ooohh lovely and posh in here!! Thanks Wellie, chocolate and cake at 9am is just what the doc ordered Grin.

Well....... it's a BFN from me. Darn evap lines Hmm. Why don't I feel as gutted as I thought I would?! I really wanted a bfp (obviously). Anyway, I'm starting couch to 5k today, so send fit thing vibes and oxygen this way! Need to lose the comfort eating chocolate weight. Do they do a large sized pre-seed??! Dh won't know what's hit him next month

Emma welcome, sorry you have to be here though. I had mmc in Jan also. They're lovely here, they just pretend to be scary Wink.

yellow I think the impact of no herbs will be that they'll taste even fouler when you have to take them again!!

I'm doing the same as wombat and sparkly and only buying floaty or stretchy clothes too. Actually that's my normal style tbh! Bit of a boho/hippy with the odd smart work outfit. Have you tried Asda leggings? £6!! Fab, much better than my £15 Top Shop ones.

Pecka so sorry things are bad lovely. How are you feeling today?

harassedinherpants · 14/03/2011 09:08

Took me so long to type darn post that you got there first yellow!

I waited until this morning to poa expensive s Grin. Just waiting for af now....

pecka33 · 14/03/2011 09:50

morning ladies, well were talking again, kindof got thrown together yesterday as it was mission sort the garden out for the summer yesterday!!
Nothings actually got sorted, apart from him pulling his finger out and doing some bits around the house...
Symptom watch, sorry tmi, a slight brownish tinge stain in my white knickers today??? Its either a sign my af is on its way or implatation??? Please tell me if im getting ahead of myself...
janey welcome, seems like youve slotted in very nicely.
harrassed sorry u got a bfn, whens ur af due??
yellow good luck for today, hope it all goes well,

goodmorning to everyone else. X

harassedinherpants · 14/03/2011 10:10

pecka glad you spent some time together, even if it's gardending. Sounds like a good symptom!!

No idea when af is due tbh. It's first proper cycle after mmc. Turned up 28 days after erpc though, does that mean anything?

yellowtomato · 14/03/2011 10:22

Hey pecka glad things are a little better, what CD are you on? and what is normal cycle length

harassed same question to you, what CD are you on? You could just be testing too early, any good symptoms?

I'm not buying any clothes at all because I'm fatter than I want to be and refuse to buy bigger clothes. Will have to if I get the job unless it's ok for me to go to work in tracksuit bottoms...

Arrrrrghhh, I can't bear the tension...have I got the job or not? Sorry for going on about it so much, hopefully the pain will be over for us all soon!

harassedinherpants · 14/03/2011 10:29

Cd28 today, so I think it's fair to say I'm out! Or have weird hormones lol. Strangely, I feel ok about it...

Yellow I have good feelings when you talk about the job. I'm sure you'll be the new Stella Rimmington Wink.

pecka33 · 14/03/2011 10:34

hiya, im on cd27, my periods are generally 28 days but was 30 last month as i ov,d late, where as this month dont know when i ov,d as the reflexology messed my cycle up a little.
If im honest i feel like im about to come on.... I have no pg symptoms at all and have been cheekylt testing throughout the past week and got bfn everytime!!!

wombatinwaiting · 14/03/2011 10:42

Ooooh - feeling the tension for you yellow.... is final interview with Moneypenny or M or Q? Grin. I think you said the afternoon...? Whenever it is, I'm sending double strength positive vibes over to London. Loving your mn theory about the OP getting the bfp - we shall see in about 72 hours! Didn't stop me having a glass of bubbles at lunch to celebrate a new friend's job though Blush - now of course not in the mood to do any work at all. Only a couple of hours til I need to leave for my physio appt though and then I'm off to a seminar called "Attain the Career you want" - blurb as follows:
^Use the following steps to help with projecting a business professional look.
What should I purchase? Learn how to build an impactful business professional wardrobe.
How to shop with a career in mind. Hairstyle tips that exude competence and professionalism.
Learn what impression you make on people you meet!^

Could be a load of twaddle or could be quite useful - free canapes and a goodie bag if nothing else!

Glad you like it harassed - spent months doing the place up Grin. Sorry you got the bfn but still no af, right? As I think someone else has said, the first cycle post MC is called the WTF cycle and can occur any time between 3 and 8 weeks post ERPC. V impressed with your couch to 5k effort - I did that about 18 months ago and to my huuuuuuge surprise, found that I enjoyed running - I think the trick is to not expect results instantly - you have to build up gradually but don't be afraid to push yourself. When you think you're ready to give up, just do one more minute and you'll be amazed how those extra minutes tot up. If you want any other tips, I'd be happy to pass them on but am aware I can be a tad over-enthusiastic at times (isn't that right sparkly? Wink )

Glad to hear you and DH spent some time together pecka even if it was gardening. I read somewhere recently about the huge benefits to relationships of doing something different together. Apparently doing something different releases some sort of feel good chemical and so if you're both doing it, you're both going to feel good.... would like to offer some advice re: implantation / early af signs but I don't know anything. I think worm did some googling on it last month....

