wellieboots · 22/04/2011 13:04

Sorry for not being around ladies - first week of new temp job has been good but very busy and tiring - I'd forgotten what it was like, at least it was a 4 day week [bugrin]

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the Easter sunshine which I hear you're having [busmile]

sympathies to those with bugs, rashes, AF etc

Waves madly and promises to come back soon xxx

Wormshuffler · 22/04/2011 19:24

Good to see you again wellie and emma the sunshile is indeed lovely! It was beating own on my back whilst I planted 40 privet plants today (only another 140 to go....)

sparkly have you got sore big boobs yet? they are great, they make my DH Grin did you tell sis in the end? I think you should have and maybe Mum too? Hope your house no longer stinks of shit or cat food- which also smells of shit !!
yellow you deserve a hangover! so drunk you couldn't even type!!!!!! tut tut!!

ochaye · 22/04/2011 22:00

I really, really, really love the bunny emoticans. How cool are they!!!?

Spent the afternoon in the garden playing on the trampoline (although my pelvic floor really doesn't love that) and painting eggs. Annoyingly half of them cracked during cooking ... so I had them for tea Smile.

Sorry for the swift post but my bed is calling ... can barely stay awake. Bleeding has stopped so am hoping for some SWI imminently.

everyone x

Wormshuffler · 23/04/2011 18:36

It's like the Marie Celeste on here today................ hope you are all well, I think I am on the 2ww now, but had some ovary tingles today so will be seducing Mr Worm tonight just in case........
ochaye I know what you mean re the trampolining, I joined an adult class, as I used to be great at it as a kid, and wet myself!! Tenna lady came along on the subsiquent classes until it stopped when one of us broke our arm before the teacher got there......
I hope wombat is having a great girly weekend, and the rest of you are all well ..............

ochaye · 23/04/2011 19:00

Crikey worm your trampoline class sounds a bit dramatic! Glad it's not only me who has that problem!

Your tingling is very exciting Grin ... I'm still not sure about SWI'ing but it's DH's birthday tomorrow so tonight is probably a good time to get back to it.

yellowtomato · 23/04/2011 23:30

Hello ladies

I am loving being out in this lovely weather rather than looking at it out of a window. Had a long lunch today in a pub and then a nap, very relaxing.

I guess a am technically on the 2ww but not holding out much hope, just want to get on with the next month where we will both be in the same country at the crucial moment!

Having a BBQ tomorrow with lots of pimms

worm did you decide what you are going to do for the royal wedding? I am going to Manchester!

Right, I'm off to bed, goodnight

wombatinwaiting · 24/04/2011 05:46

A'salaam a lakum my friends, or good morning to you all! Hope the Easter weekend in Blighty is still proving to be a lovely one and the Easter bunny has been VERY good to you all! The one here left some Lindt mini eggs in my underwear drawer this morning! [bugrin]

Had a really good time in Lebanon - we spent the day wandering Beirut on Friday - they have done some amazing restoration work since the war although you do see the odd bullet / mortar-shell scarred building every now and again and there were loads of armed police / army around as a sharp reminder that there is still quite a bit of unrest. It's a really buzzing place and if we'd managed to stay awake past 12.30, the nightlife is awesome. Fortunately the ladies I weren't up for a big clubbing night - I was falling asleep in the last bar we went to! We were surprised by how expensive it was although had some good food. Spent the day at Byblos yesterday being very cultural - it's the oldest inhabited city in the world and quite fascinating. Would highly recommend it for a city break. Got home around 2am this morning and then DH up at 6am so consequently knacker-roo-rooed......

Loving the drunken posting yellow - did you have to do it with one eye closed?! I always found that worked best when drunktexting! Hope you enjoy your bbq today - would love a glass of Pimms!

ochaye and worm - loving the trampoline stories - reminds me I must do my pelvic floor exercises more often. Do you find your nostrils flare when you are doing them? [buconfused]

Sounds like you are having a nice time emma - enjoy the meze!

Did you tell your sis sparkly? and how did the sleepover go with the niece? And have you told us re: tomatogate already? (and more importantly, does yellow know and how involved was she....?!)

Glad that the job is keeping you busy wellie and presumably the extra dosh will be quite useful too.

Right - must go and buy some matchsticks to keep my eyes open..... Happy Easter all!

OP posts:
ochaye · 24/04/2011 10:54

My nostrils don't flare ... maybe I'm doing it wrong!!?

Your trip sounds amazing wombat. Absolutely the kind of trip that very few of us get to experience.

