hi all.

lol sorry about your discussions with dp - I hope that issues can be resolved or that the cramps you are experiencing are implantation cramps!

shandy glad everything is going ok with you.

Jolls hello???

I did a sneaky poas yesterday afternoon and got a smily face (ahead of today's peak on the monitor) so sneaked a quick swi in. I'll try with dh tonight, although he's not good 2 days in a row Hmm and then am away tomorrow. Even if I only get 1 swi yesterday, I feel ok - all other signs were there for yesterday being a good day (ewcm etc) so in with a good chance. possibly tmi but feeling very erm in the mood today. wonder if clomid had an effect on my sex drive actually. Poor dh won't know what's hit him when I get home! (how amazing are our bodies to do this to us?). Anyway, now you can picture me trying to do very serious work in a state of frustration!

Italian glad you are finding out more about your eating issues. i really hope it all works out for you as well in the next couple of months.

hippychick66 · 09/05/2011 09:52

laughed at BB - he's not very good 2 days in a row -poor old Mr BeatieBow Grin

Glad to hear you think the clomid made you fruity - I could do with that BB. I am doing sperm meets egg again this month and am just a tiny bit sick of TTC (but don't tell DH - i don't think he knows!!!)

lou wonderful news about hearing GBOS - give him/her my love XXX

BeattieBow · 09/05/2011 10:03

no I think the clomid took away my natural fruitiness unfortunately, although it could just have been the worry over taking it of it causing overstimulation syndrome or messing me all up.

I've also had enough of ttc, so we've just been doing it when I've we've wanted this month. Wink

hippychick66 · 09/05/2011 10:23

That is a much better way of course BB. But for us the door is almost closed and I feel like I have to give it my all for these last few months - but I am looking forward to the time when i can have sex for pleasure when I fancy it and not cos the friggin' opk says "GO!"

BeattieBow · 09/05/2011 10:59

I understand how you feel hippy. I am only cooling down this month as dh doesn't have a job and we might all be in a 3 bedroom flat soon, so am thinking that it isn't really the right time to get pg. (and sort of hoping that sod's law will apply and I'll get pg anyway)

Diege · 09/05/2011 11:23

Morning Smile
Hippy when do you start the clomid? I must say you are sounding very grounded (not that you usually don't Wink). Is it just the 3 mths you are on it for? (my friend got pregant on her 4th mths of being on it - not that this should influence you!).
BB fingers crossed sod's law applies..sort of!
LOu sounds interesting..is the Dews Clinic reallly awful to work in then? Great on doppler too - I am too scared to buy one but can see how it can be very reassuring.
Shandy, things are sounding very positive for you. Keep up the good work! Do you have an early scan booked or are you waiting for 12 week?
Lol bloody hell I'm torn between crying for you and smacking your dh in the face Confused. I really hope you can get through and that he can show a bit of empathy. As others have said fertility isn't guaranteed whatever your age.
Italian it sounds like you have a lovely supportive network with your group and church friends. I too loved the vision of the snippy gold bits floating away with thoughts of the snug!
Off for a work trip today, staung overnight. Don't really fancy it as:
a. I am the harbinger of doom who is going to poop the party of the 'team' I am meeting...
b. My boss has asked me to try and keep news of the pregnancy quiet from them. I agree timing sucks but honestly it will be a miracle if they don't notice Blush
Love to all x

hippychick66 · 09/05/2011 11:32

diege Lol bloody hell I'm torn between crying for you and smacking your dh in the face - you are the kinda mate we all needed in the playground Grin

Have fun on your over-nighter. Why can't you tell people about the pregnancy? - it's your news not your boss's!!

I am around ov time this month - so will be starting clomid when/if AF arrives in a couple of weeks. I can't have more than 3 months without seeing a specialist. Actually I have worked out that we should just about be re-locating as I am on the last month of using clomid so that kinda ties in with new starts and one door closing and another opening etc [IYSWIM]

I'm watching that inside the human body thing at the moment. Love the idea of DH's sperm snoozing and then my egg comes along and wakes them up - kinda like real life Grin

Diege · 09/05/2011 13:33

Grin Hippy I'm all mouth and no trousers I'm afraid! Re: boss it's tough as we're trying to set something up with another uni' and it's sort of dependent on me being around next year. Tomorrow it's yes or no, so if we can just get through then the maternity thing can come up later...I'll only be gone for 4 months or so, but the thought of that is enough to get the assessers 'twitchy' - not like I'm anything special, but they are very needy. Final meeting in July, and no way will I manage that unless I wheeled in and out in a wheelchair..

hippychick66 · 09/05/2011 13:39

Oh ok I see. Well you have my permission to keep it quiet for a bit longet then Smile

ps. I'm all fur coat and no knickers GrinGrin

Isaboo · 09/05/2011 15:57

All fur coat and no knickers ? is that the same as big hat no cows ? feeling very strange today sort of wired and tense for absolutely no reason I HATE SYMPTOM SPOTTING Angry also suffering from acute road rage both in the car and out .....soooo Lol once Deige has finished with your dh can I have him for a bit of a slap chat too !