OP posts:
yellowtomato · 14/03/2011 10:45

Hmm ladies.....not over till the fat lady is warbling....

pecka are you going to have reflexology again? doesn't sound like it helped too much this month though.

I'll still keep fingers crossed for you both that af stays away.

Right, who else do I need to keep my eye on?

harassedinherpants · 14/03/2011 10:50

Thanks Wombat, I'm sure I'll be after tips! Once upon a time I used to be super fit and do loads of cross country running. Hoping I'll enjoy it as much as I used to. Also thinking of doing a Pilates class. Would love to do yoga again, but can't find one that fits in with dh's training (boxer).

Enjoy the seminar. I'm lucky working in electrical engineering within the entertainment industry, it's all very relaxed and casual and I'm not often called upon to get dressed up.

Are of any of you temping?? I gave it a half hearted attempt before.... Any tips?

harassedinherpants · 14/03/2011 10:57

I am NOT cd28, only 26. How the hell did I muddle that up??? Stooopid......

yellowtomato · 14/03/2011 11:09

Hey harassed I do some temping. The first month I tried I got all stressed and would wake up in the night that it was time to temp etc so was not getting good sleep anymore. So i decided to stop and then calmed down and started again. One thing for sure is that the time you take it makes a significant difference. I once took mine at 5am, 7 and 7.45 (I know) and there were big differences. So now because I wake up a good 2 hours or more later at the weekend I don't bother taking temps at the weekend. And you're only really looking for a patter after all (well that's my take on it) so my temp is always 97.something pre ov and 98. something after and that's all I need to know.

I get confused with my CD dates all the time!

wombat ooh bubbles, lovely. I cannot do any work if I drink at lunchtime. Seminar sounds interesting, i'd love to know if you get any interesting tips. I do love a good canape! So i've got to keep my beady eye on you too, 72 hour count down.....it's exhausting all this! Grin

wombatinwaiting · 14/03/2011 11:20

That's a great start if you used to do all that cross-country running harassed - muscle memory is quite astonishing. Yellow can give you the low-down on pilates. I found it a bit hard to be honest but do enjoy yoga. I am also a half-hearted temper - if not successful this cycle, might give it another whirl..... and yes to confusion with cycle dates. I think I'm CD25 today so very close behind you!

Yawning my head off here - fortunately, our office assistant has just brought me afternoon cuppa so hoping that will perk me up a little - could kill for one of those TimTams now though....

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 14/03/2011 11:27

Scratch last post......cd28!! Have just spent last 10 mins counting days on my fingers and wondering why they don't tie up with my diary days. Well that would be because I missed Sunday on two week.

wombatinwaiting · 14/03/2011 11:42

Oh dear harassed - don't worry, there is a special corner in the coffee lounge for discalculia mners..... Grin

OP posts:
pecka33 · 14/03/2011 13:13

Yellow, yes i think i may as it really helped my ibs, but maybe i will tst for my ovulation from that day....
wombat, champers for lunch sounds yummy!! im jealous... i also would like to know the outcome of your course could come in handy for my day to day job, im a regional manager.... (maybe i should already know this information?? Blush)Harrassed, i alos got in a state with my temps last month, im planning on being more organised with them this month, so thx for the advice yellow.
wombat, thx for your advice on doing something different, i think it certainly took our minds off our problems for all of a second... lol

yellowtomato · 14/03/2011 15:21

so it's done.......he said they have 'several' short listed candidates.....is that true or is he bluffing?

Need to go and have a lie down........I think the waiting part is worse than the interview part....

wombatinwaiting · 14/03/2011 18:08

Well done for getting through it yellow - other than relief, how else are you feeling about it? Positive? Ambivalent? Personally I suspect he's bluffing - with the amount of interviews you've had, they couldn't have done that for "several" candidates - I think it's code for he needs to speak to someone else first - I guess he wouldn't be the one offering you the job, that would be down to HR.... we are of course still in desperate suspense as to what it is!

Seminar tonight was v v good pecka for a couple of reasons - firstly, the lady doing the image consultancy stuff really knew her onions and was v inspirational - all about the opinions people make of us in the first 30 seconds (our marital status, level of wealth, profession etc) and the 12 positive things people want to see in others and how much what we project in our image impacts on these things. I'll see if I can get any info to send on - I think it's useful for every professional woman.

Secondly, a colleague of DH's was there too and she had an ERPC a month ago after total shock (for her) discovery of mmc. DH had told her DH (also a colleague) of our experience and she really wanted to talk. SHe was pretty teary but it was lovely to be able to help her - assure her that what she was feeling was perfectly normal (including the dark thoughts to other pg women), that she is very early days and that she should be kind to herself etc. It was a bit of a revelation for me in that everything we've shared here was so easy to share with her- it's kind of like this is counselling-in-training that makes it much easier to counsel in RL. Yellow - as someone who is qualified (or very nearly qualified?) in counselling - what are your thoughts on that?