I need to go and picnic with the Easter Bunny Grin ... am a bit Shock as FF thinks I ovulated already! Must be wrong ...

wombatinwaiting · 24/04/2011 12:07

That does seem a bit [bushok] and [buconfused] ochaye. Meant to say that I was glad to read the bleeding has stopped.

Re: the pelvic floor things - I am really struggling to do it for longer than 1 second and certainly can't do it breathing in, only breathing out. Does anyone out there have any top tips?! Perhaps it's only me with the nostril flaring.... [bublush]

OP posts:
Wormshuffler · 25/04/2011 06:54

Morning Ladies
I hope I find you all well on this glorious Monday morning.
My nostrils don't flare either ochaye!! it's just like you are imagining you are pulling your "mangina" upwards wombat .
Well My privit hedge is done, I have loads of plants left and I had to laugh yesterday when DH asked " if we put some in pots would we be able to have a go at those shape things"? I thought wait til i tell sparkly that !!!
So much for my Zola Budd ambition I havn't been out for over a week now, and am wimping out of going today as my hay fever is so bad it has bunged up my chest, maybe tomorrow....................

yellowtomato · 25/04/2011 09:50

Morning all

We really are being spoilt with this weather! BBQ was great yesterday, we got through a lot of wine and pimms! Need a bit of a detox now.

Off to get some new plants in a bit a gardening day.

wombat glad you had a great weekend and got back into the country ok. It doesn't sound like you are doing the pelvic floor right, I think it is like trying to stop mid wee.

worm well done for all the planting, have you decided on any shapes?

Waves to everyone

harassedinherpants · 25/04/2011 10:54

Hello my lovelies,

I'm here, just been trying to forget I'm prg tbh! Have lots of symptoms so it's really, really hard....... Anyway am seeing kinesiologist in morning and doc in the evening. Thursday will be 5+1 which is when I had last mc, it's all very scary.

It's dh's birthday today, a mere pup at 36 [buwink] although he's just gone for a run the loon. I should be in the garden tidying it up for the invasion of family later.

You're all sounding very garden-ified!! I hate gardening, except the kind that involves putting prettying plants in pots.

Have lovely days!

wombatinwaiting · 25/04/2011 11:00

It is indeed amazing weather you're having ladies - you lucky things. It's this time of year that makes me v homesick, even the thought of gardening sounds appealing! So glad you are all managing to make the most of it.

Thanks for the tips on the pelvic floor exercises - I think I'm doing it right by your descriptions and the nostril flaring is just down to concentrating quite hard!

HAd a bit of a scare last night and still feeling a bit anxious today - had a tiny bit of pink discharge and then a few little cramps today.... I am working from home and taking it easy but still feeling quite worried..... have left a message for the midwife to call me and hoping it's just a reminder to not get too complacent.....

Waves to all and enjoy the bank hol! x

OP posts:
wombatinwaiting · 25/04/2011 11:01

I was wondering how you were doing harassed - good to hear from you. Let us know how you get on tomorrow. Good that you have symptoms xx

OP posts:
yellowtomato · 25/04/2011 15:25

wombat sorry to hear about the wobble, sounds like you are doing all the right things, let's just hope it is the bean snuggling down and do stretching pain.

Sticky vibes to you too harassed hope Kinney lady works her magic.

Hugs to you both

My gardening is done and it was essentially pretty flowers in pots! Need a lay down now, a short nap anyway, it is a bank holiday!

ochaye · 25/04/2011 20:49

Oh no wombat - hope you're ok lovely [busad] (finally worked out those bunny ears! ... better late ...).

Bleeding again today ... WTF ...

wellieboots · 26/04/2011 05:15

hi everybody, hope you had a lovely Easter weekend! [busmile]

Sorry to hear about the goo wombat, hope you are doing ok and taking it easy [busad] hugs to you

harassed congrats on the bfp, hope everything goes well with doc and kinesiologist

Sorry to hear bleeding again ochaye, mine stopped and started quite a bit and it was a total PITA so I sympathise, hope it's over for you soon

Waves to sparkly pecka worm emma and anyone else I've forgotten!

wombatinwaiting · 26/04/2011 05:38

Thanks all for your kind thoughts - means a lot - I haven't had any more since Sun night and the niggly mini cramps have definitely lessened so I'm hoping it was just a little nudge for me to take it easy - it was a very full-on weekend. I think wombatbean was reminding us not to get complacent.... The midwife concurred with my theory of not doing anything unless it happened again. I did call one of the hospitals here to see if I could get a reassurance scan but they said they wouldn't without a referral from the doc, but I could go in if it was considered an emergency Hmm.....

