Hope DD had a lovely time worm and she's doing ok (and you for that matter!) It reminds me of a time when my parents went to a talk delivered by the headmistress of my (all girls) school about what to expect of their daughters and how to handle menstruation etc.... one brave parent put up their hand and asked "what should we do if our daughter gets pregnant?" - she was duly given the evil death stare by the headmistress who said "girls at xx school don't get pregnant" Shock - not sure what old fashioned planet she was on! That was 26 years ago of course - blaaaardy hell that makes me feel ancient!

Sorry to hear that you're still bleeding ochaye - did you have the same length of bleeding with prev m/c? If it helps, I bled for about 10 days post mc1 (natural) at around 7 weeks and then on and off for about 2.5 weeks (post ERPC) at around 10 weeks. How interesting re: the temperature taker - love the vision of the alarm going off worm Grin

Poor yellow with your rash - do you think it's prob not the herbs then? Hope doc was helpful. Do you think it got worse with the sun exposure at the weekend?

Harassed - how are you doing today? Hope you've managed to see the doc and you're not mentalling too much....

And how are you feeling sparkly? Any mad cravings? How are your symptoms?

I have the 12 week nuchal scan and bloods booked for 12th May and we get all the results after a couple of hours so fingers really tightly crossed for that. It's a thursday so it would be lovely to be able to share with friends over the weekend (desperately trying to stay positive and to keep the jinx pixies out the way too....)

Waves to wellie and pecka - hope you're both ok x

Just had a call from the midwife with results of bloods and other than the antibodies thing (I am A negative) they've all come back fine and it turns out I am immune to toxoplasmosis (don't know how) but obviously still need to exercise caution around the cat. How are batfink and other settling in sparkly?

Helloo!

Sorry I've not been on, yesterday was my last day in work until next Tuesday and was spent rushing round like a mad thing. Unfortunately last night was spent finishing off a quote until 10pm Hmm. Unimpressed tbh.

Pecka sorry af got you lovely. I'd def get yourself to a doc and ask for demand some tests. The supplements prescribed by my kinesiologist are B6 P5P which I take 20 drops when ttc but more when preg, and multi-vit. I take two of these a day.

Yellow so sorry to hear about your rash sounds nasty! Hope the cream works quickly.

Emma hope you're having a lovely holiday, shame about the tonsillitis though.

Worm I still remember my first af too. Mum was crap, but going to an all girls day and boarding convent school I was well prepared!!

Wombat good news on the tests! How are you feeling??

Sparkly how are you?? I'm now cleaning cat poo with rubber gloves on again, flaming nuisance. Going to ask to be tested for toxo-wotsit.

Saw my kinesiologist on Monday, and there is indeed a baby in there! B6 upped and she tested to see if aspirin would help and came back as a yes, so I'm taking the low dose. Willing to try/do anything I possibly can! Seeing her again tomorrow for a couple of mins just to check levels etc. Not seeing doc until Tuesday, I'll be coming up to 5 weeks then and last mc was at 5+1...

Not doing too much mentalling, been too busy!! Had friends round this morning, then we took kids to park. Was sooo hot. What a wonderful week to have time off! Grin

pecka33 · 20/04/2011 19:35

Thanks harrassed, what's the b6 for then? I've ordered some bits off amazon but not b6n maybe I should add that onto my list too... I will be rattling!! Lol
Good luck with the next couple of weeks, I have everything crossed for you...can I ask, what exactly does a
Kinelologist do?? Sorry I know I've spelt that wrong but you know what I mean.... Ha ha

harassedinherpants · 20/04/2011 20:15

*Pecka don't just buy B6, you need activated or P5P. It's to do with regulating and topping up hormones. You have a supply of B6, and as you age it depletes and can affect your cycles etc. My kinesiologist takes 1 drop and I take 20! Well 35 at the moment and probably more tomorrow!

Have a look here for info on kinesiology. They test you for certain things using muscle strength/weakness. I lay on my back with one leg at right angles, she places certain things (vitamins & hormones for me) on a bit of skin (tummy normally) and when she pushes against your whether you're weak or strong indicates a reaction. She actually asks me questions and gets reaction through the muscle testing. Weird I know, but very good I have to say.

