Of course we missed you pecka! Lovely to see you back and glowing with first anniversary love! (although wondering if the smut really is out of sight entirely Wink ) Sorry that AF got you and fingers crossed your new loved-up status will bring you your BFP really soon.

And v pleased to read that all is well with you sparkly and you have survived the first bout of the in-laws - how funny that they seem to know more than you about sparklymilkykid!

Oops - sorry yellow Blush - perhaps we talked previously about your June hol and so it felt as if you'd had lots. Agree that in-laws are NEVER a holiday!

Ooh - talking of hols, we might be getting our luggage back from Christchurch soon! - apparently it's in a holding bay somewhere and we have to send a friend of DH's to identify it and pack it up and send it to us. The bugger of it is that none of my lovely clothes will fit anymore Grin - a very small price to pay though Smile

That's a v funny expression worm - I think i'll use wittle more in the future. Must be a lady of the manor thing... Wink How are you feeling? Any more sickness?

Can't help with the spotting post DTD question marathon - well, not from personal experience anyway but it would make sense that things are still settling down - I think I bled for nearly 3 weeks on an on and off basis post ERPC, but everyone is different. I'm sure you've done loads of research with Dr Google already, but I found this page and all the questions on their home page particularly helpful.

Busy day again today but should be quieter tomorrow (other than a seminar to be held at the embassy and Weds and seeing as my boss has totally agreed to part time hours, I am taking thursday off Grin

Waves to all!

((((((sparkly and Pecka)))))) welcome back !!!! Ahh a holiday in greece you lucky thing, thats my favorite place. I have left morbid instructions that I want scattering around the Ceri caves off Zante.

Good that the fam all know about your up-duffed state sparkly I stupidly told My boss today, as I am not performing that great at work as i really don't give a shit my mind is not on the job.

I looked up the word wittle and it apparently doesnt exist in the meaning I have always known..........isn't it strange how regionally we all have different words. I have always thought that was a real word! I recently had a similar experience with the word "din" which is an annoyingly loud and persistant noise, in worm world, but another word no-one else I know has ever heard!! I'm rambling now........

Anyway back to topic, Hardly any sickness, just very burpy, however none of the achey feelings I had with last PG. Boobs still nice and big and firm though. 2 more weeks til I get past where I was last time can't come quick enough for me!

Waves to everyone else
xxxxx

MarathonMama · 23/05/2011 19:46

Wombat - thanks for the link, very helpful. I have been obsessively occasionally "consulting" Dr Google but most of the results seem to be threads or Yahoo! Answers. I must stop looking now; although when your dd is using a stick of broccoli to paint her ears with gravy you do need some distraction.

pecka33 · 23/05/2011 19:57

Welcome mama, sorry I haven't said hello till now, sorry you've found yourself here, but your very welcome. Just wanted to say ignore anything these ladies tell you about me its all lies!! I'm a good girl me, even though my name says other wise! Ignore all the smut comments, there confused! Its all worms fault, I won't tell you where her name orginated!!! Lol x

Wormshuffler · 23/05/2011 20:23

excuuuuussssseee Me!!! if Mama goes looking she will see that it was indeed you who started that particular conversation pecka AND you it was only about a week ago that you admitted you do it every time!!!!
So I suggest you pipe down Wink Grin

pecka33 · 23/05/2011 20:37

I will delete the evidense!!! Innocent until provent guilty!!! [Grin]!
Be carefull worm, I pull a super injunction on your ass!!! For Slander.... [Wink]
[My week away was meant to be a clean slate, so sssshhhhhh] the past is the past, I won't talk about my little friends, shuffling on landings or any more smut if you won't worm!!!! Lol xx

Star82 · 23/05/2011 20:57

Hi Wormy, Pecka, Sparkly and anyone else i know that i haven't seen still around here. Took a while to find you guys with a new thread and all!!!

Thought i'd pop in and check how everyone's doing? Are you all well? Have we had anyone with a BFP?

I had a little break as was getting a bit much for me really. I'm all good though. Took be 14 weeks following ERPC before i got my period but they've not been right since. Random long cycles with lots of brown discharge and sometime red spotting in between. I have Florida next week to look forward to and then will maybe approach the doc as time is getting on now.

