Hi Ladies, im back!! been lurking for a few days as my new phone is a right pain in the arse!! so waiting till i was back to work to use my laptop, naughty naughty!!!
seems like ive missed lots, sparkly, wombat hope your both ok, and not worrying too much, which im sure is easier said than done!! just think positive and restup...
Harrassed, glad your doing really well and your being loked after, ive been looking into the kinny but havent found anyone local yet, been still on the hunt as think it could help...
ochaye how are you? has the bleeding stopped, how long has it been now??
worm emma yelloware you all on the two week wait now??
wellie how bout you? where are you up to now?
im currently on day 8, so getting plenty of swi in, every 2 days mr pecka's orders!! his a determined fellow!!!
surely we get ten out of ten for at least trying this month!!! and be awarded with a bfp, which i very much doubt!!!! Sad

ochaye · 26/04/2011 20:53

Mr pecka hee hee ... conjures up a jolly pic in my head [bugrin]. I hope you're well and trully awarded!

Sorry to hear you've had some spotting too sparkly - you and wombat need to take it properly easy. Great news that it's all calmed down.

harassed - we have more in common than our recent history it seems. My DD1 is 5 in July too! I haven't got a 22 year old though.

Thanks for all your kind responses re: bleeding. It's just so annoying. I haven't had a follow up check/scan or anything. I prefer to let my body sort it out and have a fear that if I go to the medical people they'll intervene. It's 2.5 weeks since my mc started so hopefully this is the end of it. I'm still baffled by FF as it thinks I've ov'd and today my temp shot up 3.5 degrees. I've never seen anything like it before. I can't wait for this cycle to come to an end.

Hope you're all well worm, emma, yellow, wellie and off enjoying the sun somewhere.

harassedinherpants · 26/04/2011 21:05

I now have a picture of Mr Pecka in my head!!! Mind you he looks a bit knackered Pecka.....Wink.

Is yours a madam too Och??!

Quick update from me: doc was fab and shocked at how quickly I got a bfp again Blush. I have to arrange early booking in with mw and say that I need a dating scan.

I've been freaking out since around 4ish as been having quite a crampy tummy. However my gurgling tummy now suggests it probably more to do with the brown bread, lots of salad and veg and prunes I ate to fend off the dreaded constipation.... Blush

wombatinwaiting · 27/04/2011 05:34

Morning ladies - danish pastries for the unhealthy and smoothies for the healthy this morning.

Waves madly at pecka - glad to hear all is good although just listening to you and mr pecka's exploits is making me exhausted! You should definitely get A+ for effort.

So glad to read your doc was fab harassed - I think this is your GP from many years who you really like? Keep us posted on your scan news and booking in. Did he say anything about prog supp?

3.5 degrees is quite a significant jump ochaye - you don't think you've got a fever / infection or anything do you? Really don't want to worry you and can understand completely you not wanting to be intervened with where unnecessary. Will you give yourself a "cut-off" date for the bleeding before you go and see the docs? SEnding hugs and thoughts x

How are you yellow? Long time no hear so no doubt you're back into the thick of it at Mi5 and of course with the big nuptials on Friday I'm sure oyu're super busy Wink

And worm - when's your next run planned for? I know you've had a week off which doesn't matter as you were doing really well.... perhaps a run around your new privet hedges.... Grin

No more pink stuff for me yet although naturally had a mini-freak when I coughed last night and my insides seemed to really object!

Big hellos to emma, sparkly, nurse, mana and all - I seem to have lost track a bit on who is on the 2WW - apologies for the slackness Blush

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 27/04/2011 08:19

Morning, can I have both please Grin. I'm starving at the moment!

Wombat glad to see there's a lack of pink stuff, I bet you feel relieved! The coughing thing's a bit weird isn't it? You wait til you get further on Grin.......

A quick pre-school run post from me today. I'm freaking because my boobs aren't as sore as yesterday. They're still sore, and the nausea is still there though so feeling a tad better after posting on the freak out room. Will ask mw when I ring today. Honestly, post-mc'ers should get special priority maternity care imo!!