Och realised I missed you but dh jumped straight on pc. Sorry to hear you're still bleeding. Are you worried or do you think it's ok? I had an infection after erpc in Jan and it was horrid, I'd advise you to err on the side of caution if at all worried.

ochaye · 20/04/2011 21:11

Aw thanks harassed - I'm not too worried yet, just frustrated. Because I haven't been to the epu I suppose there's a niggling doubt that my body isn't doing it's job 100%. It always has in the past but I suppose you never know. I'm going to poas at the weekend and if that's negative and the bleeding stops, I'll feel better. Otherwise I'll give the gp a call on Monday I think.

I'm very interested in the treatment you're getting especially now you have a bfp. I wonder if there are things I could/should be doing next time round to help with stickyness. Think I'll go and see the mw early when it happens in case there's anything I can do.

Sorry af got you pecka, how are you doing? It's good to have a plan I think.

Hoping for some fast acting cream for you yellow.

Tonsilitis on holiday emma - what a drag! It's nasty, nasty, nasty.

Waves to worm, wombat and sparkly - hope you're all doing lovely this evening.

pecka33 · 20/04/2011 21:36

Thanks harrassed, did some googling and found out what they do, even found one 3 miles away, so emailed them tonight.... So wish me luck!! I'm willing to give anything a try...
Thanks ochaye, I'm okn its just getting increasingly frustrating, month after month, my mmc was way back in sept now and lost the baby at 8 weeks so its more like 8\9 months of not being pregnant really!
Ochaye, sorry to hear your still bleeding, are you having anymore symptoms? I spotted for about 7 weeks... Fingers crossed it stops soon. X

harassedinherpants · 20/04/2011 21:37

How many mc's have you had now och? I've had 3 but only two consecutively so no treatment. I'm doing everything I can possibly think of, so am off to bed now as falling asleep on sofa.

Night!

pecka33 · 20/04/2011 21:39

Nyt nyt harrassed x

yellowtomato · 20/04/2011 21:41

Hello all

Thanks for the kind words re rash, it is around one eye and one nostral, weird hey?

pecka sorry af got you, sounds like you are getting good plans together for next month

harassed sounds like your kinnny thing is good, I had something similar to test for alergies and it was amazing that didn't know what was in my hand but got dramatic weakness and muscle pain against my main allergies.

Emma poor you with tonsillitis, grim, have you got anti-bs?

Hope everyone else is ok is too hard to type then check back on this stupid phone.

Off to bed am knackered

wombatinwaiting · 21/04/2011 05:38

Morning all! In anticipation of my trip to Beirut tomorrow, we have a Lebanese style buffet for brekkie today - flatbreads, creamcheese, olives and strong coffee. Actually, scrap that - hot cross buns with lashings of butter all round plus cadbury mini eggs Grin - tis Easter friday after all!

Sorry that af got you pecka - glad that you have some plans in place and good luck with the kinesiologist. It sounds fascinating harassed. How are you doing? I imagine that you'll feel better as the days tick past....

Bugger re: the rash yellow - did doc say what it actually is? Perhaps you're allergic to work! I bet you're looking forward to a few days off this weekend after your frantic start to work - how's it going generally?

Nice to hear from you emma - great that you can SWI on hols - makes a big difference I think. Sorry to hear re: the tonsilitis.....

Very busy day today so will check back later to see how you're all doing - waves to all!

Morning Everyone.

I had the most awful nightmare last night.........I was in a room sat on a sofa with DH next to me, then someone came in and told him it was his turn, he gave Me a look like " well I don't want to but I have to" and He had to go upstairs and have sex with someone!! and I could his "come grunt" Shock !!!!
My tummy keeps lurching everytime I think about it!! I woke myself up in a cold sweat!! Didn't want to stop cuddling Him before He went to work!!
I did pull the bed covers back last night in a matter of factly way and quip "fill 'er up please" My sub-conch didn't like that I guess!!

Bugger about the AF Pecka I like your plan, and definately think the time has come to "go for it" then seek advice.

Thanks for the info on the B6 harassed and kinesy thingy, it all sounds very interesting, and if I don't get a BFP this month I may have a go too........

Bugger that nasty rash yellow I hope it is going down now .

Beruit ey?! can't say that is a place I ever want to go!! Have fun wombat is it business or pleasure?

