welcome ochaye sorry you find yourself back with us, but be assured its a nice place to be, with plenty of laughs along the way!!
Ohhh ladies im suffering today, went out for a few drinkies with friends last night 13 of us!! So was a little messy, made sure i got a few extra in for you sparkly!! And paying for it today... Oooucccchhhhh.

Had a big fat greasy fry up this morning, which was lush!!! A lovely way to kick off my planned diet next week, myself dh and even the dog are on a major health kick, was told yesterday the poor dog has put on 5kl, if shes put on 5kl dread to think what ive put on!!? (dont keep scales in the house)

lovely weather were having here in the uk again today!!! Shame in sat in my pj,s with a hangover!! X

wombatinwaiting · 11/04/2011 04:23

Well, well it was very quiet on here yesterday - I'm guessing you were all in pub gardens somewhere getting suitably squiffy in the sunshine! Smile - other than pecka of course - did you make it our of your pjs?!

In other weather news, we had a huuuuge thunderstorm last night - the pooch was going mental. Very unusual for April but I do hope it clears some of the yukky weather we've been having.

Another plus of our new offices is the divine French bakery just 200 yards away - got chatting (in a bit of French) to the owner yesterday and he offered me a sample watermelon(!) macaroon and the best pain au chocolat I have ever tasted in Dubai. The rest of their pastries looked amazing too - could be a slippery slope....!

So pain au chocs all round this morning for you lovely ladies - enjoy!

Morning girls
I just did a great long post name checking you all an babbling on about my weekend only to press a weird button and lose the lot!! GRRRRRR
Hope you are all well, and welcome back ochaye sorry you are having to be here though life's a bitch sometimes......
I hear you all on the seeing pregnant women everywhere, I kept finding myself in all the maternity wear sections while I was shopping with DD the other day, and it was a [sign] moment. A bit of fun happened though...... there was a demonstration about the cuts and the tax dodgers going on while we were there, so I joined in ,in an impromptu moment of anarchy, it was great fun chanting outside the vodaphone shop "vodaphone, pay your tax"!!!! DD was of course mortified, but then went on to tell her friends how hilarious it was.
happy monday girls.........

wombatinwaiting · 11/04/2011 09:12

Don't you just hate it when that happens on the long post? If I'm writing a long one, I have taken to copying it half way - sad or what?!

So that's harassing your parish council AND taking part in anarchy - I'm fully expecting to read about your arrest soon worm!

Wormshuffler · 11/04/2011 17:33

pecka33 · 11/04/2011 17:47

wombatinwaiting · 11/04/2011 18:21

Ah pecka - tis way, way, way too early to break open the sticks too early - chill while you can..... before you know where you are you'll be up to your ankles in nappies and wishing madly for the days when you could POAS 20 days early. I have hope!

Love your dad's jumper story! Grin

emmaandthestar · 11/04/2011 19:20

Yes, I have snuck in through the back and joined the 'in crowd' over in trendy new coffee bar...
SWI starts tomorrow although I'm sure the pains I convinced myself were implantation may have actually been ovulation (if so - it was at around CD16) so may have to carry on whilst in sunny Cyprus :)

Pecka [shakes head in shame] 10 days early... at least you didn't break out another thinking it was dud... I have been known to go through 5 tests in two days I may as well put £20 in the toilet and flush!
Harrassed hows the cowboy walk doing Wink

harassedinherpants · 11/04/2011 20:32

Omg I'm knackered!! Dd is allegedly ill. Well she has a rash on her face and arms, and had to take her to the docs before child minder would have her, and doc said it's a virus. So I had the day off with her, and I spring cleaned. I now know why I'm not a sahm....... its exhausting! But the house is sparkly and lots more boxes packed.

Pecka naughty girl!! They never ever work that early, you know that! I love your Dad's jumper, hilarious Grin.

Worm I agree, it's the law you have to embarass them. I found the best ones were bumping into ds1 on a night out in town. Him and his mate came out on my friends hen night, it was very messy but there are some fab pics of him in compromising situations lol.

Emma have recovered and now on 2ww so am not interested Wink! Hormones are very clever things really.

