Hey worm I am sorry you are having a wobble today, I know that there is not much I can say to help but I guess try to rest today and think about other things. And just because things happened like that before, doesn't mean they will again.

Big hug to you

Star82 · 29/05/2011 12:03

Thanks Nurse, how are you??

Worm, we're doing all the universal parks in the first bit of the holiday. Rip Ride Rocket i think you're on about? It was shut last year so we couldn't go on it. I'm not telling ANYONE this time so this will be tricky as everyone will wonder why i'm not going on rides. I've been banging on about Harry Potter since we missed the opening by a matter of days last year.....i've got to go on that one :(. No chance of Jimmy Neutron, yuk!! Might just have to choose carefully and if i go on any, make sure that movement is restricted on them and i don't sit at the back where you get thrown around more and feel more g force. We'll see. I could change my mind and decide not to go on.
Could poss be the bathroom episode. If i was 1-2 yesterday and then 2-3 today then i'll count each Sunday as a new week. That would make it 2 days post our little quickie so quite possible Wink.

Been to the gym this morning and felt so sick afterwards. Might be all in my head though cos not sure really about exercising and if it's ok. Wombat, you're a fitness freak, what do you think?

Wormshuffler · 29/05/2011 12:44

Ah yeah , thats the one! it was a great ride! but me and dd both banged our heads alot. The harry potter one in the castle doesnt chuck you about, it did make me feel a bit sick though the first time, but so worth it. absolutley a must go on. Just enjoy it i'm so jealous!! We had the most amazing time.

Good to see you again nurse hope all is well?

pecka33 · 29/05/2011 12:53

nurse47 · 29/05/2011 15:36

We are over the moon, I'm having my last scan on friday so going to ask them to double check everything is ok again and check its a girl then I'm off to buy all new stuff as didn't save much with my first DD x

emmaandthestar · 29/05/2011 19:25

Arrghh, I gave in - POAS this morning and got a....
....BFN :(
awful clearblue - they show a positive an hour later - you glimpse it in the bin and get excited and realise it is an evap line Angry

Had an extra long run this morning and a big glass of Wine this evening. DH is really upset since we made a real effort on the SWI this month...

Star that's really good news, I am like you too, have to do 2 to make sure it's really right... enjoy the nice gentle relaxing rides!

Worm are you sure it wasn't just reaching up to the ceiling constantly that's pulled something? I don't blame you for mentalling but it would be huge odds to have something go wrong at exactly the same time - sending positive thoughts your way

wombatinwaiting · 30/05/2011 07:09

Oh emma - I'm sorry to hear that - any chance you could have tested too early....? Glad to hear that you had a large glass of Wine to help with the disappointment..... sending hugs. HAve you something nice planned for today's bank hol?

Good news on moving up on the CB digi star - are you really sure you don't want to tell DH? If he's anything like mine, he'd be cross with me as he'd want to share in the ups and downs of this (and I'm not referring to the rides!) and you might find yourself getting caught up in a whole tangled web trying to explain away you not going on some of the rides.... re: the sickness at the gym - were you hydrated enough as you exercised and had you enough to eat beforehand to provide you with enough fuel for a workout? It really is ok to carry on exercising as you normally do during early pg, but do listen to your body e.g. if you are feeling sick, that may be a sign to stop.... could of course be good old morning sickness?

And how are you doing today worm? Can completely understand the mentalling - tend to agree with emma about pulling muscles / ligaments and if it was tummy more than lower down, that would make sense..... really hope you start the sickness again soon (in the nicest possible way of course).

What about you yellow? My fingers and toes are still crossed for you and I even dreamt about you last night! Shock Hope you're hanging in there and at least enjoying some bank holiday Wine.

How is the move going harassed? Hope you're not overdoing things....

And good going on the SWI pecka Wink - if anyone can do it, you can!

Hope your patience gets rewarded this month wellie and you're not feeling too much pressure post your brother's news [hugs]

Are you taking it easy this weekend sparkly? How are you feeling about tomorrow's scan? - thinking of you and baby Monty.

Any update from you marathon or are you getting familiar with your CM? Grin

A little bundle of pink nurse -how exciting!

Really nothing at all to report from here other than pelvic floor exercises have resumed but with a little less vigour! Grin

OP posts:
yellowtomato · 30/05/2011 08:59

Hi emma is it possible you tested too early? I know some people don't test positive straight away, can take a week or so.......when is af due?

worm how you doing? How are pains and the mentalling?

A girl.......fantastic news nurse

Hello pecka glad to hear the SWI is in full.........erm swing!

What was I doing in your dream wombat? Still no news here.......mentalling is at an all time high. Still have a crampy feeling but nothing else really, slightly tingling boobs but I may be imagining that. I can't decide whether to get a test today or not.......I'm day 32 and haven't had a cycle that long since I had a very stressful month more than a year ago........I'm just not sure what to do for the best.......arrrrggggghhhhh. sparkly have you got a fish handy?

wombatinwaiting · 30/05/2011 09:06

Get a test yellow!! Day 32 is as you say longest for you - it could of course stop the mentalling! I may then tell you about my dream Grin....

Get ye to the shops and post back here asap (please)!