Wormshuffler · 27/04/2011 13:23

Hi Girls
Those pains could be muscular pains wombat where "things" are shuffling around, when you cough you tense up all your muscles! So I declare them to be positive pains!! You would have had more pink stuff by now too if anything horrible was happening too........ Grin
That freak out room is very apt-ly named harassed, I think they should offer to put newly up duffed people into an induced coma until the 12 week scan!!
Well I am skiving, really cant be arsed to do any work today, as my head if full of thoughts about how I am going to attatch the bunting to my house, and if tonight is too early [saddo emocion]!!! It's only cycle day 20 and I am getting less optimistic with each passing day.......
Hi everyone else [wave]

Sparklywine · 27/04/2011 15:38

I knew Wormy would have bunting! Grin I'm making scones, and may stick little union jack flags in them. Love this atmosphere of the country getting excited and pulling together.
Harassed, my boobs are not sore at all, am I bereft of milk?

Feel very pregnant actually, surprised people haven't noticed but then I'm usually a bit of a porker. Nauseous all day, especially the evening, which I am taking to be a good sign. Chatting about names this morning, is Monty too poncey? Grin Montgomery Wine, QC....
By the way, sorry about my comparative absence, I am not lurking or posting elsewhere but until the scan next weekend I'm trying not to get too excited. Plus am having to go elsewhere for breakfast.....

Wormshuffler · 27/04/2011 16:16

I have nothing to say just wanted to use some royal smileys...... [cgrin] [cwink] !!!

Sparklywine · 27/04/2011 17:04

Oooooh, love it! [cgrin]

yellowtomato · 27/04/2011 22:16

Hello everyone

Phew I'm so tired, worked a 12 hour day today, so glad it is only a 3 day week!

I can def feel the rumblings of af so at least that means we can get on with the next cycle.

Glad things have calmed down a bit for you worm and sparkly and glad you have sore boobs harassed how did it go with the mw?

Am so tired and off to bed, fingers crossed I don't get woken up by af pains in the might, I need my sleep. Night all

wombatinwaiting · 28/04/2011 05:48

Right, feeling huuuugely guilty about not providing MsSparkly with decent service so we have bacon sarnies, eggs benedict, bagels, french toast, waffles, fresh fruit salad, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and good old toast and butter available for brekkie this morning - will that do?! The things you have to do to get a tiny bit of recognition.... (where is the royal huff emoticon?!)

Glad to hear all good with you though sparkly and that you are feeling pg. What is it about the evening nausea? I seem to get that too..... Introduced DH to the word "norks" last night and he can't get enough of it - calling me norky wombat and saying things like "watch out for the incoming norks...." [chmm]

Anyone else getting super excited about tomorrow? We are going down to the sailing club as they are decorating it like a royal street party! [cgrin]

Sorry to hear that AF sounds like its on its way yellow - as you say, you can crack on with this cycle - I take it you and mryellow will both be in the country at the same time this time? Hope so! Hope also that these 12 hour days aren't going to become a habit....

Loving the bunting worm! Why are you feeling less optimistic this month?

Remember harassed - symptoms come and go - I think everyone has had that.... are you now past your bad day? Hope so. Nice to see you in the freak-out room - do you think you may join us sparkly?

How's MrPecka holding up pecka?! [cwink]

Any recurrence of the bleeding ochaye? And emma and wellie - are you guys on the 2WW? Hope all is well.

Tuck in ladies and if I'm not around tomorrow, help yourselves to leftovers or perhaps sparkly might donate some of her union jack scones! [cgrin]

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 28/04/2011 09:00

Morning,

Please don't mention food, feeling a tad [cenvy].....

Symptoms are coming and going. Boobs were sore last night but not this morning, whereas nausea was ok yesterday but awful this morning. Mw said it's normal, but it doesn't feel like it!!

According to my dates I'm 5+1 today, which is when I had the last mc. Just want to get today over and done with as you can imagine. I want to be excited, just feel that I can't be so just waiting for it all to wrong.

Mw was fab, but can't book me in until I'm 8 weeks, so against my better judgement I have an appointment. Then she'll book me a scan at epu if I haven't already given in and phoned them myself!! I have her work mobile, birth centre and epu number, which I've been told I can phone for my neurotic freak out moments. She was lovely [cgrin], but I do feel they should give us post mc preg ladies extra care, earlier appointments etc. I'm sure it would help us all.