Wombat am sooo jealous of your bakery!

pecka33 · 11/04/2011 20:49

i know im offically told off and put on the naughty step by you girlies!!! Lol
so true wombat!! Thats exactly what my sister said when she visited last month when i was bending her ear about my lack of children at the age of 33....
Im taking your advice ladies and chilling out!!!
(red wine in hand)

ochaye · 11/04/2011 21:01

Ha ha ha sparkly ... you are too good! I joined up thinking this was the thread I'd been on before and then discovered there are two similar threads and similar people on them! But if you'll have me ... I'd like to stay??

Interesting info re: testing wombat and harassed - I'm off to see the midwife on Wednesday so will see what she recommends.

On the subject of random tests ... when should I take a test to try and get a negative? I find it all so strange to be keen for a negative test ...

worm - you are crazy ... I love you!

harassedinherpants · 11/04/2011 21:06

Hi Och. Epu asked me to poas a week after my natural mc, and I got a bfn then.

I've had two consecutive mc's like you, and had a 3rd 8ish years ago. They only do testing here after 3 consecutive mc's, seems to be fairly common unfortunately. I had some blood tests done to rule out obvious stuff like thyroid, but my gp said just to try again and see what happens.

It's a bit crap tbh!

yellowtomato · 11/04/2011 21:13

just popping by to slap pecka round the chops with a big fish. 10 days early, what were you thinking??? Glad you've seen the error of your ways.....so no more testing until 2nd May....put that on the spreadsheet will you wombat?

Off to Dublin tomorrow, staying in a v glam hotel.......shame I'm about to ov and DP is going to be in London.......boo hiss.......I'll just have to get stuck into the free wine.....

ochaye of course you can stay, I've looked up my files on you and was wondering when you'd come clean on never having been here before. If you think it'd help you to see a negative to be sure you are back to 'normal' go for it but I didn't bother. Getting my af usually clears that one up for me.

I didn't manage to jump DP on Sat as after all that sun and wine i feel asleep on the sofa! Made up for it the next day though after a lovely picnic in the park. For once the weather did the right thing by being good at the weekend and worse today when I reckon it's normally the other way round.

Right, need to go and pack and stuff.

ochaye · 11/04/2011 21:43

Thanks yellow Grin.

On the poas thing, I think I just want to make sure in case (massive wishful thinking) I don't get another af. I'm realistic it's unlikely and it hasn't happened to me before, but you never know ...

I had to double take ... I thought you made up for it AT a lovely picnic in the park! That would've been taking it too far Grin. Rubbish timing with your trip. Are you only away for one night? Hope so x

Wormshuffler · 12/04/2011 07:31

Morning girls
I bring breads and meats from around the world this morning, oh how I love a proper continental breakfast..........won't be having this year any now that DMin L has moved to Cornwall, and we are being summoned there.........
I did a test about 3 days after my natural M/C and got a bfn, I know what you mean ochaye about just needing to know, it allows you to draw a line under and start again. Another group like our yousay???? Shock surely not, we are the most unique group on the net!! We need new blood on the thread now that we have some graduates they are buggering off busy thinking about their PG's and no doubt flirting on the Pregnancy forums now!! Grin

wombatinwaiting · 12/04/2011 11:53

Noooooo worm - I am never leaving you all! Way too much history and too many lovely peeps on this thread! It's funny - I still feel like such a newbie on the "freak out room for newly updiffed post mc" thread and much more comfortable here.... Thanks for providing brekkie this morning - nom nom!

Do please stay ochaye - apart from anything else I love saying ochaye in my head! I take it you are Scottish? (the ladies here will tell you that I'm dead nosey, I prefer to think of it as mild curiosity..... Grin ) I didn't test to get a negative with either of my 2 m.cs but wished I had so that I didn't get my hopes up with a late AF..... If you get a bfn, you can also be fairly sure that there are no retained products which can also cause issues.....

Well done on the shagathon harassed and good going with your DS1 on a hen night Grin

I wonder which posh hotels in Dublin they put MI6 agents in.... bugger re: the ov timing yellow - between your work and DH's work, they seem hell bent on preventing you from SWI..... obviously the vitamin D in the sunshine worked well for you Wink

One of the down sides to the swanky new offices is that I seem to be much more productive - it is a good thing for sure, but I'm just not finding as much mn time as I would like - might have to have a word with management Grin

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 12/04/2011 12:08

Morning-ish! Well I haven't eaten lunch therefore it's still morning right?!