OP posts:
yellowtomato · 30/05/2011 09:35

hmmmm you're a bossy one today wombat I think it might just take the mentalling to a whole new level. I am entertaining myself by sitting on the sofa poking my boobs...not sure what I'm hoping to achieve there!

Shops not open yet as it's a bank holiday........I still have a crampy feeling though.....I'm thinking my last cycle was much shorter than usual so it could just be being balanced out with this one being much longer?

wombatinwaiting · 30/05/2011 10:29

Well, whatever turns you on yellow! Grin. It is possible that testing might take you to a different sort of mentalling of course . It's 10.30 with you now - shops must be open by now....

Oh and I have previously dismissed your short / long cycle theory as you had long /short / short / long / short so therefore by obvious wombat logic, you're due for another short one Smile

Having said all this, I don't want to get your hopes up and make you feel worse so please do ignore all of the above and get back to your book-poking.....

OP posts:
yellowtomato · 30/05/2011 11:30

Ok so I have been to the shop and have a test. Am just waiting to need a wee. I think, haven't totally decided to use it, not sure if I am ready to have hopes dashed.

Star82 · 30/05/2011 11:38

wombat I've told DH last night. Sent him a photo text of the clearblue pregnancy test in bed late last night :). He was soooo shocked. Ecstatic though!!! Currently negotiating the M25 nr Heathrow, en route to gatwick. He's desperate to tell his parents who we're going away with so I'm trying to hold his reigns!

Will you wait till it feels right to test then yellow or wait till day 33/34? Really hope this is the month for you as know how long it took you last time :). It's ok.....I often like a good old grope of my own boobs too Grin. I do have a nice handful though!!!! Hehe!!!!

yellowtomato · 30/05/2011 12:29

I did the test........BFP!!!!!!!!! Says 'pregnant 2-3'

Arghhhh now the mentalling really can begin.

Wormshuffler · 30/05/2011 12:56

WWOOOOOOOHHHOOOOOOOOO Grin Grin Get the hell in there!!! yellow and star in one weekend! absolutely fantasicical news. I'm so very happy for you!!! Welcome to the mentalling club!!!! I so knew were gonna be too!! I'm welling up here !

Hope you have a lovely time star

I'm back to feeling rubbish again, tummy was just like how it feels when I've done too many sit-ups, thats all I think. Dh is back, He has been working away and just gave Me a condescending talk about eating too much, he is only being lovely and thinking of Me, but if I get hungry I get sick!! and healthy stuff just doesn't work at keeping it at bay!!

A girl hey nurse lovely stuff, you can actually start looking at clothes and bedding!! I reckon I am in for a girl too, but won't be finding out (that is a very positive thing for Me to have said)!!

Wormshuffler · 30/05/2011 13:33

I think that is all Us ex Jue in June-ers now updiuffed again .......before June!!! So happy :) :)

wombatinwaiting · 30/05/2011 13:36

OP posts:
wombatinwaiting · 30/05/2011 13:40

I'm so pleased you told DH star - what a lovely way to start your hols! Am with you on not telling his parents as well though! Hopefully you can keep your little secret between the two of you a little longer. Have a truly wonderful time - will you be able to keep us updated on your hols? x

OP posts:
wombatinwaiting · 30/05/2011 13:42

And sorry worm - so glad to hear you're back to feeling rubbish Grin - hope that has helped the mentalling. I'm with you about eating to keep the sickness at bay - the healthiest things I found were bananas and potatoes, if that helps at all.....

OP posts:
pecka33 · 30/05/2011 15:11

OMG MASSIVE CONGRATS YELLOW!!! Fab news. X

yellowtomato · 30/05/2011 15:45

Thank you so much ladies. I know as we've been on this journey together that there was real doubt whether it would happen for me. A long way to go though as I was given a 75% chance of mc if I got pg again. I guess I have to try and take one day at a time and keep the mentalling as much in control as poss.

And pecka hopefully this will be a lucky month for you too. How is the swi going?

pecka33 · 30/05/2011 16:06

Yellow think positive, this ones made it this far and we all know what a difficult journey that little ones been on already...
I'm trying to keep positive but this month is our 10 month post mmc, I suppose were now only 2 months away from getting some answers if it doesn't happen between now and then, so that's one postive aspect.
I think I'm currently on day 11? My cycles are all over the place ranging from 28 to 33, last month being 29 so neally back to my normal 28 day cycles post mmc, so maybe its a sign my hormones are settling back down.
I've put on aleast a stone since my mmc so I'm concentrating of trying to lose that stone and cutting back on the wine and coffee where possible. Thanks for thinking of me, were all on the journey together still in my eyes, I'm just yet to reach my destination.
Emma sorry af got you.
Wellie, how are you? Any news?
Nurse, a pink one, how fab.
How's everyones else doing on this fine back holiday?
Can't believ I'm back at work again in the morning after four days off!

pecka33 · 30/05/2011 16:08

P.s thinking of changing my name back so watch out for a newbie. X

wombatinwaiting · 30/05/2011 16:46

We are absolutely all on this journey together at whatever phase we're at. I realise what a mentally tough time you have ahead of you yellow and we are here at every stage for you as you have been for us - one day at a time is good.

Here's to you this month too pecka and goodness knows you've been putting in the effort. Good going on doing something proactive too.