My ds has just got a xbox 360 kinnect for his birthday, the boxing is great for my current anger management .......how are your symptoms going Panashe

Hippy watch that renting thing we did that ..."just to get a feel for the area" got really happy and picky cos the rental and the neighbours were lovely and were still there 3 years later ...not clever

hippychick66 · 09/05/2011 16:49

isaboo - very funny post. Loving the anger management thing. Hope it's a symptom Grin

louisesh · 09/05/2011 18:28

Oh hi BB and Isaboo sorry i "neglected" you before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good going bb you got to love those smiley faces!!!!
Diege we cover 3 clinics including Dews.Dews itself is ok and the reception staff are lovely there's just 1 person who's awful.Very long story but years ago before we all rotated she was very pally with the permenant staff there she thinks we "made " them leave as they didn t want to rotate all this culminated in her accusing 5 of us of bullying her!!!! Every time she's due to rotate she rimgs in sick and nothing gets done.Theres been loads of other shit she's got away with as well all because we had a very weak manager. However we ve now got a new manager who s very strong we ve high hope s for change!!!!! How good it is there all depends on what staff you ve got with you there.Ho hum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ve stocked myself up with other work stuff to do if my clinics are quiet to keep me occupied....

*Big hat no cows!!!!" never heard that before!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However i know a few people who qualify as "fur coat no knickers!!!!" XXXX

shandybass · 09/05/2011 22:03

Hi
I saw the doctor today. A new one. It was a tad embarrassing as I blubbed trying to explain that yes being pg was a good thing for me and going through my checkered pg/mc past. Anyway she's booked me in for an early scan as a result at 8 wks. So that's good.

Hugs to Panashe, Lou, Tank, Curly, brinjal Diege, Alba Jolly HopefulGum BB, Isaboo, Nicole, and all.

jolls any news?

Italiangreyhound · 09/05/2011 23:03

Well we are at the top of the list but need to wait a bit now as our holiday is in the way! It is all very well to think sod the holiday (I kind of do) but now it is almost here I can wait. It gives me a few more weeks to get in shape so June has turned into August. So there we go! Feel good.

hippychick66 · 09/05/2011 23:30

shandy I totally understand you blubbing at the docs. When I had my pregnancy after my MMC and I heard the doctor say I was high risk on the phone to the EPU I wanted to blub too. Good luck for the scan - will you be requiring the helicopter m'lady??

jolls how goes it??

italian I hope the extra 2 months fly by and that now you are on top of your eating probs you use those extra weeks wisely (Hippy gets all bossy Grin)

lou hello lovie.

All big hat and no cows - WTF Confused that one must be made up - surely!!!

Isaboo · 09/05/2011 23:51

Nope is all the rage in Texas I hear.

Oh yes another copter ride.......pls can I not be next to Deige this time ... Nothing personal Deige but I am still feeling a bit unsettled by your bulging gravysick eyes and to be honest you and Lou must be getting a bit big for the copter now ? Unless it's a chinook (sp?) Grin ...
shandy I don't want to appear selfish but is there any chance of you being a bit sicky?

hippychick66 · 10/05/2011 08:45

isaboo I will believe you but thousands wouldn't - Texas indeed! Wink

Think I fancy being the pilot for the latest scan - really enjoyed it last time i 'drove' a 'copter.

I'm on my last SWI today (whoop whoop) think I ov's yesterday but have planned another go for tonight - blimey, God loves a trier Grin

hippychick66 · 10/05/2011 09:34

Just heard about poor Kelly Brooke - lost her baby at 5 months Sad.

I have always been v. jealous of her - what with her being soo beautiful and the fact that my DH sooo fancies her. But i do feel for her now, she must be devastated, poor love.

hippychick66 · 10/05/2011 10:10

diege are you watching the new Psychoville???

BeattieBow · 10/05/2011 11:24

hi everyone. Yes poor Kelly Brook. There seems to be alot of late celeb miscarriages at the moment. How awful.

We did a hippy this morning and set the alarm for a shag! That's probably my last swi too as I'm away with work tonight/overnight. Had my peaks on the monitor yesterday and today and a positive OPK on Sunday. Temperature dip today (although difficult for me to tell as I wake up so many times) which is apparently a good sign that OV is occuring today.

any more rages isaboo?

hippychick66 · 10/05/2011 12:28

Well done Mr BB !!!!

BeattieBow · 10/05/2011 13:47

ha ha it was a struggle hippy Grin

(and he worked late on Monday night so avoided the 2 in a row scenario anyway!).

panashe · 10/05/2011 13:52

Hi everyone

Well I had curried beans for breakfast Hmm make of that what you will..

But I am very very tearful today, so could be onset of pmt Sad

sorry its a quickie, love to all xx

randomimposter · 10/05/2011 15:34

hi peeps
sorry have been AWOL :(

Well having a ChemPg here, my 2 BFPs on Fri and Sun were never very convincing tbh, and have started bleeding today. How exciting though, I can add a CP to my long list of pregnancy fail. Jollster BA (Hons), 3MMCs, CIPD, and now CP (Pants) GrinHmm...

BUT it has kicked me up the arse to order some DHEA which I was (gently) recommended by the clinic in December to try and youthen (just had to check that's even a word!) my eggs. I also ordered some more prog cream. I used it this month for the first time since last MC and although it obviously hasn't worked out that well, at least I did get a BFP this month (which I haven't for blimmin' ages)...

Anyway, sorry for me me me post, will pop back later; got to dash to get DS from nursery, and off to a friend's birthday picnic in the park.

Hope our bumps are doing well and there's plenty of SWI going on in the right places Grin x

hippychick66 · 10/05/2011 16:17

Jolls - shite really does happen to nice people doesn't it??Sad

So sorry to hear that the BFP didn't work out. As you said, it is good in a way that something was attempting to happen and many on here have had a CP followed swiftly by a much stronger pregnancy. You deserve some luck, matey. Might google DHEA.... Hmm My eggs defo need youthening Smile