Love to all xxx

wombatinwaiting · 24/05/2011 07:02

He he - loving the smutty banter between worm and pecka - not sure who is worse Grin!

Lovely to see you again star - we missed you. Glad to hear that you're ok although sorry to hear about weird cycles. I think I remember you were a little reluctant to go to docs so I do hope they are able to give some helpful advice when you do go. In the mean time, have a fab time in Florida - worm was there quite recently and then got a bfp about a month later! We have a few bfps on here, me included! I'm 13+5 today which seems quite unreal!

OP posts:
Wormshuffler · 24/05/2011 07:10

Great to see you again star82 Grin I remember how you were going to have a break until after your Florida holiday, We went in February and had the most amazing time.
I can't remember what stage we were all at when you last read, but here is an update, apologies if I miss anything wombat will be along with her spreadsheet to help..........
wombat is now around 13 weeks pg and has had 2 successful scans.
sparkly is around 10 weeks and had a scan at 8 weeks, all looking fine.
Me Grin am 6+5 no pre 12 weeks scans planned, I am not letting myself think it is real until I get past 8 weeks where it all went tits up last time.

Other older people from the thread nurse manammama and kitkey are also now Upduffed and post 12 weeks.

Have yourself a lovely time in Florida and then decisive action at the GP on your return.

harassedinherpants · 24/05/2011 09:13

Morning!!

What no breakfast?! Goodness the standards in this place are slipping.....

Sorry I haven't been around, we're moving next weekend so it's ever so slightly manic at the moment . I had a day off work yesterday as had THE most banging headache since Saturday. Phoned the mw yesterday as felt awful and paracetamol wasn't touching it and she said it's perfectly normal and due to increased blood flow. So I took her advice and slept most of the morning, and it did help!

marathon hello and welcome!! I've had a bit of an ordeal this year with a mmc in Jan, first af, then a bfp, then mc and then a bfp without an af. Would I recommend it?? Umm no actually. Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted to be preg (9+1 today) but it's been the hardest thing in the world and despite two great scans I'm still constantly knicker checking, freaking out and generally waiting for it all to go wrong. I've even asked to have my 12 wk scan at epu just in case, but they won't do it.

star hello, I'm must be a newbie to you!

Oh god......brain has died and forgotten what you all said Blush.....

MarathonMama · 24/05/2011 12:43

Hi, not sure my innocent ears want to hear the origins of these names...

Harasssed you have amazing luck, both good and bad! What a rollercoaster for you, but bloody hell you're fertile! Were you that fertile prior to the mc? Good luck with this one, it's looking good crosses fingers for you. When you say you wouldn't recommend it, do you mean getting a bfp before af or just getting one relatively soon after an mc?

harassedinherpants · 24/05/2011 12:52

I tell you what Mama....... they're rude these girls!!! Don't be fooled

Yes I have always been fertile! Ds1 is nearly 22 and is the result of food poisoning, ds2 is 20 and conceived first month of trying, dd is nearly 5 (same day as ds1!) and conceived first month of trying at grand old age of 35. My preg for mmc did take 6 months to get a bfp, but I started seeing my kinesiologist and taking B6 P5P supplements she recommended. First month totally changed my af, less crampy and clotty and just nicer, and then the following month a bfp.

I also had a mc 8 yrs ago when I didn't even know I was preg until I mc'd!! Def wasn't trying and wasn't in a good place: post crappy divorce, unsuitable boyfriend, lots of alcohol.

harassedinherpants · 24/05/2011 12:54

Bugger pressed button too quickly!!!!

I would recommend at least having your first af, not for dating or any of that rubbish, but for you....... but then everyone is different, so if you think you're ok with it then go for it Grin.

MarathonMama · 24/05/2011 13:19

Wow harassed, you're a pro! . Could you please vibe some fertility this way...

We decided that we're not going to officially ttc this month but DH HATES rubbers and I can't be arsed with using something else for 1 month. According to the website wombat posted it looks like it's common that people don't ov anyway in the first month anyway.

