Hey worm I am very impressed. Good work! I always vote at every opportunity anyway but sounds like you did good work getting people motivated. I can't remember was it you who wanted tipsy posting cos if it was here it is. But I deserve it after such a stressful week!

I'm sorry, I can't remember what everyone else said (see above) but big hugs to everyone anyway

X

Wormshuffler · 07/05/2011 13:46

sparkly?..........

wombatinwaiting · 07/05/2011 14:50

Afternoon all - Only a quick one from me I'm sorry to say - feeling very green and very tired. Don't know why symptoms seem to have kicked in today....

Waves feebly to all.....

harassedinherpants · 07/05/2011 15:53

Just popped in to see if a certain person was back from her scan...........

wombat snap..... trying to ignore and cook and clean as have friends over for dinner later.

Sparklywine · 07/05/2011 17:47

Aw, you guys I haven't been waiting til someone mentions me, honest!
All is well! Sparklymilkykid measures 8+3 which is bob on, and there is a yolk sac (looks like the sun on the scan photie, most evocative). They couldn't measure the heartbeat, this must be a middle eastern advance Wombat but there is one which is the main thing. I just lay there saying "brilliant!" like a teenager, with dh gripping my hand tightly. Bubs even moved in protest, obviously I missed it (though shall pretend I didn't as time goes on as it makes the story better, and when milky wins olympic gold I can say I knew he would, he was a speedy sod at 8 weeks gestation)
Was in pain for the rest of the afternoon, bit worrying but I think the scan equipment had just shifted stuff around and gave me trapped wind or something, feel better after a lie down and a Brew
Feels a bit weird now, it's real!
Harassed, is it dh's birthday? Have a lovely evening, good luck with the cleaning! I managed to bleach the cat litter tray but am now sapped of energy, and feel really queasy. Wombat, symptoms are good, babywombat must be growing and burrowing like a good 'un now, out to impress for the forthcoming scan!
Hi to everyone else, sorry to have taken over the thread with baby talk, a bit one-sided.

Worm, you need to see two magpies, one is bad luck but there is always a partner lurking nearby (one for sorrow, two for joy).

yellowtomato · 07/05/2011 18:39

Hurrah that is fab news sparkly I've been holding my breath.

I'll have a drink later to celebrate!

Wormshuffler · 07/05/2011 18:42

Hope the rest of you ladies are well?? Worm??? Any update??

Wormshuffler · 08/05/2011 06:22

BFP Shock BFP Grin .....................I just can't believe it!! Last night My norks were hurting (well one was) so I thought, oh well I will just do a quicky, and there was a faint line. So I poured away the Wine I had been on, and thought.........maybe I am, this mornings was a definate BFP!!! I am in shock!!
And we have had rain!!! what a day!!! Grin
Hope you are feeling a bit better wombat, I am hoping to be feeling like that very soon!!

harassedinherpants · 08/05/2011 07:07

Yes, yes, yes! Fab news worm, so very pleased for you!

Brilliant scan sparkly! Sounds fabulous, and impressed you didn't cry. I bawled!

It wasn't dh's birthday, just some friends we do this quite often with. Nothing posh thank god.

I am sooo hot! All the time, quite uncomfortable at times.

Sparklywine · 08/05/2011 08:52

Yay, congratulations Worm, brilliant news! Grin
What a lucky thread! DH's birthday, and rain for the privets, what a weekend! Grin
Ah, so happy for you. Poached eggs sound delicious, don't feel too queasy in the mornings so can easily go a couple. Got any ketchup?
Tra la la, am v cheery now! Hoping to tell sis and parents this afternoon at a family meal, sis will be excited, parents gobsmacked and will probably react weirdly, as this will no doubt inconvenience their retirement plans! Grin I shall be strong, feel very much a solid little unit with dh and milky.
Oooh, am sober but just love you all, all the effort and hope and bravery!

wombatinwaiting · 08/05/2011 12:11

Oh.... my..... goodness! What a brilliant lot of news to read!! Grin Grin Grin.

I am over the moon for the fab scanning of sparklymilkykidalsoknownasdaleythompson - brilliant that the dates are bob on and a heartbeat too - yay! Must be something about this thread as I was exactly 8+3 when I was last scanned and also bob on with my dates! Grin. How was telling your parents and sis?

And what about our wormbean!! What fantastic news worm - Grin - how are you feeling other than sore norkage? What did DH have to say? I'm so thrilled for you! Grin

Feeling a thousand times better today - even threw up yesterday for the first time. Felt like the worst hangover before that....

Good to hear from you pecka - you're sure of your ov dates are you? Do you poas for that? Not unusual to have an ov day of CD18 or 19.... no doubt you and mrpecka are still hard at it anyway!

And big wave to ochaye - I was wondering how you were doing. Great that the bleeding has finished and hopefully your WTF cycle will be out of the way with soon.