Sorry to hear re: the bleeding ochaye - what a PITA - how long has it been now? 2 weeks? From memory, I was on and off for about 2.5 weeks....

How did you go with the doc and kinny harassed - hope you're holding up ok there.

Well done on the gardening yellow - I guess it's back to normality with work this week, mind you, only a 3 day week for you lot, you lucky things! How's the rash?

Now where's pecka these days? Hope you're doing ok lovely.

Chuckled when I saw this [[http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/1200716-Village-dwellers-are-they-all-like-this?pg=3 mumsnet discussion] worm and thought of you and your village life....! Let me know if you concur with the thoughts on there. How's your hedge trimming coming along?!

And what about sparklybean? Behaving him/herself sparkly? Hope so.

And what news from abroad emma? I guess you're on the 2WW along with a couple of others....

How's life downunder wellie - hope your and DH's jobs both going well. Do you think it was the right decision and are you expecting to get inundated with friends and rellies visiting soon?!

OP posts:
wombatinwaiting · 26/04/2011 05:39

Bugger worm - try this link to village chat

OP posts:
Wormshuffler · 26/04/2011 07:21

Morning Ladies
wonbat thanks goodness for no more pink stuff, that must have been scary, and well done for not panicing, you have 7 more months of this worry, and then at least 18 years more when bean gets here :)
Thanks very much for the link I will read it all later when I have some time , but I am definately in the in-comer camp! Our village isn't nosey enough!

ochaye grr re the bleeding again, must be the last bit surely........

Well it appears our summer is coming to an end, just in time for it to piss it down on us when we go to London on friday, typical ey, ah well it was nice to have bbq 3 weekends in a row!

Waves to everyone else, hope everything is still going well with your beans sparkly, nurse, manna, and harassed

Sparklywine · 26/04/2011 08:49

Morning all, back to work today so here I am beavering away! Grin
Wombat, I too had a little bit of brown discharge when I went to the loo on Saturday, had a probe (TMI!) and it was also pinky so had a bit of a cry and then popped onto MN. Helpful in a way I suppose, though for every 'Bean was fine' there was a 'Bean didn't make it' Sad story. I think like you it was my body's way of telling me to take it easy, I'd babysat for sparklyniece1 on Friday and been flinging her about, and was exhausted. I had some slight cramping too but after a good long night's sleep it has settled down. I think we are not to worry unless it is painful and there is quite a lot of blood. Worrying though isn't it, big hugs x
Worm, I wouldn't expect anything less than a bit of topiary on the drive through the grounds to be honest. Perhaps two giant falluses flanking the gateway....Grin
Hi to everyone else, I've laid out some croissants and some freshly squeezed orange juice if you'd like to help yourselves.

wombatinwaiting · 26/04/2011 09:46

Hey there sparkly - glad to hear that yours has settled down too - my goodness, it's a worry though - thanks for the reassurance of the next 7 months and 18 years worm! Grin

I take it you had a good time with the family sparkly? Did you end up telling dsis in the end? Thanks for sorting brekkie - sounds yum. I'm just having a Chinese meal delivered to my desk by the office assistant as he's getting married - odd tradition here!

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 26/04/2011 11:56

Hello!

Oh it's joyful to be back in the office.....not! Spoilt after 6 days off and all that fabulous weather, dd didn't want to go back to school either. Apparently it's "boring", and she's not 5 until July Hmm.

Wombat and Sparkly - pleased that all gunk has now stopped, but it really sounds like you two should be taking it a little easier!

18 years of worry??? Ds1 will be 22 in July (same day as dd freakily enough!) and I still worry about him......and he's my sensible one.

Worm can you believe the forecast?! Got my fingers firmly x'd that the rain holds off.

Yellow my kind of gardening!!

Och how is the bleeding? Did you have a follow up scan?

Been to the kinesiologist and had my B6 p5p upped, I might just swigging the stuff. But on a good note I don't have to go back until next Tuesday, although I feel a little uneasy planning that far in advance. Docs is 6.30pm when I will beg for pregesterone and a scan Grin!

wombatinwaiting · 26/04/2011 13:21

But only 3 days of work harassed! Good news re: the kinny (sorry - too hard and long to spell in full Smile ) and good luck at the docs tonight. If they're funny about the prog, I believe you can get them through a private appointment, if that's an option for you.....
