Oh no harassed big hug for you. What are your dates, how do you feel. I've heard symptoms can come and go. Fingers and toes crossed for you.

wombatinwaiting · 04/05/2011 16:13

Just a quick one to give harassed a hug - can understand your anxiety as your last m/c must still be so fresh. As everyone has said here and in freak-out room, symptoms do come and go. Good to hear you have a scan booked - will be thinking of you and coming on here regularly tomorrow to see how you got on. Back in the office tomorrow after 2 days on construction sites so looking forward to catching up with mumsnet work.

Waves to all x

Hi Ladies
Harassed fingers crossed your symptoms have re-appeared and everything goes well at the scan, I will be thinking of you.........try to rest a bit if you can xxxxx

yellow has work caled down a bit for you? did you resist the wine....... I'm sure a wee one just for relaxing is fine.............

3 days til your scan sparkly (not stalking you it is the same day as DH birthday) fingers, toes, pubes all crossed for both you and harassed

harassedinherpants · 04/05/2011 17:12

Aww thank you! I feel really neurotic, but veer between feeling like an idiot and feeling justified. Symptoms haven't all gone, smelly kitten has just made me throw up, then I had to make dd's tea and now dh wants to talk about ours Envy.

I spoke to the ward sister at the epu and she was really lovely, she and my mw have been really reassuring, but it's hard not to think the worst.

I'd kill for some Wine.......

pecka33 · 04/05/2011 21:48

Hi ladies just popping in to say hi, sparkly good luck with your scan and harrassed glad all your symptoms haven't all disappered! Try and think positive. Waves to all xx

yellowtomato · 04/05/2011 22:18

Hey harassed glad you still have some symptoms, I've still got my fingers crossed for you.

worm work is still manic, I keep waiting for things to calm down but no sign yet!

Off to bed now

manamana · 04/05/2011 22:25

Hi, just came on to have a quick catch-up on everyone's news and wanted to send you a big hug harassed. Mysymptoms came and went and I ended up writing a daily diary of bleeding, symptoms etc to try to get it all out of my head. Am now 20 weeks which seems very surreal. Think you are right to go to epu, you must be going mad with worry with the cramps. Will keep my fingers crossed for you x

wombatinwaiting · 05/05/2011 05:44

Morning all - Someone else is going to have to do brekkie this morning - I am overwhelmed with tiredness this morning - arrived at work 30 mins late (not that anyone cares) and am almost slumped over my keyboard.... would kill for a strong coffee right now.

Good luck for today harassed - thinking of you.

Lovely to hear from you mana and so glad things are progressing well - 20 weeks - wow! It's got me wondering how nurse is doing too....

Nice to hear from you too pecka - are you on the 2ww now?

Meant to ask yellow about your cycle length this month - are you seemingly back to normal after odd couple of cycles a couple of months ago? Hope so.

Remind me how many weeks/days you are sparkly? Brain seems to have turned to mush with tiredness....

Can't quite believe I am 11 weeks today - still hanging out for scan next Thursday and really hope I can relax a bit after that and perhaps even enjoy this pg Hmm.....

And what are you up to these days worm? Any more topiary ideas? Or perhaps is it the cook and gardener's week off this week and so no doubt you're very busy....?! Grin

Waves to all and goes back to snoozing.....

OP posts:
yellowtomato · 05/05/2011 07:07

Ok here's breakfast, fresh croissant, pain au raisan and pain au chocolat, freshly squeezed oj and grapefruit juice and a selection of fresh fruit. Get stuck in!

Thinking of you today harassed

wombat yes cycle length was normal, I am on cd 7 for your spreadsheet Grin

Must dash as need to vote then go to acu then work!

wombatinwaiting · 05/05/2011 10:21

That's good to hear yellow - thanks for brekkie and info - duly noted Grin

Lurking for news from harassed even though scan was prob only 20 mins ago....

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 05/05/2011 11:21

I'm back! All was excellent!!! Grin Grin. Babypants measures 6+1 which is spot on according to my dates, and had a tiny heart beating away. Plus I have pics!!! I cried, and dh almost did bless him. I just can not tell you how relieved we feel now. Grin.

Going to read and post again in a min.

wombatinwaiting · 05/05/2011 11:40

Whoop whoop - go babypants - I'm sooooo thrilled for you harassed - what a massive relief xx Grin Grin

OP posts:
Sparklywine · 05/05/2011 11:48

Hurrah for babypants! What do the pics look like that early on Harassed?
What a relief. 6+1, amazing that there is an actual being in there so early on, paddling away with little wombat limbs. I would cry too, not wearing mascara on Saturday.
Someone get a brew on!

Sparklywine · 05/05/2011 11:52

8+2 for me today Wombat, fer the old spreadsheet Grin
I am not drinking enough water , it is such a very boring substance. Anyone got any tips?
Hope you have perked up a bit, the tiredness is awful isn't it? I had a nanna-nap as soon as I got in from work yesterday and was still in my tucker-bed by 9pm. My boss (who is in the know) said I looked glowing yesterday , didn't like to point out that for the first time in months I am just not eternally slightly hungover! Grin

wombatinwaiting · 05/05/2011 12:25

Oooh sparkly - you should get a good pic on Sat then as you'll be 8+4. Are you nervous about it all? You seem very zen Envy.... chuckled re: the reason for your glow Grin

I don't mind water by itself - what are your thoughts on adding fresh lime or lemon juice? Or perhaps soda water with squash? I'm a big fan of orange and pineapple soda. Obviously not free out of the tap but no nasties in soda water and a bit cheaper than sparkling mineral water methinks. How about some of that flavoured 02 water stuff? Herbal teas? (considered the same as water). There's an amazing vegetarian restaurant here that "brews" its own water - infuses it for a minimum of 4 hours (just cold water) with a combo of thyme, rosemary, lemongrass and mint (any maybe some other stuff?) - it was the most delicious non-alcoholic thing I have ever drunk. Never tried making it but might brew up a jug to keep in the fridge....