Hope you're doing well harassed and still on a high from your scan and not too pukey.

And how is our yellow friend? About to get into SWI phase if my spreadsheet serves me well....

I've planted out my tomatoes today and done so cleaning/tidying/throwing away and washing and generally getting things in order so i'll be all ready for the week ahead. And yes I am growing some yellow tomatoes. Has anyone seen that thread in chat where people explain where their MN names came from. It's quite interesting and I thought it would be fun if worm went over there and explained everything!! Grin

Wormshuffler · 08/05/2011 16:25

Ha no thanks yellow My name explaination can be just for our privelidged few!! football........tell Me about it! I hope the result doesn't affect Mr yellowtomato's mood negatively!
Thanks for your reaction girls, DH is pleased but very cautious, I had a good clean up around the house today and He said God it's a bit early for nesting isn't it!!
My tomato's have also gone out today, I have given away loads to all the neighbours too, as my seeds were far more successful than I imagined they would be!!

pecka33 · 08/05/2011 19:23

Tried the ov sticks again this month wombat as my cycles gone from 28 days to 32 and now on 30 so was very confused: ov;d aound 15/16 i think!!?? Had two lines on the ov sticks; but me an dh have been at it still my af left the builingz, am now on my 2 week wait with extra sensitive boobies; so aint letting him nowhere near till after af arrives now.

yellowtomato · 08/05/2011 20:13

Yeh pecka just you me and wellie, it us a bit depressing but that doesn't mean I'm nit happy for you pg ladies, just wish I could join in! My erpc was in nov, seems so long ago.

Dp didn't get the football scores he wanted but still managed to perform his duty. How romantic!

pecka33 · 08/05/2011 20:21

i know what you meant yellowz, my mmc was back in sept so this is now my zbth cycle; its now getting me down: seeing positive stories are fab and gives me hope! Just want it to be me....
So yellow, where are you at!!??
My dh is also in a good mood; our 2 local teams played today so its in a good mood, for a change, he he. Xx

yellowtomato · 08/05/2011 21:17

I am on cd10 so started swi today so you are a bit ahead of me. Let's hope this lucky thread is lucky for us too!

wellieboots · 09/05/2011 12:51

Oh wow, spot all the happy news on this thread! Grin

YAY for worm BFP :) :) :), I was hoping one of us would get lucky this month!

And fantastic news for harassed and sparkly scans! It must be such a relief, so happy for you :)

As expected I am out this month but not surprised, as I think I mentioned a couple of weeks ago - the news I'm trying to be happy about is that it finally looks like my cycle is back to where it was pre mc, which is a relief - 33-36 day cycles were driving me bananas and wasting far too many POAS!!! 29 days this month so my body is back to doing what it used to - they do say it can take a few months to get back to normal so it's a relief.

Hope you're not feeling too pukey wombat and best of luck with the SWI pecka and yellow

waves!

Wormshuffler · 09/05/2011 17:09

Hi Girls
Well I have had a bfp for approximately 30 hours and already I am a wreck, and need to get off google and mumsnet until I feel sick/ get to 12 weeks. So far today I have spent half an hour in holland and barrett looking at potions, and the rest of the day reading about preventing MC. I am getting in a tizz because my periods are always so light and I'm paranoid about thin lining being the cause of My last MC. Would the doctor think I was being neurotic if I went to ask about it?
I think I will start on decorating the hall to keep myself busy!! I seriously need to get a grip!!
Sorry it is all Me Me Me, especially when there are those among Us who are not PG yet........

pecka33 · 09/05/2011 17:36

ahhh worm, bless you... i know its hard but try not to worry, worrying is just going to make you ill, and you need to be a healthy worm....
its probably all just got to you over the weekend... built up emotions!!!
have you had any symptoms? why dont you see if you can see the mid-wife early? maybe that could put your mind at ease??

the way i look at my mc is nothing i could of done could of prevented it? and nothing i did caused it? it was meant to be....

and dont you worry about us none preggers girlies, im sure we wont be far behind you with our bfp's, and probably stressing about the same things as you are today...

enjoy your decorating, keep that mind busy!! xx

harassedinherpants · 09/05/2011 17:49

Worm it's perfectly natural to worry. I haven't found a way to get round it, I just don't get my hopes up tbh. I thought the worst before my scan, honestly I was totally convinced it was all over. Again. The weeks are ticking by veeeery slowly at the moment. Keeping busy is good I've found.

Pecka keep breathing in the preg hormones we're giving off!!!!!

I've just eaten a big spoonful of pickle straight from the jar. I HAD to you see Blush

yellowtomato · 09/05/2011 23:10

Hey worm sounds you need to step away from google for a bit. Pecka speaks wise words. I can empathise with you totally, if I ever get another bfp I am going to need a lot of hand holding.

How are you today wombat?

A spoonful of pickle harassed I guess whatever you fancy at the moment is fine!