Worm I knew you'd have bunting! [cgrin]

Sparkly no it doesn't mean you're bereft of milk!! You'll get it eventually, guaranteed. I love the name Monty, dh would never go for anything like that though. I love choosing names, but dh is soooo fussy. For dd I gave him a list that I liked and he picked his fave, then we squabbled over middle name [chmm].

Yellow sorry to hear af is on it's way, but good that you can look forward to next month now. 12 hour days are a killer, glad I don't have to do those any more! Hope you're going to chill out over the weekend.

Pecka sounds like you and Mr Pecka are going to need a long weekend [csmile].

Sparklywine · 28/04/2011 09:47

Oooh, great brekkie Wombat! Good to see you pulling your socks up [cgrin] Ginger nut, Harassed? (sympathetic hug)

I'm excited about tomorrow too, and the weather is lovely today so bodes well. It's our wedding anniversary today so we're off into town for a bimble (ruched jersey purchase emoticon), and then having lunch in Michael Caine's restaurant, can't wait! (not a lot of people know that. Ha!) Yellow, you in Manchester too? I shall look out for someone nondescript with shades, Kurt Geiger wedges, and an earpiece [cgrin]
I am jealous of Worm's bunting, might try to track some down......
Harassed, given, Monty is not a boxer's name, ha! Bear in mind that I am giving birth to the Milky Bar kid though. I am hoping he has the gift of the gab to talk his way out of trouble, but my dad was in the army so I'll sneak in some survival tactics behind dh's liberal milky back [cgrin]
Love to everyone

harassedinherpants · 28/04/2011 10:21

Happy wedding anniversary Sparkly and Mr Sparkly!! How many years?? Have a fabulous day [cgrin].

Thank you for the offer of a ginger nut but I'll pass thanks. I had awful ms with dd. It was all day (and night) and I literally was ill several times a day. I tried all the traditional ginger stuff, and now can't stand the taste or smell of the stuff. It didn't flaming work anyway!!

wombatinwaiting · 28/04/2011 10:28

How lovely to hear about your fab mw harassed - sorry to hear re: the sickness though - boiled sweets any good? Fingers crossed that today flies by for you.

Oh and sparkly - I meant to say that I like Monty too - sort of name that conjures up a jolly decent chap! [cgrin] What does Michael C's restaurant specialise in? Happy anniversary to you and MrsParkly - one glass of bubbles perhaps?

Feel like I should be eating egg and cress sandwiches or something.... oops sorry harassed!

OP posts:
wombatinwaiting · 28/04/2011 10:38

Did anyone have a read of this thread from discussions of the day? I am grinning like a loon [cgrin]

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 28/04/2011 11:09

That thread is fab wombat... hilarious [cgrin]!

Wormshuffler · 28/04/2011 17:17

Ha loving that thread!!, I have been caught out with a lush bomb before, but mine was wheatgermy stuff, when the water had all drained out the bath looked like I had cleaned myself up after a squity bottom!!
Good news about the sickness harassed I don't recall you having that last time before the latest MC?? so a good sign?? The midwife sounds ace, lets hope She sticks with you!
Much better spread wombat today! although I didn't make it in
Happy Anniversary sparkly [cgrin]

yellowtomato · 28/04/2011 18:55

Hello ladies, I have just finished work for the day! Hurrah! Am indeed off to Manchester tomorrow, going to eat somewhere called stock or something? Hope you had a lovely day sparkly

Mw sounds lovely harassed I agree post mc women should def get more and special attention.

I am always impressed with your sex stamina and dedication pecka hope it pays off!

Sorry can't remember all the other news and this stupid phone will lose everything if I check!

Happy long weekends to all!