Worm oh I love a good continental brekkie....delicious.

Yellow oooh enjoy the posh hotel even if timings not right for you.

Wombat you can tell management from me that's is just not on! You must be able mn constantly.

Cd 21 here....can't believe it's 3 weeks tomorrow since I started mc'ing Sad and 12 weeks today since erpc. It sucks big time!!! Have a crampy tummy so I think that's af making herself known so I'm going to eat chocolate this evening. I was meant to go running last night and didn't, but I cleaned and sorted and ran after dd loads yesterday!

wombatinwaiting · 12/04/2011 14:06

Oh harassed - sorry to hear that Sad - does it feel like a long time ago or just yesterday? I hope that it is af in some ways so that at least you can get back into your usual cycle for ttc purposes.

Talking of running, how is Zola "worm" Budd going this week....?!

Getting v jealous of your hols emma - when are you off? Hope you are all limbered up and ready for your SWI tomorrow - calves, hamstrings, triceps - don't want to pull anything that might jeapordise things Grin

Sparklywine · 12/04/2011 14:32

I am here, what a stupid day. Rang the gp yesterday to get the midwife's number for the booking in appointment, and was told I had to go in, so duly took the morning off and stomped up to the surgery. I knew it was a wasted visit, the doctor seemed bemused to see me, asked if I was taking folic acid, and then took my heartbeat (?!) as a token gesture of doctoring. Having happily confirmed that I am indeed alive, I left with a crappy freephone number that passed me round the houses until I finally got the hospital I wanted. Grrr.

Popped into a bakers to buy the team some cakes, they didn't have any nice ones so I panicked and bought a croissant. Why? Just had it for a random lunch. Am all over the place now, work is stressful, Batfink hasn't eaten for a day or so (turned nose up at chorizo this morning though dh did point out it may be a tad on the spicy side), and I feel teary and not pregnant. Why aren't I vomiting and glowing?

Waaah!
Is there any edam left from brekkie, as I seem to be eating meals at random times?

harassedinherpants · 12/04/2011 14:55

You're not meant to be glowing yet! You're meant to be feeling stressed, tearful and generally shite.... although that may just be me when preg lol.

Maybe you're having cheese cravings?? I did with prg last month Grin.

Wombat I'm not sure if it feels ages ago or recent tbh. Just that it's all been about mc'ing for sodding months now!!

I am now looking forward to moving as that bloody house has brought nothing but bad times, apart from when dh and I go married (2 years in June). First my beloved pup got very poorly and had to be pts, then we got a cat and she got runover, trials with ds2 and now the mc's. It's the house's fault!!

Wormshuffler · 12/04/2011 16:03

I never ever glowed with my DC's ...........sparkly soon enough you will be feeling suitably lousy I am sure Grin
wombat I ran got around 5k on sunday morning, but found it really tough going an was cursing myself for letting my fitness ebb away. I have scheduled my next run for wed night, there I have said it and now i have to do it. Put it on the spreadsheet!!
Are you moving far harassed?

Sparklywine · 12/04/2011 16:31

Thank you Harassed and Worm for the reassurance, I am feeling stressed, tearful and shite! So they're actual symptoms eh, I thought it was just me! Grin

I think I had a fitful sleep, my subconsious trying to make me sleep on my back and my fat cat asleep on my feet making it impossible to turn over.
I do really fancy a chunk of the ol' cathedral city now you ask Harassed, hom. I hope your new home brings you good karma and happy vibes, when do you move?
By the way, am determined to glow at some point!

yellowtomato · 12/04/2011 18:51

So am at the airport all alone with a glass of wine. What a busy day! Sorry you were feeling bad sparkly but glad the girls were able to help you feel better.

So I am on my way to a posh hotel, am awash with ewcm and dp is at home, something is wrong! Oh well I guess there is always next month.

Am bored, please entertain me! Grrr, why does my phone always change me to mr?