I'm loving hearing all your stories, nice to know I'm not the only one Smile

manamana · 24/05/2011 14:14

Hi all. Looks like I have missed some good news with scans so yay to everyone who has had recent reassurance. I think we're creeping up to some due dates so hugs to anyone finding it tough.
Hi to MarathonMama, sorry you are here but very nice to meet you. Must say I am not a very frequent poster, but try and check in as much as possible. Can't post at work cos overlooked a lot and too knackered in the evenings to type!
Yes, I did manage to get pg without an af after my ERPC (back in Dec). Very mixed feelings about it and not sure I would recommend it.
Negative side: It meant that my LMP was the date of my ERPC and as the weeks go so slowly to start with it was a constant reminder of how little time had passed. I have also now been pregnant for around 9 months with no baby and another 4 months to go which is quite tiring! It meant that I was pg when I first went back to work after the ERPC which meant that emotionally it was hard work because I didn't realise I was pregnant and that my hormones were all over the place. It has taken until now to feel at all relaxed (baby is now kicking).
Positive: I am pregnant, which I am v v v v grateful for. What they say about you being most fertile straight afterwards does seem to make sense so may as well take advantage.
Hope that helps! And yes, we dtd as soon as I stopped bleeding (it was xmas! and I was making the most of being able to drink!) and the first 2 times it started off the bleeding again which I found very upsetting.
Anyway, all good here. Little'un is fairly active which is VERY reassuring. Irritatingly I had an appt at the hospital clinic yesterday but Dr didn't mention the protein in my urine (its done by a different person and I don't think he read that bit!) so I had to go to my GP this morning to get retested and now have sample sent off for analysis. Good job I read my own notes! Slightly paranoid cos I read the other thread about how nasty UTIs can be when you're pregnant and we are due to go away next week...
Star, nice to see you, hope you have a fab time in Florida and yes, go and see the doctor when you get back.
Waves to everyone else, sorry not to comment on everyone's news, need to get on with some work - am working from home today!

wombatinwaiting · 24/05/2011 17:37

Blimey harassed - didn't know about how quick your other pgs were - you need to change your name to fertilitymonster or something!

Great news on active bub mana - must be super reassuring but a nuisance re: the protein - hope it all sorts itself out soon.

Keep coming with the questions marathon - between us, we're quite a mine of information! It's also really nice to be able to help someone, even if just a bit, after all the help I have received. Oh, and one other thing, after mc2 I went to see a clinical psychologist for 3 sessions which was a huge help - I felt better after every session.

Crikey worm - 7 weeks tomorrow! Hope the thought of next week isn't all-pervading. How's the sickness?

Waves to pecka, yellow, wellie, och, sparkly and all x

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 24/05/2011 18:39

mana lovely to "see" you! How far along are you now?? And does the mentalling get better?? Sorry to hear about uti palava.... why can't they just sort these things out. How are you feeling?

wombat I put the boys speedy (and accidental) conception down to youthfulness! I was 18 when I had ds1 and 20 when I had ds2. At the grand old age of 35 I REALLY didn't expect to fall for dd so quickly, in fact dh and I hadn't actually been together that long but thought we'd better get on with it as I was sooooo ancient Grin.

worm hope you're feeling ok..... I've found the dates quite hard.

My ms seems to be calming a bit! It's not all day!!! Of course that's made me mental today......

manamana · 24/05/2011 20:22

You're right wombat, it does feel nice that we can help with some of the experience we've amassed!
Harassed, am now 23 weeks which seems quite astounding. I remember early on in this pg watching that documentary about babies born at 23 weeks - my theory being that we should be prepared as luck didn't seem to be with us! negative, moi - and now we're here and it's still safely tucked up inside. The mentalling really has subsided but I think its just below the surface for me and dh. I don't think the protein is anything to worry about but I did get myself in a bit of a state thinking that the Dr had missed something that could endanger the baby and Dh has been panicking too so I guess we'll be fragile until it arrives safely. The kicking is v v reassuring, have got to the stage where it will start wriggling in response to things I eat or positions I'm in so I can give it a little nudge to get a reassuring response.
How are you feeling? 9 weeks is tough, lets hope the next few weeks fly by. Completely understand why you asked to have scan at epu, you just feel like if you prepare yourself for the worst it might help when in actual fact the odds are massively in your favour. Its madness this baby making business!
Night all x

harassedinherpants · 24/05/2011 20:34

Goodness 23 weeks, that seems to have flown!!