OP posts:
Sparklywine · 05/05/2011 12:47

Zen-ish Wombat, I had a nightmare last night that I was swimming and someone kicked me in the stomach and I started miscarrying in the pool, blood everywhere, then they cordoned off the shower area so I could hunch in there and continue to bleed. So perhaps my fears are just coming out in sleep, it was hideous! Woke up very stressed out, but do think what will be will be (though will not be taking a trip to the baths this weekend!). I am really nervous about Saturday but can't determine the outcome bar following reasonable steps, and am trying to stay tranquil for the sake of mine and sparklyjunior's health. Don't want a hyperactive milky bar kid! Grin
Thanks for the water-tips, especially the lemon/lime thing, may have a jug on the go for the fridge. I'm not bad with herbal teas either. Thyme and rosemary both have me gagging at the moment, along with basil. Herbs are banned in the sparkly household at present, all foodstuff must taste of cheese and nothing else! Grin

wombatinwaiting · 05/05/2011 12:57

Oh - what a horrible dream sparkly - believe it or not, in some ways it is good for you - dreams are a way of our subconscious sorting through the thoughts we need and discarding (through dreams) those we don't (or that's what I've read anyway).

Oooh - don't start me on cheese.... stupidly bought some brie for DH the other day and it gets me drooling every time I open the fridge - fortunately he has nearly finished it!

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 05/05/2011 14:31

What an awful dream Sparkly, I also had a mc'ing dream the other night and woke up crying. It's horrible.

Babypants looks a kidney bean, but with a heartbeat Grin. She (I'm sure it's a she but dh thinks a he) measures 4.7mm! Sonographer also showed me that it was my right ovary (go right!) that popped the egg, and something that's called a corpus luteum which is on my ovary and is producing heaps of hormones. Amazing that something soooo tiny can make me feel sooooo sick! The sonographer was the one that scanned both my mc's, so it was lovely to have some good news from her!

I'm not keen on water either, but am right off tea Envy. Same with every prg. I'm drinking lemonade, as find when it's a little flat it helps with the nausea. Avoiding coke, but like soda and lime if we're out, and it's also a good drink to disguise not drinking as you can say it's a gin and tonic or something. How about some of the nice high juice squashes?? I'm loving Tesco's apple one. But my fave at the moment is apple juice and lemonade, weird I know!

Wombat that infused water sounds delicious!

Wormshuffler · 05/05/2011 16:52

Phew harassed very pleased it was all looking great! and to get that much detail, She must have been a very good sonographer. Isn't it incredible that they can find something that small with so much detail?!

Getting very jealous of all the sickness and scan stories..... I wanna be In your gang!!

Thanks for the brekkie yellow can we expect some drunk updates this weekend? Wink

20 weeks hey mana!! that seems to have flown by, although I bet you feel differently!

No AF here yet on day 28, but last 2 cycles were unusually 31 ish days, so I won't get hopefull until/if it gets to then....... Not holding out any hope though to be honest, I havn't got the slightest bits of symptoms, and saw a single magpie both today and yesterday!! and We all know how reliable they are at predicting BFP's hey sparkly?
That dream does sound nasty!

harassedinherpants · 05/05/2011 17:46

Worm I really don't think magpie's count at the moment. I've seen a tonne of single ones lately, I reckon they're nesting and are therefore unreliable Grin

manamana · 05/05/2011 21:03

Yay harassed, fantastic news! Actually worm, it does seem to have gone by v quickly since the 13 week scan, although the next 4 months may drag a bit now. Keeping fingers crossed for more bps x

ochaye · 05/05/2011 21:38

I am soooooo sorry for being so bad at keeping up ... no excuses other than life getting in the way. I really need to get to bed soon so am just checking in and wanted to say a MASSIVE YAAAAY for you harassed. You must be so relieved!!!!

Hope all you pukey princesses are doing ok ... and fingers crossed to all pending testers. Nothing to report here, just waiting for this WTF cycle to be over. Day 27 and FF has decided I haven't ovulated yet. Thankfully the bleeding is all over though!

pecka33 · 05/05/2011 22:18

Popping in after a busy week at work as usual to say a big congrats to harrassed fab news!!! Made my day....
As for me day 15?? I think and got my first lh surge yesterday so swi continues... So all still tbc here I'm affraid ladies!
After watching that programme on bbc 1 2nyt I'm suprised any of us manage to get preggers in the first place!!! Wow....
?A?mazing!!
Waves to all, and manna wow!! 20 weeks, god that's gone quick!!! Xx

harassedinherpants · 06/05/2011 09:05

Thank you so much everyone!! Sorry I just can not do the breakfast Envy Envy.

Any ideas how I can throw my savvy dd off the scent?? I've told I've got bugs in my tummy, but she says I shouldn't go to work then........

I watched that program Pecka was fascinating and amazing!

Och glad the bleeding has stopped, I'm sure your cycle will get there soon now.

Mana I think you're at the best part now imo! Looking proper prg, but not beached whale sized yet Grin.

Yellow how was acu??

Wormshuffler · 06/05/2011 21:07

Hi Girls............Quiet around here......
Good that your symptoms are back harassed hope you can relax a bit now!

So exciting village news!! the district councillor was within 27 votes of being ousted!! I feel so proud!! alright They are still in but now definately with ruffled feathers Love it!! 250 extra people voted compared to last time! Power to the people!!
Still no AF here so I am either PG ...... yeah right.... or need amending on "the spreadsheet to a 31 dayer"
Where is our resident spreadsheet queen anyway?