Sparklywine · 28/04/2011 19:32

Yoohoo ladies. MCaines specialises in tiny stuff Wombat, we are just ordering in a Dominos [cgrin] It was lovely, very civilised and dh had the wines to match. I didn't have any sparkly but did have a teensy taste of the wines, the sparkly muscat with dessert was so good! We are 5 years today, been together just under 7, no itches yet!
I have been victim of a Lush chocolate massage bar, me and dh looked like we were covered in poo!
Yellow, we know of Stock, it used to be the stock exchange so in a lovely building I think. We haven't been but have heard good things. Enjoy yourself, I am creepily tempted to loiter outside to try and glimpse you, but I expect you will have your people posted. I'd love to meet you all some day, wonder if I could pick you all out. Only Wormy with her quilted Barbour and corgies I expect....[cgrin]
French Connection purchase made today, hanging from the wardrobe it looks like, is it.......yes, ruched jersey! So useful, so flattering [cgrin] Also spent stupid money on some slouchy 3/4 trousers which won't fit next week [cblush] Forgot I am 5ft 4 and will look like a cube.
Oooh, no-one say who won Masterchef, we have two still to watch....

pecka33 · 28/04/2011 21:16

wombat, that was so funny! Made my day, but now have visions of your trawling mumsnet for funny threads!!
Sparkly, happy anniversary sounds like you've had a lovely day, mine and dh is next month, I year of marriage, but 16 years together!!
Swi continues ladies, not fed up yet, not sure if I will feel the same next week when I have to work a four day week and not a three day week!!! Lol

yellowtomato · 28/04/2011 22:04

Hey sparkly would love to meet you too. Tell me, what do you imagine I look like? For you I have blond curly hair and a trim figure. I imagine you in cargo pants for some reason. Any top tips on what to do/visit in Manchester?

Am actually in a restaurant right now and quite tipsy so probably should stop typing now!

Goodnight

wombatinwaiting · 29/04/2011 07:33

Morning all! In honour of the royal nuptials, we have a red, white and blue theme this morning with waffles with blueberries, forest fruits compote and whipped cream - yum! Getting rather excited - anyone else? [csmile]

That's so funny about wondering what each other looks like - I've been doing the same. Have visions of sparkly in dark glasses loitering outside stock looking out for yellow! I know worm said she was going to post what she thought we all looked like after she'd had a few glasses but that was at least a couple of weeks ago - we're still waiting! [cgrin] I've been wondering if we could post pics to our profiles from a long distance away so we're not truly recognisable.... what do you think ladies? I have one of me in a racing helmet and suit which could work....! [cgrin]

Sounds like you had a lovely anniversary sparkly and I luuurve the sound of a sparkling muscat.

Seriously impressed with your shagathon pecka - keep up the good work! [cwink] And as for me trawling threads - can you tell I'm a bit bored at work? [cblush]

Right - off to the sailing club soon to get my place for the wedding - have even hunted out an old redish, white and blue dress [cgrin]. Leaves suitably royal snacks for all and waves regally [cgrin] [cgrin] [cgrin]

Wormshuffler · 30/04/2011 08:24

Morning Ladies! Well the day after the Royal wedding it can only be a breat British fry up for breakfast.
I am back after a brilliant day in London yesterday, my legs are aching this morning as we walked the whole day, even from kings cross to westminster. We didn't get to see any british royalty, (must camp out next time) !! The highlight for me was singinig jerusolem whist waving our flags along with thousands of others on green park........raised some tears from Me, soppy sod that I am.
The kids did brilliantly, and I am really pleased I decided to take them DS was very bored during the service, but will I know remember it forever.

Ah yes I did say I would post how I imagined you all looked didn't I, and havn't got around to that yet.........

It sound like you had a liquid nice time in Manchester yellow !!! Hope you are well.

How are you PG girls doing Much MS yet?
pecka keep up the shagging!!

harassedinherpants · 30/04/2011 10:08

Morning!

Worm sounds like an absolutely fab day. Dd and I were glued to the tv...

Wombat how was your day??

What did everyone else get up to? We didn't do much as dh was working. Dd was a flaming nightmare yesterday, no idea what's got into her. Think we've just crashed headfirst into another "phase"....... deep joy! I did soak my oven in cleaner, but it's sooo blinking filthy in parts I can't get to. Just about to get the steam cleaner-y thingy out and see if it still works!

Ms is in full flow... Dh had to cook most of the dinner as the smell of the mince frying set me off. Then this morning I had to send him to the shop for white crusty rolls and nice new block of butter. It was all I could eat [cgrin]. I have a stonking headache though! Started yesterday and won't shift. Have taken some paracetamol now.