Waves to all - off to bed now x

OP posts:
Wormshuffler · 14/03/2011 18:52

Wow you have have been busy chatting alot today!!!

Yellow I am sure he must be bluffing.....will he end up being your Boss when Grin you get it? as it does sound a wee bit like he is on a power trip, I have never heard of anyone having to jump through so many hoops for a job....
harassed it's not over yet! I didn't get a positive until a week after I was late with my DC's, the witch ain't singing yet! and the same goes for you pecka, and loads of people say they have had implantation bleeding which was brownish!
I keep track of my cycle on the kitchen calendar, so far DH hasn't asked what all the numbers and stars are, or the winks that I draw on nookie days!.
I love my jogging harassed it's my "Me time" and I started off with a 5k and now 10k is what I like to aim for. I usually do a 10K race every year in march, however this year I havn't done the training as kind of thought I would be PG by now.....
wombat a "gergil" is a drunk "gerbil" Confused Wink like the symptoms.......when do you test, when do you test ????

wellie what is the SMEP plan Confused

Well as for me I have bought the brazil nuts and grapefruits?? I read somewhere that this helps the womb lining? as that is this weeks paranioa panicing about my very light AF's . And am on the hunt for EWCM ( well not right now as I type) but generally..

Waves xx

yellowtomato · 14/03/2011 22:13

Yeh worm he would be my boss.

I need a group hug right now, just found out that another person on my course is pg, and also my ex business partner is pg with her second, she was pg with her first 3 weeks behind me with my first pg. Arrrrgh feel really shit and even though it is Monday I am drinking wine Sad

pecka33 · 14/03/2011 23:01

ahhhh im so sorry yellow its shit isnt it!!!
Heres to hoping the job situation turns out in your favour, enjoy ur wine, you deserve it!!!
Bloody Pregnant bastards women!!!

yellowtomato · 14/03/2011 23:14

And I've had a row with 'd' p, I told him what I'd found out but he just shrugged and said 'what do you want me to say' well a bit of sympathy wouldn't go amiss. He said 'so are you going to be upset everytime someone gets pg?' Git. He is now in bed, I am drinking.

wombatinwaiting · 15/03/2011 03:55

Morning ladies - coffee is on and the croissants are just cooking in the oven. For yellow though there is a big bacon sarnie on its way - so sorry to hear about the row with 'D'P and the news as well - huge hug from me.

Good work on the nuts and grapefruit worm. How does AF now compare to pre-MC? 50% lighter, 20%? and have they all been like that? Worth going to the doc for some peace of mind....?

Oh, you can add constipation to my list of "symptoms" however I'm trying not to get too excited...... testing in 2 days....

OP posts:
Wormshuffler · 15/03/2011 07:22

Bastard pg women are everywhere Envy (our previous thread graduates are not included in this sweeping statement)!!I now have 4 friends pictures on facebook that are scan pictures. 2 of them are due in the next month and are now on ML so are updating every 10 minutes something bump related. I really feel for you yellow I very lucky. Hope you don't have a [hangover emocion]

wombat My AF's are no different since the MC, but have got gradually lighter since having DS 9 and a half years ago. So it's panicing me that my hormones are diminishing. Apart from half a day I only need a thin pant liner. Last month was a bit different as it was heavier and I had PG symptoms, am positive we fertilized but it didnt stick.
I was beating myself up about that, and my having thrown myself around that month, but then remembered the same thing happened a couple of months before the MC. I don't feel comfortable going to the doctors regarding this as there are people who need this help more than me and I would feel greedy, and lets face it, we have 'only' been properly trying 6 cycles now with one ending in MC.

Sparklywine · 15/03/2011 09:14

Mmmm, Wombat, those croissants smell lovely!

Can you get your office assistant to pop one over with a strong filter coffee please Grin
Well, we're all feeling it this week aren't we? Worm, I'm worried about my light af too, I have nothing on which to base this but would expect mine to be a lot heavier if I'm having a good clear out. To my mind it's the equivalent of my dusting technique, which is lazy perfunctory to say the least. So, I have a dusty, crumby, cat-haired womb! Not ideal. I got pregnant as soon as my implant was taken out, so no recollection of what a 'normal' af should be, but Wombat I would say they are a good 37% lighter now Grin
Yellow, pregnant women are getting to me too at the moment, as my due date draws closer. A girl at work is at pretty much the same stage, and looks so excited and happy, it's a teeny bit heartbreaking. I drunk too much at the weekend and had a good weep, DH was cute and danced me round the kitchen. Men are so logical though, and probably floundering in the tidal wave of our irrationality hormones. DH often gets impatient with me, or says the wrong thing. If I was going through a squillion-stage interview process as well as demanding regular servicing, things might be a bit fraught on the home front too from time to time! Grin Go easy on each other.