I'm feeling not too bad today thanks. The nausea seems to have subsided a bit, and is getting me morning and evening. Better than all day though!! I had a scan at 6 weeks as last mc was 5+1, and then again at 8 weeks. Mmc was discovered at 10wks but baby measured 7. The scans have really helped tbh. Can't wait for the next one, just to know everything's ok. Really looking forward to movements!! Hoping I'll feel it quite early as it's number 4. With dd it was around 13-14 wks I think.

Right I'm off to veg on the sofa. I've worked all day, done dinner, hoovered, bathed and bedded dd and packed several boxes...... the sofa is shouting. Would go to bed but I need to put a clean sheet on and I've stupidly packed a heavy box on the bed. Dh will be another hour... I'm SOO daft Grin.

Wormshuffler · 24/05/2011 20:44

Hi Ladies
I only have waves of Nausea, first thing in the morn, and about three hours after any meal. I had to craftily shove some dry crackers down me in a meeting yesterday! No actual sickness though. I am feeling better that I have this, as I didn't with the MC. Was terrible with DS's but I was a lot younger then......... boobs are huge!! and sore today, don't remember that so much with my dc's.
I still have agggeeeeesssss until anything happens for me (fingers crossed)!! booking in is 2 and a half weeks time. I requested it be so late just in case....... 25 days til My Due date :( It feels really stange to think about if the MC hadn't happened and how the bedroom would have been decorated by now and baby stuff bought etc, and I would have finished work........

Wow 23 weeks, I remember the kicking stage well, such a special time. I still like to bore My DS by telling her when a song comes on in that used to make her kick..... Macy Gray I try was the best one! I take it as you are refering to Bump as "it" you chose not to find out the sex? Best way IMO you get that "it's a ........" moment ...lovely after all that hard work!

3 more weeks to go until the magic 12 weeks for you harassed

manamana · 24/05/2011 21:16

Glad the scans are helping, the weeks draaaag so badly at the start, hope you get to bed soon! I am stupidly still messing about on the internet instead of doing the work I should have done today and now I want to go to bed too!
Good to hear about the MS worm, take extra care of yourself - due date feelings are tough.
Love the Macy Gray story but the song is now in my head.... ;-)
We did ask at the scan cos I like to know as much as possible but they couldn't tell us which is actually quite nice so yes we will get the 'its a...' moment which we didn't have for the last 2. Won't be doing much work though, another elective cs for me, had to have undercarriage repairs after the first one so I am never using that route again! Dr yesterday asked me if I wanted any info about VBAC, no sireeeeeeeeee. It also means I know I only have 15 weeks to go :-) all going well....

Wormshuffler · 24/05/2011 21:41

I would be a CS gal too, I have "a queer shaped pelvis" which caused both DC'c to be in th OP position and floating around up there even when fully dilated for hours!! not good fun trying to get out My arse instead of My fanjo!!! if they try to sell me a vbac I shall tell them where to go!! With DS they said, you may as well try..........we will only let you go for 6 hours then go for cs if slow progression.........15 hours later..........

manamana · 24/05/2011 22:48

Genius, 'queer shaped pelvis', there is no end to the indignities heaped upon us! I love the idea of 'trying'... why, oh, why oh why.... with our understaffed maternity units you can't even get an epidural if you want one let alone a cs unless you and babe are absolutely critical and I always prefer to avoid critical scenarios in hospital ;-)

Star82 · 24/05/2011 23:14

Ah, that's all such fantastic news you guys!! I'm so pleased for all of you. We struggled to wait till after the holiday so have been not preventing the first 2 cycles and then this one, i've tried to pay attention more and get lots of rumpy pumpy in.......no wormshuffling just yet though Wink.

Fingers crossed for Florida and here's hoping this ash cloud politely does one as we are screwed if we have to cancel. DH only gets June off so even if the dates were transferred we'd have to wait till next year. OMG i'd die.....been so looking forward to this one so fingers and toes crossed.

We're just trying to find a house up in S Yorks at the mo. Moved up from Notts in August and have been renting one here and kept on the mortgaged house. DH's work payed for the rent the first year in effect due to relocation money but come August we'll be paying out double if we don't sell/rent out our house. Sods law that we're not seeing a single house come up that is right for us. DH is contracted and has signed an extra year on to what he had so at least we know we're settled up here until at least 2013 now.....we just need a house!!! :)

Star82 · 24/05/2011 23:17
