!

I only chose Rango cos it has Johnny Depp's voice - i think I'll just close my eyes (can't do that Hippy -you are meant to be looking after a loads of kids).

Really hope DS2 is gonna be well by saturday. He was sat with me a while ago and did a little fart and whoosh (anyone remember trainspotting ).

Then he was on the toilet for ages and said to me, "Mum I don't want to die on the toilet like Elvis did!" Do you think I should wait to book the cinema tickets ????

hippy have you restricted what your ds eats i.e. diary products? How long has he had the squirts for now?

Bless your ds Hippy! I don't know what to suggest really re: the tickets. Would 'the bottom' be manageable in the cinema with frequent toilet trips? I know this is not ideal, just thinking of the birthday scenario and the terrible disappointment. Is he suffering with tummy ache too?

curly Since monday. he has only been allowed bread or toast to eat and watered down juice, water or coke to drink since then. No dairy allowed. DH says to stop feeding him but it's very hard when they are starving hungry

diege we were sat at the computer in moshyworld (trying to cheer up his depressed flippin' moshy monster!) and DS2 did a fart followed by a squelchy noise and he just said "Oh crap, i did it!" (where does he get that language from Hippy?) We then had to throw away a pair of pj bottoms. So possibly not managable at the cinema . Surely he wont still be squitting in another 48 hours???

Mmm not sure about the watered down juice or coke. Is ds not happy to drink water at all? Would your ds eat plain boiled rice? I would think he'd be ok by Saturday but you could always give him Imodium to be sure of no accidents.

hippy I think banana, water only, porridge/rice is the way forward!
DS has had no bottom activity for 26 hours now. Brilliant!!

Good scan AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sonograogher lovely i explained why i HATE scans and straigt away she said "there you go a nice strong heartbeat now i ll be a minute taking measurements" .Apparently sac looks good,strong heartbeat she showed us the outline of bean, head etc.....Measured at 8 weeks, 6 days so all good.Then "bumped" in to bereavement midwife who was shite and we have never been back to her support group!!!! So long chat with her.
Phewee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now breathe , only 2 weeks reprive!!!!!
Gum come along to my spa break? Why not indeed?