DD has "nearly finished" bless Her, it's actually been really nice this week , as at 11 there is little 'mothering' I need to do, and it's been lovely having that back for a bit. Now it will go back to closed bedroom doors and no cuddles!! for 4 weeks ish.

Have a nice weekend Girls, I have 200 privet plants to put in this weekend, cue sparkly in for a teasing , (hope all in well sparkles)
x

Sparklywine · 21/04/2011 08:56

A teasing, moi?! You are a gift Worm Smile Actually as soon as I saw the privet comment my mind was simply whirring with possibilities! Grin However, I have been sensible and googled privets to see what you are planting. A handy calculator estimates that is 200 feet worth of hedging. Is this to block out the vulgar footballer neighbours? Or cast some shade on the pool?
Ooh, stop stop.
Blush at "come grunt" by the way Grin
I'm doing alright, have had a wobbly time over the past couple of days thinking nothing is developing in there, would hate to have another blighted ovum. I was teary this morning so DH gave me a cuddle and said "Yup, you don't want the Millenium Falcon without Hans Solo again!", his fallback point of reference for something horribly wrong! Made me giggle, but something doesn't feel right. I think, might be making it up!

Wormshuffler · 21/04/2011 16:03

Only 16 more days til the scan sparkly hope you are over your wobble, sending you sore boob and sickness vibes......
Merely replacing a fence with a nature loving hedge my dear......

wombatinwaiting · 21/04/2011 18:54

And will you be practicing topiary worm?! Perhaps something in the shape of a giant sperm to aid fertility [bugrin]

Sorry to hear about your wobbles sparkly and I hope it passes soon - I will be urging the 16 days to pass as quickly as they can for you x - glad that DH gave you a cuddle and I hope his choice of words did the trick for you [buconfused]....

Beirut is a fun girls trip - only about a 3 hour plane ride from here although I am a bit anxious about getting back into the country here on Sat night. We land at midnight at a bit of a backwater airport and I still don't have my new residence visa so madly hoping the e-gate facility is working ok and I can waltz through without a lengthy interrogation from the nazi immigration folk....

I think you're going to all have better weather than me - thundery showers tomorrow and then rain on sat, max 17 degrees [bushock] - wishing you all wonderful long Eater weekends and here's hoping the Easter bunny is particularly good to you this year [busmile] xx

Wormshuffler · 22/04/2011 08:14

Hello drunk tipsy yellow I don't know what to say without sounding patronizing or insincere, have a wormy (((((hug))))) xxxx

yellowtomato · 22/04/2011 10:57

Morning all

Phew that was a session and a half! Not feeling tip top today but am loving this weather.

Have you all got lovely plans?

I will mainly be sleeping and drinking, hopefully in lovely sunshine. Rash update, it is going down and is slightly less itchy.

How is everyone, updates please!

Sparklywine · 22/04/2011 11:47

Morning all! Oh it is the most beautiful day today. DH has gone off on the scooter to visit his Grans so I am home alone with only 4 cats for company [bugrin] Quite worried the house smells of shit (as DH came downstairs and said "The house smells of shit. Or cat food. But that also smells of shit") so I have been frantically bleaching and cleaning, and lighting incense.

Expecting dsis later with sparklyniece1 who is having a sleepover tonight, we're going to make Easter chocolate baskets somewhere I can hose down [bugrin] and then pile round to the parents for a family bbq tomorrow. Hoping dmum (what is the abbreviation there?) has not got Pimms or something, she will smell a rat if I turn it down. It's the equivalent of Yellow out on the town drinking diet coke Grin

Thinking of telling dsis today, for support and also to provide cover, I can't be doing with the deception. If things don't work out maybe best she knows this time, it will at least explain my irrational moods.
Don't feel pregnant still, have a stronger sense of smell (dh smelling of beer last night was a bit blurgh) and feel queasy if I haven't eaten, especially in the evening, but that's it really. Roll on the 7th May when at least I will know for sure whether things are progressing.
Well, must go, dsis is making me wash the gunk off my greenhouse as she is bringing round things she expects me to be able to grow [buhmm] I still haven't told her about tomatogate last year [bublush]
Love to all, thanks for the diet breakfast Wombat, I feel much trimmer for having eaten nothing!
